Maui Hill has very nice accommodations. The location is perfect for walks in the morning with easy access to the beach and excellent for watching the sunset each evening. The staff is friendly and the the GM Dennis hosts a Mai Tai pool event with music one night a week. This is our favorite place to stay when visiting Maui!

My wife and I, and my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, stayed a week at the Aston Maui Hill Resort in February, 2023. We had the privilege of staying in Unit 13, a two bedroom condo and it was perfect! First off...we are RCI members and used our timeshare membership to trade for the condo. Due to trading through RCI, sometimes we feel like we get units that are not the greatest in the resorts but hey, we deal with it. NOT THIS TIME! The unit assigned was gorgeous and had a wonderful view of the ocean, mountains and the immaculate grounds. The condo was spotless and well stocked, making cooking in our unit easy. The two issues we had...the TV in the master bedroom did not work correctly when we got there and the washing machine would not spin water out on our first load of towels. Both times that I called the office, there were men knocking within minutes to fix the issues. The tv was a simple as unplugging and plugging it back in (I should have thought of that myself before calling!). The manager, Mr.Costa, called personally to apologize for the inconvenience of the washer not working correctly and it was quickly replaced with a different unit. We really can't give a high enough review for Aston Maui Hill Resort, Mr. Costa, and the staff. Our hope is that we get lucky enough a unit will become available next February when we go back! Again, Thank you Mr. Costa for a great week and GO CHIEFS! :)…

Terrible experience. Property under run and overpriced. Carpets not vacuumed with prior guest hair getting in between your toes, dirty clothing from prior guests left in the drawers, kitchen cabinets filthy, only some dishes were cleaned. No coffee pot for coffee maker. Balconies covered with old carpets, stay wet for few days after larger rains. Balcony chairs with plastic stripes don’t invite for outside use. Batteries for fire alarms are not checked on regular basis. No proper recycling. Benches outside are only provided for smokers next to garbage collection. You may receive Welcome basket. Be aware that bag of nuts maybe old and smelly. Personnel is nice and tries to deal with issues but they are probably underpaid.

As we are constantly striving to improve on guest satisfaction, we appreciate any and all feedback from our guests. Allow me to personally apologize should your stay have fallen short of your expectations; this is far from the usual service we provide and pride ourselves on. I only wish I had been made aware of your concerns during your stay here and I would have addressed them immediately to your satisfaction. However, there is no excuse for the units to be anything less than immaculate and clean to provide a positive and welcoming first impression upon check-in; I will be escalating your comments to our Executive Housekeeper for follow-up. I would like to address some of your other concerns brought forward. We do have recycling bins provided around the property as per the recycling services available on the island. Unfortunately, although Kihei is the dryer side of the island, we did have unusually heavy rains during your stay and the lanai carpets do get wet; this is part of living in a tropical paradise. I can assure you that safety of our guests is paramount, and as such, we do have regularly scheduled fire inspection on our property. I am pleased to hear that you found our staff friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and we hope that you were able to enjoy the rest of your stay on Maui. We would welcome the opportunity to have you stay with us again to restore your faith in our property. We stayed with 7 people in a 3-bedroom unit and it was perfect for our needs. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. Honestly wouldn’t have changed a thing. We enjoyed the pool and the easy walk to the beach across the street. Having 3 bathrooms was fabulous so we could all quickly cleanup after a day at the beach. All in all a really great trip for our family. The manager even helped us with a late checkout on our last day. We would definitely stay here again!

We arrived on Maui and our first night was spent in a very low class place (We booked a condo and got a run down motel room with no amenities). When I researched a few places, most were booked or very out of our price range. I ended up calling Maui Hill. The desk staff person told me she didn't see anything available, but transfered me to the manager, Dennis. I left a message for him and got a prompt call back. He was able to find us a great spacious 1 bedroom condo for the rest of our stay. His sprinkle of pixie dust worked like magic! I really appreciated Maui Hill and Dennis for being able to accommodate us. Saved our vacation! Thank you!

Dennis and his staff outdid themselves again! We can’t thank them enough. This is an amazing property in the perfect location! Close to beautiful beaches and great restaurants. You can walk to so many of them. This was our fifth trip to the Aston Maui and while we just left, we are already looking forward to going back!

Good place to stay in Maui, very friendly Staff and very nice enviroment. The hotel have parking without extra cost and it is not very crowded . The apartment are a little bit old but all is in good shape.

The reviews are misleading. The unit we were places in was run down, unclean, outdated, not kept up. Furniture was falling apart (snagged clothes with exposed nails). The carpet was stained. The rooms were stuffy and smelled of mildew. We were unhappy and changed our 5 night reservation to only 1 night after a long day of travel and a late-night arrival. The manager offered to switch us to a different suite but it was clear to us that the entire property left much to be desired. Moved elsewhere on the island to a Westin that was luxurious and clean... and cheaper per night than the Astin Hill would have been. I am sorry it was not a good fit. It is simply in need of a serious renovation and deep cleaning. Not acceptable at all.

We are working with all of our owners to ensure that units are all upgraded to a consistent level to meet industry standards, but it is unacceptable for any of our units to be anything less than immaculate and providing a positive first impression upon check-in.
