Friendly, warm welcome after a long drive from Derby/Nottingham. Myself, husband and dear friend Avril thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Certainly a quirky place, as another holiday maker put, but that made it all the more fun. Recycling throughout adds to the charm of the place. 3 bathing areas and downstairs bedroom having it's own little sink meant a quick getaway to see the rest of the island come morning. That's unless you prefer the tranquillity of the secret garden up behind the cottage with it's far reaching view plus bench in which to read or dream the day away in peace listening to bird calls all around. We'll be back.

We stayed in the Granary this visit .. 5 years ago we stayed in the Dairy. Both are beautiful. The accommodation is fantastic, warm and big. Fitted out with everything we needed for our stay. The Granary has a wonderful garden room that hosted 12 people easily.
There is an indoor games room for kids/teens to enjoy, and an antique shop close by that is great for meandering around.
We loved our stay in both the Dairy and the Granary and hope to return some day.

The cottage we stayed in was very comfortable and perfect for our family of 8 (my mum and aunt, myself my husband and our 4 children). The dining room table was big enough to fit us all. The front room had a great selection of books, games and DVDs, it was a cosy fit for us all but fine. There were 3 bathrooms between us in the cottage and another toilet in the our building with the washing machine. There was also a small info smoking area in a summer house and the BBQ looked great but we didn't visit in the right season to make use of it.

The cottages are run by a lovely couple who also run the antiques shop and campsite.

The pictures are the view from the master bedroom across the farmyard and of the kids playing in the games room.
