Old Wailuku Inn was a wonderful stay. Hot breakfasts, delivered on time every morning except one when we had an early outing. For that one, they placed a wonderful breakfast in our frig. Accomodating to the fullest. Clean, comfortable. We stayed in one of the first floor rooms and it was easy for my spouse, who uses a cane, to get around. Highly reccomend.

We had a really wonderful stay here. The central location on Maui meant we could easily explore Kihei, Makena, Lahaina, the Haleakala National Park, and the road to Hana. We found good restaurants nearby, and the breakfasts were wonderful.

Janice, Tom and Shelly make sure you feel welcome! The property is charming and warm. The breakfasts are amazing and they were extremely accommodating, taking into account my dietary restrictions. Each room is set up with its own beautiful Hawaii vibe and is comfortable and incredibly clean. It has its own private lanai which I love as well. I've stayed here for three separate business visits and really can't imagine staying anywhere else while in Maui. If you love feeling as though you're part of the family and are happy not paying resort fees then this is the place to be! Thanks again Janice, Tom and Shelly for the spirit of ohana! It's always best to feel part of something, especially when traveling! Mahalo - Cheryl

I wanted to share my trip that I had with my son to Wailuku Inn. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute of our stay at this Inn. The owners, Tom and Janice were very accommodating and brought us the most delicious cooked breakfast prepared by Janice which was like a delicious gourmet breakfast! Every morning. They had a beautiful garden to sit in and fresh coffee available every morning! It was just a great start to a every morning to get out and explore! I highly recommend staying at this inn. We will certainly be going back to stay with them. They were very welcoming and it was like staying for a visit with friends! Thanks again, Tom and Janice. Nancy and Andy S

We truly loved our stay here. From the moment we stepped onto the property until we left, we felt as if we were friends of the owners and employees. Janice, Tom, and Shelly took the time to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Each time they passed us they would check-in and make sure we were enjoying our stay. If I had a question, I could text a number and they would reply immediately. We stayed in the Mokihana room. The room was clean, spacious, and included good quality linens. The air-conditioning worked well and was a welcome comfort after a full day in the sun. The property felt safe to us, and clear directions were given to check-in. The grounds offers beautiful seating areas outside with lush gardens full of flowers. Breakfast was more than we expected. It was delivered at 8am sharp and was always hot and delicious. My husband has an egg allergy and had planned to eat only the sides on days that eggs were served. The cook learned of my husbands egg allergy and served my husband non egg versions of the same dishes and they were FANTASTIC! This was another special perk that we had not expected. Then, on a few of our mornings we left before 5 am. We called the night before to let the cook know that we would ne be eating the breakfast on those mornings. To our surprise, they would come in the evening before and place a cold breakfast in our fridge to take with us on early mornings. This meal consisted of various cheeses, crackers, hard boiled eggs, and a fruit, granola, and yogurt parfait. The extra kindness and care made all the difference for us. The owners of this property truly care about your comfort and are willing to go out of their way to meet the needs of their customers. If we return to Maui, we will stay here again for sure!

Our trip has been perfectly punctuated by the lovely pace and accommodations at the Old Wailuku Inn. We were looking for something out of the rat race and distinctly Hawaii. This has not disappointed us in any way. You can walk to a great cocktail place, stop at one of the best quilt shops ever( just two minutes from here ) and get most everywhere in a thirty minute trip. We found the proprietor friendly and very helpful. Breakfast has been exceptional and even tho we are leaving before it is served he managed to bring us a take away for our trip. Loved the room, felt right at home.

Wow. Really above and beyond with thoughtful details and excellent accommodations. Tom was helpful with ideas for what to do, the check in was smooth and fast, and breakfast was beyond amazing during our stay. Really enjoyed the aveda toiletries and robes. Our parents had a fancy shower in their room (like 6 different jets/rain shower head/etc.), which was also very fun. Make sure to take your breakfast on the lanai as that was our favorite spot during our stay. Lovely outdoor space. Also appreciate welcome gifts after a long day of travel. Would definitely stay again!

The Old Wailuku Inn is one of the most beautiful, welcoming places we have ever stayed. Their whole approach, care, and esthetics are a total embrace of human potential and Hawaiian cultural offering in our modern world. Every day in the Inn was a grand gift. Poems with our customized gourmet breakfasts on the veranda overlooking the splendid garden, sumptuous room with cool, clean comfort, an in-room library of photography, Hawaiian history and adventure books; beauty wherever one looks....help with any questions, great staff, easy parking, authentic neighborhood, affordable rates.... Wonder!

My husband and I have stayed here twice in the last year. We stayed in the main house for one trip and in the adjacent building for the other. Both rooms were very nice with comfortable beds and amazing showers. The breakfasts were delicious-high quality ingredients cooked perfectly. I needed dairy-free foods and they were very accommodating. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful. The rooms are also very private, including the rooms in the main house. Highly recommended!

This was our second time staying at the Old Wailuku Inn and we will definitely be back each time we visit Maui! The first time was our honeymoon in 2019 pre-pandemic and most recently in May 2022 for our babymoon. My husband and I absolutely love the location, ambiance, hospitality, and yummy and well presented breakfasts every morning!! Even though we no longer sit at a communal table to talk story, the owners do a great job making guests feel special. We were welcomed with fresh papaya and other fruits and they have everything you need including beach towels and umbrellas for use around the island. Eating breakfast on the outdoor patio overlooking the beautiful garden was favorite part. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
