The O7 Aloe Corralejo hotel is praised for its satisfactory cleanliness and friendly staff, providing reasonable value for money in the eyes of many guests. While the amenities such as pools and dining options generally meet expectations, there are calls for updates and better maintenance.
Some guests find the atmosphere wanting due to dated decor and lackluster entertainment, with room for improvement in the seating arrangements. The hotel's location is seen as slightly off the beaten path, requiring a walk to reach the heart of town, but it remains within proximity to shops and a waterpark.

Ok we arrived home yesterday after a 7 night all inclusive with Jet2 at this hotel. I will post as much as I think you will need to know about the complex and staff in an honest review.
The rooms are very clean but a little tired. The cleaners do a Stirling job as do the restaurant staff a big shout out to Juan he is probably the most helpful and pleasant happy chap you will meet.
The pool is very cold water is clean the filters do look dirty at first glance but it could just be stains. The pool attendant never cleaned the water only took ph levels each morning.
The pool areas were cleaned every morning by the army of cleaners.
Never had problems finding a Sunbed each day however I have put photos on here of the beds which are dangerous and in dire need of upgrading.
The pool sos staff are ok apart from one young lady who every day put the Spanish music on at a ridiculous level you couldn’t hear yourself speak. Numerous guests complained myself included to both her and the reception staff to no avail… in the end many guests turned the boogie box down when she wasn’t around .. hotel management you need to get a grip of this lots of guests were very unhappy.
The food as others have mentioned not much in the way of anything special and a little Luke warm (microwave available lots people using it) but if u like a salad and cheese you will be fine. The puddings are quite nice.
Drink plenty of choice not all included in the all inclusive but acceptable.
Afternoon snacks pre cooked BBQ burgers and sausages are fine.
Would I stay here again possibly not if the improvements are not made. We did pay for the upgrade room but couldn’t see what was actually upgraded. Lastly as my photos will show be careful when they try to charge extra to keep your room for late checkout reception do not know what they advertise on their room TV we were asked to pay €50 to 3pm checkout but price quoted on room TV was €30 till 5pm.
Some photos I have put show where the hotel need to carry out work.
Finally the resort is quite nice when it’s finished it’s a good 20 min walk to the harbour which was quite nice.
Finally the entertainment chap with the sparkly hat is a gem lovely guy

We spent a month at Aloe Club and cannot praise all the staff highly enough. The cleaning Army are “on it” throughout the day and as soon as they see something out of place/dirty it’s sorted out immediately.
The restaurant is amazing with a fantastic choice of food and drinks. The chefs must be very high quality and the staff clear tables of used crockery as soon as you finish a course. Thank you very much to Simone for arranging a decorated table with champagne for our engagement.
I also need to mention the reception staff (Miguel and the German lady) for dealing with anything we needed, and the maintenance staff for repairing a couple of minor things in our room so promptly.
All the staff were friendly, smiling and they all greeted the guests with a “hello”.
I don’t want to miss any of the staff out so thank you to the lifeguards, the repair man replacing walls/paving slabs and the gardener tending the numerous plants and trees around the hotel.
We had a wonderful month at a fantastic hotel and couldn’t have hoped for anywhere better to stay.
Finally, Daniel (Director) I wish that I had the honour to work for you during my working life. You are a true gentleman and a real pleasure to meet. Please try to relax a little in the future and stop taking so many happy pills 😁. Good luck with the triathlons

