The place to stay when visiting Hana! We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a room with a hot tub! The views were amazing and it being whale season we saw off our balcony many whales jumping out in the ocean. We loved the facilities- the pool was so the perfect temperature and the views are unbeatable. We would def stay again.
You drive an amazing route to get to Hana, only to find this 5star resort underwhelming, guest activities cancelled or closed and the restaurant service mediocre. Guess you can afford to be like this when youre the only hotel in town.
I don't remember the last time I was as relaxed as I was while staying at the Hana-Maui Resort. The drive is pretty intense but so worth it. The staff were all so incredibly friendly and helpful. The property is just beautiful and so peaceful. We stayed in an oceanfront bungalow that was recently renovated and it was stunning. The bed was comfy, the decor was so aesthetically pleasing, the bathroom was clean and spacious. The property is so well kept, clean, and serene. I wish the hot tub was available for all guests, (you could only use it if you had an appointment at the spa), but the pool area is still very relaxing and I just used the tub in my room to relax in. It was nice staying in Hana because we beat the crowds to all the iconic hiking spots and beaches and were able to enjoy the resort in the afternoon. I would definitely highly recommend staying here!…
Great experience! Welcoming and very attentive staff. Grounds are exceptionally well maintained. Views are fantastic. The drive to Hana is also an experience in itself. I highly recommend making the effort to make this destination part of your Hawaii vacation!
We planned to stay just one night at this amazing looking location as an end to the Road to Hana experience. We found the location to be stunning and the sunrise over the ocean was well worth getting up for. The accommodation was very pleasent, and the view of the ocean lovely, however things like low water pressure in the shower (no rain shower which was sad as this is a 4.5 star resort. We wanted to use the great looking fitness centre but it was closed(!) we were not told this when we checked in. The evening meal was average, as was the service but the prices definitely were not. A meal for two set us back $180. In summary this is a wonderful setting which promises so much but is let down by facilities that aren't open and pricing that offers poor value for money.
We stayed just one night as a way to spend more time with the "Road to Hana", and it ended up being the best part of our vacation. The grounds are true "Hawaiian" gorgeous and the swimming pools are excellent.
Property is gorgeous but be prepared that everything closes early. Rooms have no kitchenettes, no hot tub, no gym, no tv's, no access to cooking food for yourself, fridge is very small, terrible coffee machine, hotel food is not memorable..for the price you do not get much.
We stayed 2 nights and wish we can stay longer. Beautiful resort and highly recommend Ocean Front Bungalow Premium suite if you can splurge. There is a shortcut that you can walk to the food truck and we love the delicious Thai food.
Loved this experience! Place was beautiful, clean, we were well served and all of the staff were excellent. As far as value, we had a great experience and feel while the price was probably about on par with the island prices, at $1000 a night after taxes and fees, and given the limited options on the resort, we have had much better value for the $$ in other places.
I was impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the beauty of the resort. I did not want to leave! Everything from the bar service at the pool to the breakfast was exceptional. The staff seemed to feel truly blessed to work there.
