This was one of my very worse RV Park experience. The bathrooms were so toxic they were unusable. The site had water, after uncovering the faucet covered in leaves and debris. In fairness the website does say this, no sewers and no WiFi. The Cellular Service,at least for T-Mobile was nonexistent.

We needed a place to camp close to Cascade Locks. RV park was quaint and rustic on surface. We felt permanent residents brought down appearance of park. This seemed to be more of a residence park then campground. Bathrooms were out dated if you needed to use them- we just usually use our RV so wasn't an issue for us. Not sure if there were park rules but no quiet time was enforced. Neighbors partied into early hours. This park has a lot of potential- in a beautiful location.

This is a very strange place, grounds are clean but management is very rude. Could be due to the smell of burning marijuana and beer. Grounds crew tend to be mean and one walks the grounds at night and claims to be the fire department. Unlikely as he is dirty and red eyed. Noticed several unkept women wandering around with pink and/or blue hair, yelling at a young child who ignored them. The creek/stream bed was dry, the near by hot spring has been turned into a drug rehab center. We wanted to swim but there are no swim areas, banks of the Columbia River are too rocky to be safe. The only shopping in the area consists of a Chevron and a Marijuana store. Not a family friendly area at all. Only plus'es are a near by Golf course and Beacon rock.
Cross the river to Cascade Locks, much nicer with a lot of fun things to do.

0 customer service. My family and I paid the extra $25 fee at time of reservation so they would not move our site. Within the 7 day no cancellation period they called and moved our site from back by the river to up front by the train. They were the only willing to refund the $25 moving fee and kept the $100 deposit because it was within the 7 days. Schedule at your own risk.

They state there under new management, need to look for someone else. The RV park states they are a clean place, garbage and filth everywhere. We stayed at a tent site for one night, 2 hours
If sleep, traffic in and out of camp site zero, drug deals, drug use and heavy drinking , to name a few other things going on. 10 cars in total pasted in and out. Park rules state quiet time starting at 10:00. No enforcement. They also don’t tell at time of reservation the train travels by every hour and ten minutes. Law enforcement had to be called around midnight for a screaming child. Don’t waste you time or money in this terrible excuse for an RV Park.

The long-term residents here are frightening to say the least. But lets give them the benefit of the doubt. The facility itself has seen better days. The founder died in 2010. He probably kept it up, but those who run it now seem to be doing a terrible job. The main clubhouse was filled with junk and unusable. The only mens restroom was closed until further notice and we were instructed to use the womens. That room was filthy, with obvious neglect. The only shower available for the 100+ campsites was coin operated ($.50@3-min).

Their website makes this place look and sound great, but don’t be fooled. I’m not sure who is running this place but they aren’t doing their job. Bathrooms are filthy, they weren’t cleaned the entire three-day weekend we stayed there. Ants and spiders crawling all over the bathroom. I reluctantly took a shower ($2.00 for six minutes) only because we had been hiking for two days and really needed one. There was a huge clump of hair covering the drain, and no working fan that I noticed so it gets super muggy in there. Needless to say, I was not impressed. I would have rather been in a campground with no facilities.

Do not waste your time or money here.

Poorly maintained, no mgmt on site over weekends, drunken campers kept whole camp awake AND dragged 4 and 6 ft tree stumps, poured gas on them and lit them, outside firepit near trees!! NO ONE HERE BUT US OTHER CAMPERS TO CONTROL SITUATIONS THAT ARE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY! 😠

BATHROOMS LOCKED 9PM TO 9AM?? WTH! What campground CLOSES their bathrooms all night?? Children and older adults can't wait all that time to use facilities.
Porta potties supplied were disgusting, full, and all up near front of park, where before they had been conveniently scattered throughout.

AND ALL THIS FOR A MERE 50 BUCKS A NIGHT!!

WONDERED WHY WE WERE ABLE TO GET A SPOT MID-SUMMER!😆😳😭

On top of all that (oh and there's more!) the phone number listed for emergencies goes to ONLY voicemail??

SHAME REALLY, very pretty area. They've made staying here a nightmare,

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

i have to say.there is not trash everywhere.there is a train but everybody knows theres a train in the gorge no matter where you go.when it is a full park the quiet time is enforced hence the sheriff being there with the manager at midnight.microtrash picked up daily.bathrooms cleaned twice a day.ample space for camping in tent or rv and no traffic to zero because they all came home while sheriff was there.its hard to keep people quiet when there is so many people.i find it a amazing place but thats just my opinion.

I found this park on line and called for a reservation. The manager was friendly, booked a site and offered clear instructions for after hours check in. Upon arrival and set up we discovered the power did not work at our site. We packed as if we had power so we carried our air mattress across the road and used power from an empty spot to blow it up. We considered moving sites but were already set up. The next day a pipe burst at one of the sites so the water was shut off, the alternative port a potty smelled horrible (understandable given the warmth of the day). Our air mattress was flat and did not feel taking everything apart and carrying it across the road again. We did not have enough water to clean up after a long day of hiking and exploring the Gorge and Hood River area. With sheer frustration we packed up and drove to Hood River where we were very lucky to find a motel room for an outrageous amount of money on top of forfeiting our money for the site. I think the managers are kind and work hard but simply may be in over their head on this park.