This review is very late, due to work commitments. We arrived at the aloe club, after another flight delay, six ladies 50+ we were told to go straight to restaurant for something to eat which turned out to be leftovers from dinner, hard bread rolls which i felt were from breakfast limp warm salad and cold meat, not very nice. Infact i was,nt impressed with the food full stop. the only saving grace was they did very nice soup, breakfast was ok.Snack bar was a joke flies on the food and it was,nt a restaurant more like a factory canteen.Staff were polite.Entertainment was the worst ive ever seen. Rooms, are very basic but quite big 2 single beds in bedroom and wardrobe space, sofa bed with a trundle pull out bed, not ideal for our age range, but there,s enough space to accommodate bunk beds? we did,nt have a problem with our room but our family above us were inundated with cockroaches, i know you get these pests in hot countries, but would you like to sleep almost on the floor on the trundle with these running around the floor??. Pools are pretty good with plenty of space for sunbeds.taxis are cheap to town if you have walking problems or a 20 min walk. beach is stunning and cafes reasonable prices. We met a couple who had been coming to this hotel for the last 7 years, they told us this was to be there last and would,nt be coming back due to the cut backs and level of service the hotel now offers. We made the most of it, ate out more than normal, but we would,nt come back to this hotel. One more thing dont go to the market its rubbish, aggresive people selling over priced fake goods, you can buy the same fake goods in the town nicer people and slightly better quality.

Dear suzieQMidlands, We are sincerely grateful for the time you spent to share your comments on your recent stay in our LABRANDA Aloe Club hotel, your detailed review will certainly assist in order to keep on improving the quality of our services for our valued guests. We would like to inform, that our restaurant closes at 21.00 pm. Nevertheless for our late arriving guests we offer a cold dinner facilities, which is of course bit modest than our main dinner. We sincerely regret your disappointment and please rest assured that your comments will be shared with the team so as to avoid receiving this kind of feedback in the future. Once again, we would like to thank you for taking the time to share your impressions regarding your recent stay at our hotel. Just arrived back after a week here and for a three star hotels it’s ok. We had room 114 a nice sized room on the ground floor of the pool so great for the kids to use the pool. Drinks are free flowing from around 10am till 11pm. Snacks are from 330pm from near the pool bar either hot dogs or burgers with toasties served at pool bar. The location is abit out the way but once you find your way it’s a nice walk to the beach or town most nights and you might need it at night(see later in review) There are scooters out the back of the hotel to use which does come in handy(you need to pay via an app)
4 main disappointments for me was the food wasn’t great at all we eat out twice as it repeated a lot and sometimes the food wasn’t great for fussy eaters. I was surprised they don’t have a kids area for food as there was a few children climbing up the main bit as wasn’t their height.
The second bit was the pool and pool area got cleaned in the morning when food and drinks left around at night, the pool had a lot of bits in and needed either better filters or pool vacuum every morning. Third thing is pool area related towels on beds from 7am no one taking them off and people not turning up till 3pm or later to use them.
And the last bit was the entertainment, the entertainment area is poor needs revamping and the poor lady running that, day time stuff and kids club needs a medal, the hotel really needs to invest more into the entertainment and the entertainment program, most of it was watching a film or karaoke.
We managed to eat in la bezza restaurant and that was nice but not much choice and again not for Children. All the staff were very friendly and really good but think they need more staff around.
We had water park included which was also great to have as well. The town is about 25/30 min walk to and you can walk it via the beach as well. When coming out of the hotel we turned left and headed to the beach there and it took about 20 mins past the dunes but be careful of the the kite boarder people in the sea around there.
The room was cleaned every other day which was fine, took 1 day to get extra toilet roll. Safe was €3.50 a day plus €10 deposit. In our room we did have a cooker and fridge. We was all inclusive so no need for cooker( lucky as we had no pots or cutlery) room air con was fine wasn’t powerful but kept us cool in the night.
We had a problem with our premium access as I thought we had it but we hadn’t so had to see jet2 rep who gave it us for last few days as we had booked it but the hotel didn’t have it down. Spa is closed since co vid.
It was a nice relaxing holiday but would I return again I don’t think I would but it was a nice place for the week.

