We stayed in Mount Hood had no clue what to expect had never been to this part of the country. It is perfection from the moment you drive in you have cards to help you get your luggage to your room, the Landscaping is beautiful the rooms have more detail than I can go into. The jacuzzi tub and the shower had enough hot water and we're so relaxing after a Long Day's hike. The owners were kind enough to make our breakfast to go so we could hit the trails early and experience the best of Carson City and parts of Oregon. Idyllic and calming you transport and forget about any stress. Fresh cookies at night snacks in your room it is luxury at its best

We stayed here, in the fishing creel cabin, last weekend for my husband's birthday. It was a perfect weekend away and a perfect place to stay. The cabin was so cozy with a large comfortable bed, comfortable chairs, and a jetted tub - just to name a few. They offer wine to enjoy in the cabin and movies to watch together. The details for decoration and comfort are top notch. We chose to have breakfast delivered to our room and it came in a basket with a whole setup of dishes, salt, pepper, napkins, etc. to enjoy in our cabin and it was absolutely delicious both mornings. My husband talked to Richard when he delivered it and Richard was very kind. We met Theresa when we were checking out and she was very nice as well. I highly recommend staying here. We loved it and will be staying again. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

This was the last stay of a 2 week road trip and definitely the best! This was the cleanest property I have ever stayed in and my husband who has traveled extensively stated that "They have thought of everything!" The grounds are meticulously landscaped and maintained. The owners, Richard and Theresa, are delightful and went above and beyond in fishing for my glasses after I accidently flushed them down the toilet! The breakfasts were amazing and all of the staff were wonderful! We were traveling with our dog and they were most accommodating. I must say that I am typically not a bed and breakfast person, but this is not to be missed!

I don't even know where to begin. Entering the property we felt like we were in our own little world. The attention to the property detail was nothing I had ever seen before except maybe the Wilderness Lodge at Disney World. In saying this, the comparison is to the attention to the detail of the grounds. From the walking paths to the landscaping, to the placement of the cabins and the view from every cabin, priceless. The grounds are simply impeccable! Our Mount Adams cabin was beautiful. No detail was left unturned. There is wine in the room (Honor system), games and popcorn with the movie box container so you could take it to your porch swing or to the fire pits on the property. And how can I forget the oh so luxurious bedsheets. Every morning we sat on the porch drinking our coffee and consuming the most exquisite breakfast (Prepared by Richard and Theresa) that was delivered to our cabin. Our hosts, Richard and Theresa were so so gracious. We started off our trip here and now wish we would have made this the end of our trip. So relaxing and peaceful! The perfect touch to end any vacation. We will be returning to Carson Ridge Luxury cabins for a vacation again soon! We look forward to the expansion of the additional cabins and can't wait for the restaurant and spa addition in the near future. Thank you again for such a wonderful stay!

These cabins are a perfect get away. It's rare to find something that feels so remote while still having some many amenities. The cabins are expertly appointed. It would be easy to just spend your time in your cabin and not even wander out and explore all the Columbia Gorge has to offer.

Stevenson and Hood River are a short drive and lots to waterfalls near by to explore. Check out Panther Creek Falls that was a new waterfall for us. A short drive and very short walk down to the falls.

Breakfast delivered to your cabin in a picnic basket starts the day out on a special note. Also, Backwoods Brewing Company is quick walk across the street which is incredibly convenient for grabbing a bit to eat or bringing it back to your cabin.

The owners Theresa and Richard are very friendly and personable. They have put a lot of thought into what makes a stay special and worked to include those features into the property and their services.

We will definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

What a hidden gem! The entire property is beautifully landscaped and charming. The cabins are luxurious. Breakfast is delicious! And the hosts are so nice and helpful. The location is perfect -- 25 minutes from the historic waterfall area in one direction and 25 minutes from the town of Hood River in the other direction. My husband and I stayed in the Green Leaf Cabin. I loved sitting out on our little porch with the view of the meadow. And we felt very comfortable and pampered, taking full advantage of the fireplace, bath robes, bath salts, bath jets, etc.

