My fiance and I stayed at Youngwoods Farm last weekend and we thoroughly recommend staying there. The farm is situated in a beautiful part of the island, tucked away from the road and set in stunning countryside with fabulous views. The house is full of charm and character, and the owners could not have been more welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast utterly delicious and there is good wifi connection. Overall it was an excellent experience and we recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxed place to stay.

My wife and I both enjoyed staying at Youngwood's Farm very much. The house is a 13th Century farmhouse which has been carefully restored. The room was most comfortable and quiet and the breakfasts were delicious. Our hosts were charming and most hospitable. If we visit the island again we shall stay there again.

An idyllic location on the island, this is a charming farmhouse with plenty of character. The owners are lovely, very helpful and knowledgeable about the island. Beds are comfortable, rooms clean and warm, excellent shower and delicious breakfast. What more could you want? I would definitely recommend staying here! There is also free fast wifi!

My girlfriend booked this B&B and we paid £136 for 2 nights in the Pink Room.

There were no reviews anywhere on the Internet and the website made it look charming. Unfortunately the location was in the middle of nowhere down a dirt-track road and this made taxi's quite expensive. The lock on the door did not work, it was not very clean / very old, the room felt like somebody's spare room full or ornaments and trinkets. The owners seemed nice enough but we did not appreciate being told that we were not allowed a taxi number as one of us could refrain from having a drink and drive ourselves out for the night.

Overall we were quite upset and did not enjoy staying there, but every other hotel / B&B on the island had been booked, so had little choice.

An isolated farm, 4 miles from Newport, with a fabulous garden and nature property around it. There is no public transport, so you need a car of (like we did) hire some bikes. The roads are windy and the isle of Wight is NOT FLAT. So you have to have quit a condition to bike the roads.
Beautifull setting, very nice lady Judith that has three important rules for a good B&B:
clean room, good bed, nice breakfast. And she makes it all come true.
It was a very nice stay at the Youngwoods Farm, for three nights.

Our third stay. Not your run of the mill B&B. Lovely couple who run it make you very welcome. More like staying with friends. A bit quirky and great. Fabulous breakfast. We will be back again next year.

If you like tacky pictures on the walls, and artificial air fresheners, this isn't for you.
Youngwoods farm is nestling in fields,in the middle of beautiful countryside. Peacefully quiet, with great views of the central downs in one direction, and as far as the coast in another.Red squirrels have been seen in the garden, and there are barn owls, little owls and buzzards around, plus many other birds.
The house is spacious, with a warm, homely decor. The rooms comfortable and clean, and the breakfasts delicious. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and considerate, and always willing to give advice and help when asked.
We really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it to anyone who values the countryside and a friendly comfortable base from which to explore the many delights of the Isle of Wight.

Located somewhat off the beaten track, this is a warm and friendly spot to stay whilst touring the Isle of Wight, the hosts are truly welcoming and on hand to offer practical local advice on what to see and do, not to mention a fantastic breakfast served in the lovely dining room.

This is a traditional bed and breakfast in a warm and welcoming somewhat old fashioned farm house home, but the decor suits the hosue greatly, very close to Cowes and Newport but a car is needed to get to and from the house

This is a property that will not suit everyone. We stayed here as part of our round the island walk as Judith accepts dogs and there was a paucity in this part of the island.
The setting is lovely, peaceful and quite, quite remote and active bird feeders in the garden to watch from the window of our room.
The room décor is not going to be to everyone's taste. It is really quite dated but more than clean enough for us and we were very comfortable.

Judith kindly ran us to the pub and picked us up again as there is not a lot in easy walking distance if the evening are drawing in.

The breakfast was lovely, especially the home made jams and jellys. We would stay again.

My friend and I stayed here when going to the IOW festival. It is a little out of the way - but once we'd figured out the travel options we were glad we were out of the way. Set in the countryside this quaint restored farm house has a very peaceful feel to it. The owners were so hospitable it was almost as if we were visiting family. Delicious breakfast with a variety of options available.
We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful retreat with the option of exploring the island (30 min walk to nearest bus stop or taxi's reasonably priced and very friendly).