We stayed here over new year. Three adults and a child. I was very impressed to see two heated pools so we could enjoy the water during the winter season. The hotel overall is very clean and high standards maintained. Service at both of the bars was friendly and the waiting staff in the restaurants very efficient. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a kids corner each mealtime full of firm favourites; pasta, nuggets, fish fingers, fries etc. My 4 year old loved the nightly mini disco provided by the kids club reps, and it was great to see children of all nationalities playing together and having fun. The bazar on site was reasonably priced for an onsite hotel shop and staff were friendly and inflated all inflatables you purchased from them. Reception staff very welcoming and friendly offering great advice and helping as much as they could. We took the daily bus to the beach which was nice too.

After my last holiday I was looking forward to this holiday and after arriving here in the canaries fuentaventura even though it might not be spelt correctly, personally I don't give a coronavirus 19. I have had one of the best holidays of all time here at Labranda Aloe Club, ok it maybe basic but the hotel staff are brilliant and good humoured I came on my birthday and they treated me like I was royalty. The reception staff will accommodate you if you have any health problems like C.O.P.D. Emphasyma or similar lung diseases, admittedly there is no lifts but the few stairs are not a problem unless you are in a chair. A couple of holiday-makers I spoke to said it was a shame but not a major upset as there was a couple of ramps that could get you down to the pool area but no lifts in or out of the pools for them!! So we're not for them. The restaurant aptly named LA TRAVIATA like the Opera is okay at first but like all opera's gets reptatative, ok it's buffet style but after seeing people piling there plates up as though they were getting their last meals I was ashamed. The people who were serving us would no doubt be getting less.. anyway the positives about LABRANDA Aloe Club is the Staff very attentive and will cover all your needs, the rooms are cleaned on the 2nd day of your arrival and every day after that such lovely staff. The restaurant Staff are brilliant I wish I could name them all, the bar staff i.e. Eduardo, Marta and the rest of the team like I said I wish I could name them all looked after us all with such care.
Thanks for a great stay Labranda Aloe Club. Will be coming back xxx

The very hard-working staff are what take this hotel up a level. They were always pleasant and friendly.
The buffet restaurant was excellent and it's system for allergy information (allergens are given a number which is put by each meal that has them) made us feel so much more secure.
The location is a little bit out of the main drag, so it's a hike or a taxi to town.
Some of the rooms don't get sun, so if you're looking to get a tan you may have to specify this in your booking.
We really enjoyed our stay there.

We have just come back after two weeks at the Aloe club Resort. I was worried after reading the reviews back in July but needn't have been. It seems that the hotel has taken a hit during the pandemic and is now rebuilding itself as many repairs and improvements could be seen during our stay.
We were greeted on arrival by Rameses, he was very welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay as his local knowledge is extensive. Our premium apartment was spacious and clean. It could do with refurbishment at some point in the near future but we were very happy with it. Our air conditioner broke down during our stay but the engineer did a great job in repairing it.
It is such a beautiful hotel with lovely lagoon style pools and has an almost African look about it with beautiful palm trees. The pools were cleaned every day but the bottom needs repainting and this can't be done in peak season but this didn't spoil the fun us and our children had in them. The water is checked every day and there are at least three cleaners on the poolside each morning.
We really enjoyed the food, there are two restaurants, the main restaurant and the Italian. A few days our children didn't like the food in the main restaurant so we could get pizza or pasta for them from the Italian. As we were premium we used the Italian restaurant on the Al la carte day and this was also nice, we were well served by Cobi. The main restaurant can be very busy so more staff are needed I think but overall it is good, all the staff there work hard and greet you with a smile. The bars are also very good and the drink selection is large especially if you choose to have premium. The staff are also great, Dario, Fernandes, Cobi, Paola, Juan and the man in a chef hat (sorry I didn't get your name) are very creative at making tasty drinks and cocktails and they are always smiling and chatting.
The entertainment was good, the organisation of it improved during our stay. The foam party was amazing! Gustavo works so hard and was good at keeping us all entertained all day, even on his day off. He is our children's hero. The two Weronikas did a great job with kids club and mini disco. I think though that in future they could have more confidence to run activities separately so to more effectively cover Gustavo's day off without having to forfeit kids club or another activity. The evenings were good, we had two professional acts each week and the other days were quizzes, dancing, bing, kareoke etc. The clubhouse was ok but if it gets a refurbishment then it would be a good idea to rearrange the chairs into groups rather than cinema style and perhaps swap the stage to where the DJ box is.
The location of the hotel is good, we could walk to the beach in 10-15 minutes, Campanario centre in 10, water park in 25 minutes and main strip in 20. It is right next to the national park which is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you to team Aloe for making our holiday, I recommend this hotel and I'm 100% happy we chose it for our family holiday this year.

