I had a pleasant stay here, very nice area, lots of green and flowers in btwn the buildings, wonderful sunset view. Good hotel facilities (breakfast could have been little bit more). Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice stay nesr khiei. Nice sunset and walk next to the beach. The beach in front of the hotel is good. Area with restaurants and shops. Free parking at hotel and they offer towels fornthe beach and change of them.
We spent the first few nights of our Maui stay here as we wanted to explore the Kihei/Wailea area. Great location, right on the beach. Close to many restaurants as well. Really appreciated the friendly and professional staff - mahalo for a great stay!
Even the worst place in Maui is still Maui and that's all that matters. The Days Inn by Wyndam Maui Oceanfront Hotel is mediocre at best. The rooms are extremely small for the price, double size beds for two adults and a super tiny bathroom. However, the room was clean and had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker which is nice. Also there is complementary breakfast snacks (pre-packaged muffins and fruit) and coffee in the morning. One free juice per guest and 2 snack selections. The front desk staff were mildly friendly but very slow. We waited almost 30 minutes in the lobby for beach towels while 2 front desk people checked in one guest each. No one even looked up to acknowledge the lobby was filling up with people. I did see a couple of people sitting and visiting in the back that could have at least come to the front to see what people needed. Finally we just left and took our white room towels to the beach. We went back later in the evening to get beach towels so we could take showers. They are very protective of their beach towels warning that we would be charged if we left them in the room and didn't bring them back to the front desk. The best part is the hotels location and that you are a short walking distance to the beach. But again, no easy access to beach towels or chair rentals available. The rinse off station by the beach was broken so we unavoidably had sand in our room. The air conditioner in the room was very loud so we finally just turned it off and slept without. You could hear every step of the people above us and I don't see how they could be walking around so much in such a small room. Also, I suppose they can't do much about the 4am chicken wake up call since there are chickens everywhere but the previous resort we stayed at for 6 days didn't have these issues. Due to flight changes we had to find another resort for one night to move to last minute but this is definitely a hotel I won't seek out under normal circumstances. The sad thing is they could do some much better with only a little extra customer service. Just be kind, pay attention and don't treat guests like potential towel thieves. …
Good location, very tiny rooms, lousy internet. Staff was very careful to clean and sanitize regularly. This facility needs to upgrade it's intenet asap. I got better internet service on the beach than I did in my room.
Near restaurants and shops, has direct access to the beach, offers free beach towel rentals, has ample parking, very nice front desk staff, and free grab-and-go snacks for breakfast. It didn't bother me, but noting for people who care that the bathroom was very small, there was a musty smell throughout the entire room, and it was easy to hear the neighbors.
Right on a prime stretch of beach in Kihei. Plus, they provide beach towels free of charge. You can refresh beach towels whenever you like. Great hotel, friendly staff, beautiful location, would recommend
Pics of rooms online was very deceiving. The rooms were clean but so incredibly small for two adults. I was disappointed. Staff was super nice and the location to the beach was great. Would not recommend or stay here again
I enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn Maui. My favorite thing was the access to the beach. I enjoyed being able to walk a few steps to the beach. I liked the free parking. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Writing this from a small, dark, bleak, viewless cupboard..aka a queen room. Priced at 4x a decent uk travel lodge room but without the charm. Particularly liked the cheek of the reception person to tell us that we can have a free water as part of a complementary breakfast for people checking out early in the morning..but only if we leave after 6am, not if we leave at 5.45am. Glad we're only staying for one sleepless night of me contemplating how I had been suckered into this.
