Firstly, thank you so much for our first holiday as a family of 3. We took our 11 month old baby and she absolutely loved it. Even though it’s quite chilly at night we had lovely warm bedding so we didn’t feel the cold and a very comfy bed! The staff were all so friendly, special shout out to Harry who made us feel very welcome and was really helpful! We loved the location, deep in countryside but the high street was really near so eating out etc wasn’t a problem. Lots of activities to do near surrounding area for us so we never had a problem filling our days with a baby. Toilets were spotless and very luxury with hot showers and heated towel rails, yes please to this at 7.30am on a Misty morning! Finally, the breakfast! You MUST book this. It was honestly the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection, you will enjoy a wonderful cooked breakfast (other options available) we felt like royalty eating it! Thank you! We will return x

Came here for a local getaway and was not disappointed, had a call before our stay with Courtney who answered all our questions and made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. the farm provide you with everything you need including marshmallows and even have a cute shop with some nick nacks (although could do with more snacks as the closest shop isn't walking distance). all the staff were friendly and Courtney even came to the tent in the evening to check we were happy and enjoying ourselves which was a nice touch. will defiantly be back again

So this was our first visit and we will DEFINITELY be returning! Family of 4 (2 adults, 12yo and 8yo) and we stayed in a yurt for 5 days. The setting is idyllic, our plot was spacious, our yurt was generously proportioned for all of us with plenty of room for all our stuff and even a set of drawers! The communal barn was a real bonus and well used. With everything you need there for you including tea/coffee, fridge/freezers, microwaves, hobs and even all the cookware and utensils you could possibly need! The chill out area had plug sockets for charging our phones and comfy sofas to just chill out in. Alice and the team made us very welcome and were so accommodating putting the showers on at our request one evening after a long day out. Cannot thank you guys enough, but thank you!x

Our first family glamping visit to Home Farm saw us receive a lovely warm welcome from the team and tents that were very clean and modern with amazingly warm and comfortable beds. Unfortunately the on site amenities such as the barn with games needs attention and while the on site cafe food was delicious the picnic tables and scruffy gazebo eating area also need attention. Kids loved it. Grown up’s feel it needs a little TLC.

Dear Ashley Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed the tents and had a comfortable nights sleep, and that your kids loved their time with us. It is always helpful for us to receive feedback so that we can continue to improve our business. We are a rustic site, and the unpredictable weather this summer has made keeping on top of our maintenance programme more of a challenge than usual, but we are always improving our facilities so appreciate the feedback on the barn. We have just submitted a planning application to convert one of the lovely Victorian barns adjacent to the cafe tent into a proper permanent cafe as we agree that the quality of the food deserves a better setting! Hopefully by the time you next stay with us we'll have a more stylish area for you to eat in. Hope to see you again soon, Jess and the HFG team.