This hotel could be much improved with just a little thought and effort.
Firstly, get the lighting to access routes to the rooms in working order, not only will this improve the appearance but also remove a serious health and safety risk as going to your room after dark is treacherous! Also, the position of some of the lamps (on stairwells) and air con units are positioned at head height which is a serious accident waiting to happen.
Rooms are tired and in need of a refresh, mirrors are tarnished, toilet flushes are hanging off the walls and tiles are cracked. For our stay the air conditioning unit was broken which when we reported an “engineer” paid a token visit and said it can’t be fixed - they did provided a fan which only served to blow hot air around the room!
Around the pool sun loungers and dilapidated (not just one or two but practically all of them) and the pool tiles are cracked and discoloured which doesn’t look great. A few bins dotted around the pool would help too so that guest could dispose of rubbish appropriately rather than it just get blow around and not tidied until the following morning.
Games room are a waste of time with all games out of order - get them fixed and they’d pay for themselves in no time!
Entertainment for the kids was non existent for the first 3-days of our holiday but when they did turn up they did their best with the limited facilities.
Food is what you’d expect for this grade of hotel and was always fresh and varied.
On a positive note the staff in the majority were friendly and helpful under difficult circumstances given the condition of the hotel!

We were offered this hotel as an upgrade and couldn't have asked for better. When we first looked at it's location, we were slightly put off, but it worked out far better than expected. The hotel faces the dunes, is around 20 minutes walk to the beach, 10 minutes from bus station using back entrance from hotel and 15 minutes from Campanario shopping centre. Everyone is so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The hotel is spotless, the cleaners start early in the morning and work tirelessly, as does all the staff. There are 2 heated pools out of them all, open 10 till 6. Food although not as plentiful as other hotels, is good quality. Drinks are good. When we arrived it was in paper cups,. But these were replaced by plastic cups with their logo on. Much better for the environment. We were happy to have alcohol free beer as part of the AI, a real bonus. Entertainment in evening was good, usually singers, but did have magician and acrobatic show. Think it's now 4 evenings a week with an external visiting act. Gustavo dies an amazing job the other evenings with bngo and quizzes. We were not around during day, but there is an entertainment programme during day too. Rooms are apartments, which were a good size and we like having the lounge separate from bedroom. You can get BBC and ITV on the TV and free WiFi in rooms, very handy. The gym is very limited, just a cross trainer and spin bike, plus a multi use weight machine and some weights. We did manage an hour's workout a day by taking our own stretch bands and being very inventive. Rooms have a fridge, although very noisy at nights and kettle, with complimentary tea making sachets. Plenty of sunbeds and not too much sunbed reserving. Lots of sun around pools . There is a spa in the hotel which offers a special price for an hour, which includes sauna, showers and jacuzzi. This has to be booked. There is also an Italian restaurant open Tuesday and Thursday, which says 12 euros per person or free if a premium guest. We won a free meal from bingo, so enjoyed a lovely set meal, with a much better quality wine. The entertainment in the evening was in the main building, but this was often cold and smoky and seats very uncomfortable. Probably not large enough for hotel either. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely come back again. We loved our rooms location, only thing I didn't like was the beds, very uncomfortable. Thank you to all the staff , who make everyone's holiday so special and memorable. This hotel is an asset to the Labranda range.
