It's really a great place to stay. The staff are excellent, very cordial, professional and caring. The rooms are extremely clean. We had a water view, which was quite nice. The breakfast is standard, but very complete...eggs, meats, breads, pancakes, juices, coffee. To get there, make sure your GPS is set to the max settings so you can clearly see the road, there's confusion coming off the bridge.
Good hotel on the outskirts of Boston. Easy commute to Boston via train ( red line). One way $2.40. Commuter parking located on Newport Ave. You need an app "paybyphone" to pay for parking there ( $5 per day). Or you can walk to the station from the hotel (20 minutes walk). Taking a train is a good solution to trying to find parking downtown Boston. Good restaurant in the hotel. Rooms are clean but housekeeping is every 72 hrs unless you request more frequently. Coffee maker and fridge in the room. Free full breakfast. Free parking.
It was very clean. A little outdated. But the room was nice It overlooked the water and had a refrigerator. I had a very nice meal at the Adams Pub. It was a great place. I was there for a reception and the food from the buffet was very good.
our daughter treated us to a 2 night mini getaway while she had business in Boston. What a beautiful place and wonderful staff. Our room was beautiful. My husband had a rough few years battling pancreas problems and diabetes complications so this little getaway was so good for him. The breakfasts were wonderful and young ladies staffing it were so sweet. We loved walking the grounds so scenic. The Pub had a great selection of meals. All around wonderful time. Excellent staff, ,very clean🙂
This venue was awesome for an event like mine. Banquet staff was amazing; banquet food options were tasty; spacious room. Lots of parking, water view, walking distance to local entertainment. Front desk staff, Latanya in particular, was professionally accommodating. Pub/Bar food was reasonably priced, generous and tasty - I have had cobb salad - highly recommended, fish & chips- french fries were on point, and the next to the best-made margarita I ever had. I wish food was available long enough for a midnight snack. I hope we can have our 45th Reunion party here. The is a do over.
Me and my Daughter stayed overnight as she was having her 18th Birthday party at the Hotel. Our Room overlooked the water 😊I especially selected the room to be near the water. Beds were so comfy. Room nice and clean. Bathroom clean 😊 The party was a success. Everything was perfect And a memory my daughter and I will not forget. Hotel staff friendly, welcoming.
Waterfront view was delightful as was full warm breakfast. Room was clean and quiet, staff friendly and helpful. Train into Boston just up the road. Perk was colorful autumn leaves! Definitely recommend.
I don’t understand how this hotel has any 5 star reviews. It smells, heater is loud and runs constantly, toilet runs, furnishings are shotty. Gym is just a bike, tread and elliptical - nothing else. Getting here is a disaster of one way roads winding around bridges. It’s gross. Don’t come here.
The hotel was clean and handy for town without being central. The staff were very friendly and so helpful and went above and beyond what could be expected from them. A special mention to Mary on reception who was incredibly helpful and friendly. Overall it was very good value.
This hotel is probably one of the oldest in the area but you wouldn’t know it. Very clean and recently the reception area had a facelift. The water view rooms provide for amazing sunsets to the west. Free parking and the Adams pub is conveniently located on the ground level. Many other fine dining opportunities a short drive away. Housekeeping does an excellent job and the staff at the front desk couldn’t be more helpful. We stay here whenever we’re in Boston