We were excited to escape real life for a bit and cozy up in one of these private cabins, which offer whatever you need for a relaxing getaway. The hardest choice we had to make on a crisp fall day was whether to linger over a delicious and filling breakfast and enjoy the fireplace, or get out and explore a variety of outdoor activities. Theresa and Rick couldn't be more accommodating, and they have created a true oasis inside and out. Cabins are clean, thoughtfully appointed, and comfortable. We enjoyed exploring AND hanging out, doing the latter with a glass of wine around the fire pit. Serious and casual hikers will find trails galore in the surrounding region, while less adventurous strollers can enjoy the expansive grounds right outside your door. We found the location to be quite central to the things we wanted to do, and discovered other options we hadn't known about. Our dog Pepper was glad to accompany us in one of the two available pet-friendly cabins. Our adventures tired her out enough that she let us sleep in an extra hour each morning -- an unexpected and entirely welcome treat, especially in that bed! Seeing as it's not practical for us to actually live at Carson Ridge Luxury Cabins, we'll have to settle for returning often.

We had such a wonderful anniversary trip at the Carson Ridge Cabins. We stayed in the spacious and gorgeously decorated Bears Den and had a beautiful view of the gardens from our private front porch. We loved walking the trails on the property and stargazing from the hammocks in the evening. We rented several awesome movies from the office and enjoyed soaking in the large jetted tub, the Lavender bath salts were INCREDIBLE. Breakfast was likely our favorite part of our trip, delivered each morning in a beautiful basket of goodness... we enjoyed lemon ricotta waffles, a perfectly warm and delicious raspberry coffee cake, honey yogurt with granola, sweet potato hash with Italian sausage, and huevos rancheros with an absolutely delectable green chili sauce. We visited the shops in Hood River on our trip and also spent a day on the Fruit loop, picking Lavender, slurping marionberry milkshakes, and marveling at the many, many varieties of apples and pears! It was a perfect, romantic getaway and we can't wait to visit again some day.

Been working long hours and my Boyfriend and I needed to get away and spend some quality time together.Could not find anything available for the weekend at the Air B&B at all the places I was interested in, so I decided to perform a search on Google when their link popped up! The 3hour trip was so worthwhile as we both got to see the Colombia river gorge along the way which was Breathing takingly beautiful I must say. We arrived at the Cabins an hour earlier than expected as check-in was scheduled for 3pm. Needless to say Teresa was already expecting us and checked us in immediately which was awesome as it was rainy. We got to spend the night at the Bear Cabin which was really beautiful, and cosy not to mention the wooden King size bed which is a pure work of art. Breakfast was served in the patio, freshly done with to die for waffles😊. Am a foodie and a cook so when I tell you this waffles are special.. then you better believe me . Teresa and Richard were awesome hosts and gave us recommendations for places we can order our dinner as they only serve Breakfast but you can have deliveries or drive around the small beautiful town and grab something . I am so glad I settled for this Getaway Gem. The sights around are just too Beautiful , it's situated in a Lush green area with views if the mountains and nearby picturesque waterfalls. If you are a fan of good wine , they have quite a good selection in their cellar as well . If you are looking for a place away from home, then look no further . Carson's Ridge luxury cabins is definitely a 10 for me .

Long hours seem to be the way of life this last year and it's the only excuse I have for not replying to your review sooner! Thank you so very much for choosing to drive 3 hours to our property to rejuvenate and rest up! Hurray for my staff who helps clean those cabins and ensures they're ready before check in time! Richard and I are still enjoying cooking breakfast together so we can serve up delicious food everyday... And yes, he is still fishing for as many compliments as possible on his cooking. I still find it endearing, :). Be well and we hope to see you two again!

Actually, we have one cabin, Knotty Pine, that has an electric stove and kitchen sink. We plan to remove it in the future, but for now it's usable.

Sandy J, my wife is a vegetarian as well. Just let Theresa, the owner, know the night before of any restrictions you have with meals. The owners are very accommodating and will help in anyway. Keep in mind they only serve breakfast. We found a small cafe (bar) in Stevenson, just a few miles from Carson Ridge called The Big River Cafe which has great food and vegetarian options. You might want check them for dining options.

All of our cabins have 1 bed, in most cases it's a King bed. 2 of our cabins do have a Queen bed but none of our cabins currently have 2 beds. It would be our pleasure to welcome you. Kind regards Pete
