We were part of a wedding party and were greeted with the most exceptional service by Julia at the front desk on Sunday Sept 5 in the afternoon. She made sure we could check in early to prepare for all the events that day. Thank you Julia for going above and beyond during our stay!!!
That lack of professionalism of the general manager on duty at the front desk of the Westin Milwaukee was not what I would think we would ever have to experience at a Westin. We only questioned why we did not receive towels after asking twice and not receiving them and his defensive response and actions were uncalled for.
Best valet ever! I had a blast! My car got delivered and it was in perfect condition also I’m typing this because I have to fit 200 characters but I had so much fun also bucks in 6 also go giannis also go aaron rodgers
It would have been fun to have all of the out of town guests from my daughter’s wedding at the Westin. BUT THEY NEVER CALLED ME BACK when I called and e-mailed about a room block. Perhaps business is too good, and to my don’t need to sell any more room nights. Perhaps all the group sales representatives quit and went to work somewhere else. Perhaps. Alas, the out of town folks will be housed somewhere other than the Milwaukee Westin.
Upon arrival The Westin looks beautiful. It is easy to navigate to and everything was well laid out. When we arrived we had to wait 5 minutes for the valet as he was getting someone’s car. Friday morning there was only one person on staff as well. There were other people waiting and/or confused if someone would be back so it seemed like another staff member could’ve been helpful. Check in was fast. The gentlemen at the front desk was very welcoming. We had a double queen on the 7th floor. We got in late so we just had dinner at the hotel. The on-site restaurant, Stella, has a very limited menu. With that said our food was pretty good. My daughter and I had the spaghetti with meatballs (average but overpriced at $21/plate) and my other daughter had the filet. Our waitress was phenomenal though. She was so engaging and attentive. The hotel room looked nice and clean at first glance. However, the first morning we noticed stains on the carpet, stains or splatters on the bed skirt and the bathroom door seal was completely off. Later my daughter asked me what American Spirits were. I had no idea why until she pointed at a pack at the corner of the bed. The lack of cleanliness was definitely off putting especially during COVID. I was half tempted to see if we could check out that morning but with the Bucks and Brewers there wasn’t much available. The hotel was sold out Friday night so there was no option to switch rooms. There was also no daily housekeeping still but they were prompt when requesting additional towels. The beds were comfortable and the hotel staff were excellent. They offer breakfast on the weekends but my husband said it was a buffet of scrambled eggs and bacon. We decided to walk to Sweetdiner which was amazing. It’s about 1/2 mile away. The mini fridge in the room did not get cold so don’t expect to keep food in the room. For $500/night we expected a lot more. We wanted to try the Westin since we usually stay at the Pfister but were disappointed with our stay.…
