We just stayed at this Marriott after wanting to book specifically in Back Bay and reading reviews on all the hotels. We had newly renovated rooms, and they were perfectly done. The double rooms are large with a TV/3 drawer dresser, a nice seat with foot rests, modern lighting. The bathroom is a little bit tight but gorgeous otherwise. The Yard House restaurant is convenient and tasty. The location can't be beat bc we walked to all sorts of places. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return anytime!

I stayed for one night. Arrived and as I was given my key I was told that there was some construction going on each day until 6pm. I went to the room and it sounded like jack hammers going off in the room. There was a letter on hotel letterhead in the room. It informed me that the water was likely to be shut off during construction and suggested I try the gym on another floor when it goes off. Then at bedtime the AC sounded like a plane was landing in the room During the night the AC went off. Did not sleep at all. Checked out and went to valet to get my car. No valet. Waited in line at front desk to be told, "Oh, it's a little confusing but you have to go to the back of the hotel for the car valet." And water was in the room with a big note saying it was $4 . What a joke. I've traveled a lot and this was the worst hotel.

Service was prompt and welcoming from the moment we got there. Staff provided lots of interesting facts about Boston, and the landmarks to visit. Perfect walking location to all the landmarks: Fenway Park, Boston Gardens, Public Library, Commonwealth paths, Prudential shopping, Newbury street, cheers. Only comments are that the valet pickup upon leaving was slow and the rooms provided double beds, not queen size.

Checked out of 1 room Checked out of 1 room then going into another room for an additional 2 nights. Asked for early check in & 4:10 still not in room. Also needed to use restroom & there was one in checking lobby & we could not use it as it need a hotel key. Asked concierge Tim for key & explained my situation & told me & my 10 year old to go down hall & use the public restroom. I had all my belongings & 2 young children with me & explained why it would be easier to use close restroom. Talked to manager at check in - man with glasses think his name might be Michael & he was not accommodating but finally allowed us into that restroom. Also while approaching the valet he told me since I had a LS Lexus that I would have to pay an additional $45 per night as my car was too large. Told him that I have been going to this hotel over the past 10 years & was never told that nor charged. then going into another room for an additional 2 nights. We checked into the Marriott Copley Place. Easy check-in process. This hotel is currently under renovation. We had read reviews on this and requested in advance a renovated room. The floor we were placed on still smelled like new carpet. Everything looked new and clean. We threw our bags in our room and went out to tour the city. Location is excellent. Train stop is through the attached mall. Walking distance to so much. We returned in the evening and pulled back the bed to find a chunk of hair. Not ours, obviously. It was late and we were tired but I wasn't sleeping on a bed where I just saw that blob of hair. In addition, there was a glow ring on the floor next to the bed. I can see how that was missed. We called front desk and they gave us another room on the same floor. Within 2 minutes security was at our room with our new keys. We moved around the corner to our new room which had no issues. Breakfast was very good with omelet and waffle station. All staff was extremely nice and helpful. As mentioned, location is excellent. Common areas were clean and updated. Only negative was the concierge lounge was not open on the weekend. Would recommend and would stay here again.

We have stayed at the Marriott Copley a few times a year for the past 10 years. This time was the best, most comfortable stay ever. The reason for this is because we had a beautiful immaculately clean room and a perfect, perfect temperature in the room thanks to two people Xinfong Li in housekeeping who was so attentive and nice to us when we needed something for our room 2906 and George in Engineering who personally arranged to VIP program our air conditioner thermostat so quickly upon our arrival to the cool temperature that we needed. He was so polite and so understanding that the temperature was right for us so that we could sleep through the night. We slept great. He programmed the a/c for 72 hours and told us that he would be happy to reprogram it thereafter, if we called him, which we did and he came by within minutes. He even gave us his card so that we could call him the next time we stay, if we need assistance. He is professional, he really is an expert in his craft and customer needs and a great person. We definitely will stay here again and are so happy that we don't have to worry about the a/c or waking up in the middle of the night being too hot.

The food was the best I’ve ever had at a conference. The fitness center attendant Herfa was fabulous. The equipment was better than my home gym and the place was spotless. The maid service was excellent. We loved the modern elevator system. It was so efficient.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend trip as he's never actually explored Boston before, having been from New Hampshire. Super cool experience and I don't know of a better area to stay in than Copley Place! Check in was super smooth; Shout out to Katie S. for welcoming us so nicely and helping with my forms. Wonderful introduction to the hotel and the rest of the staff was also incredibly friendly. The rooms were much nicer than I thought they would be; granted, we were informed that our room was recently renovated. We were warned that there may be a bit of noise from construction but to our delight, it was very quiet! The rooms are amazing-- very beautiful, modern, and spacious. I didn't get a high floor room, but that didn't even matter because even the middle-floor rooms had an amazing view! The Yard House, which is located in the same building and provides room service to the hotel, was top notch and we loved the burgers and drinks! It was also a plus that the hotel is shared with the Copley Mall, connected to the Copley T Station, and only a few streets down from Newbury Street. It made perusing around Boston a breeze. The Housekeeping and Housemen were amazing and very quick with any requests that we had and never once did I feel like I was troubling anybody, which was nice! Perhaps a bare minimum but you never know what to expect with hotels. Highly recommend and I look forward to (hopefully) staying with you guys again!

We stayed here to for a quick weekend trip to see the NY Yankees at Fenway. We werent sure if the hotel was going to be close enough to walk but I will say it was a great choice of a hotel. We did get a renovated room, that was clean, and new. The lobby was spacious and welcoming. The location was perfect to walk to nearby restaurants and shopping. It was a short 20 minute walk to Fenway Park. We were skeptical about returning at night walking back, but there were so many people walking with us to the hotel, and other hotels in the area. There is the Yard House restuarant on the upper level that we did order take out at 1145pm after the game. The only thing that was a bit crazy was that we paid for the Marriott parking garage and when we picked up the car it was covered in white dust that wouldn't come off until it was washed. They are doing construction so something got on our car and we saw others as well. Marriott did take off the charge when they saw the car.
