I just love this hotel, I ve been doing our holidays in the last years only at Caesar Augustus or Augustus as part of the same grup of hotels. Food is delicious, always plenty of options, staff at reception always friendly, chambermaids and staff from restaurant and bar always on move and give a quality service.Location is perfect, you have a lot of options to visit Salou, Taragona6, Reus and Barcelona. I always come back there for our summer holidays in Spain ♥️🇪🇸

It’s a wonderful place for a family holiday. Friendly staff, top-notch service. The food is very varied for all tastes. The beach is very close, 4 minutes from the hotel. All the necessary grocery stores and supermarkets are within walking distance.

I came here recently on a trip with my friends on a short holiday. We weren’t expecting much from this hotel at all. The breakfast food buffet was really good but the dinner was hit and miss. It is right in the centre of Salou which is good but a 2 hour bus journey into the centre of Barcelona. It was very clean and staff were always helpful. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you want somewhere to eat and sleep for a few days.

Stayed one night here last year at start of our holiday in Salou due to better flight options. Reception and foyer well maintained. Room was basic but clean. Only had breakfast as we were passing through but buffet was nice and plentiful. Didn't use the pool but it looked quiet and well kept. Anyone staying here is going to be spending day out at beach or close by. It's a basic well kept 3 star hotel that's reflected in the price. If you just want a bed for a few nights in a great location, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Train didn't disturb as others said and no issues with excessive noise

Public areas in hotel and restaurant are light and airy.We had half board and breakfast and dinner were good a fair selection of food and I would say there was food to suit most people.Bedrooms are adequately furnished, but a major problem is the lack of sound proofing between rooms,we could actually hear our neighbors in the next room having a conversation or when in the bathroom the people in the room above.Would we stay here again probably if we had a room at front of hotel away from train line that runs at the back of hotel.Staff were all very good friendly.

Well after a two hour bus journey from Barcelona we arrived at the hotel,The hotel reception area is modern and clean and bright.Thats where it ends,We where given room 240,The lifts are small and slow, you'd fit no more then 4 people in them without luggage. Our room was facing the back of the hotel,so our view was the hotel car park and train line.Room was small with double bed that extend out for two single beds for the kids. This left no room to get to the wardrobe. There was a safe with no lock in it,so unable to use, mini fridge that you had to pay 1.50 per day to use.Room was dated, beds tables bathroom all needed total refurbishment.Dust in the wardrobe. On first day of house cleaning the bed sheets where not changed. This continued for 5 days until they eventually changed them on day 6. Towels where a luxury,3 given each day for a family of 4 Breakfast time was a cattle market. The food cold, orange juice like drinking a class of sugar, Coffee cold. All in all horrible. We went to a lovely place in Salou over looking the beach for breakfast for the reminder of our stay. My advice is don't eat here, the food very disappointing. The hotel needs to close down and have a total make over.

After reading the reviews before I actually went I was a bit worried but I would like to say what a lovely small hotel. For the money (less than £1500) to go there from Gatwick with easyjet during the first week of the summer holidays with myself, my 14 year old daughter and her best friend and get a week full board in the sun in a clean, tidy hotel near to the beach and a bus journey to portadventura Park ( cost 2 euro single ticket) is amazing. Food: breakfast included hot food, pastries, fruit, cereals, hot drinks and juices. Lunch and dinner was a selection of hot food, salad and desserts. The teenagers were happy with just chips, chicken and watermelons - I know teenagers don't appreciate the good food available. Drinks you do have to buy at lunch and dinner. I liked that you could buy a bottle of wine and if you didn't drink it all, you put it in their fridge with your room number label and save it for the next meal setting. Tomas is the most loveliest and friendliest waiter in the restaurant. Pool: The shock I had when I went down the first morning at 10am to see if I could get a sun lounger by the pool ( I'm not one of those silly people who get up early for a longer), there was loads of empty loungers and hardly any people by the pool. You do NOT need to get up earlier to get a lounger. I think as it is close to the beach and also I think most of the Spanish people who stayed in the hotel were going to portadventura Park during the day and come back later afternoon to the pool. WiFi: must mention this as the teenagers used it a lot. We didn't buy the premium wifi just used the free hotel wifi. It worked in our rooms and by the pool which kept the girls happy. Rooms: the rooms were just normal dated Spanish hotel rooms but they were clean and you have enough drawers and hanging space. I would say take an extension lead as we only had one plug in the room. The bathroom was amazing - the floor did NOT get wet when all of us had showers. I know very unheard of in hotels abroad. The actual shower head itself was great, good pressure and didn't dribble- it actually washed the shampoo out of hair. Hairdryer was a standard hairdryer in the bathroom. The train track and car park! Yes we had a room where our room backed onto it. Did it really bother me - not really as wasn't in my room during the day when the trains ran. Trains didn't run at night anyway. The hoots on the trains were annoying first thing at 8am but it was like a alarm call to get my self out of bed to go the breakfast. As a whole, I enjoyed the chilled atmosphere of this hotel. Remember it is only a 3 star hotel - it is kind of like a Spanish travelodge with a pool, sunshine, beach 5 min walk away, shops 2 mins walking distance and great food. It is a hotel with many Spanish people staying which I actually loved as not being able to hear the conversations meant I got to read 5 books and focus on them. The entertainment is okay but if you are looking for somewhere lively, walk into salou which is about a 30 mins walk. I would definitely go back but would take my husband with me as I definitely needed some English conversation (the girls spent most of their time using technology or sleeping). If you want a chilled, quiet hotel but still have the choice to venture to portadventura Park or into salou, go here. If you do go out for the day, you can order a picnic box the night before and collect from the restaurant in the morning. We pre-bought our portadventura tickets from the hotel which made it easier once we got to the park. Thank you to all the staff at Cesar Augustus for a pleasant stay.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days . Although my room was a little dated , it was perfect . Good value for money , great staff and very clean . A lovely pool to. All that was missing was a kettle in the room . Can get a bit noisy as there is a railway behind , but it’s managable . I’d stay here again . There is also a great restaurant which does nice food.
