Front Desk Representatives were friendly, however at check-in while handing over my keys the employee practically yelled my room number to me. There were at least 4 other guests standing within ear shot. As a young woman traveling alone, this made me very uneasy for the remainder of my stay. I found this action as a violation of my privacy. I heard the other staff member say another guest’s room number out loud as well, so I am sure this is common practice for the staff. I stayed in a single King bed room. The layout was nice but the cleanliness was not up to par. I noticed the splattered mirror upon entering the room but thought nothing of it, simple miss by the housekeeping staff. Then, as I pulled the night stand out to use the power outlet, I found a bag of half eaten gummy bears. After this find, I decided to check the rest of the room.. I found socks, crumbs, loose pills, and even a bottle of filmy water beneath the bed. Dirt and crumbs in each of the three dresser drawers. Candy wrappers in one of the waste baskets. THICK layers of dust practically everywhere and pee spots on the toilet. Luckily, there was no sight of bed bugs! Seeing as my company booked and paid for this one night stay, I decided to stay quiet but document my experience. I have heard good things about this property from my coworkers who have previously stayed. I am hoping my experience is different from others and just a fluke… perhaps staff will see this review and make some changes to every day practices. I personally will not stay again. I will drive the 90 minute commute instead.

Came back to La crosse for one of our first trips after covid. we used to stay here a lot when it first opened up not that long ago. It just isn't what it used to be. It looked tired and in need of spusing up. Frankly we were disappionted in our room. We could not get the coffemaker to work. The sink would not drain. The springs in the upostered chair were shot. There was no tissues and we had to ration what little tiolet paper we had for two days. altough the room was clean, there were other things that bothered us about the room in general. On the pus side, that had the best breakfast we've had at a hotel in years . Very good. They should really look into freshening there rooms and make sure things are ready for guests to stay their.

Very nice overall quality of the facility, but if you trust what the CDC says about Covid19, then stay away. No masks on staff. No social distancing. No masks required at all anytime. Crowded and unmasked. We hated it. Felt like being in the middle of a super spreader event.

The staff was great and responded to problems immediately but when spending more than $200 for the night, I expect the bathroom sink drain not to be clogged and there to be bath towels in the bathroom. The inside of the shower curtain has mold on it and it looked like a past guest had possibly been sick near the toilet with residue remaining on the the wall. While the cleanliness is unacceptable in "normal" times, we felt all the more uncomfortable in these COVID times. We experienced great difficulty finding a room in La Crosse on this particular weekend and were charged near double the advertised priced. I know it's supply and demand but this is not a $200.00 night room - a poor value.

For 200$ a night I expect the room to be clean - as you can see it's dusty as heck. Although coffee is supposed to be available in the lounge 24/7, it's pods, and there are only decaf pods, and it stays that way until....forever. The very worst, though? There were campers and boats )parked long-ways) taking up 20 parking spaces, and there was nowhere to park. Guests? Bar patrons? Who knows, but according to the desk clerk, they're not supposed to park like that but she can't do anything about it. Per the clerk, I was to park in Gunderson Healthcare's semi-secluded parking ramp, across the street, at 11 at night and run back to the hotel, and it was not well lit. So that's what you get for 200$ - dust, decaf pods, and bullsh*t parking. Safety and cleanliness are not priorities here.
