Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The resort is spotlessly clean and we found all the staff to be very polite and helpful with any request. The front desk recommended some restaurants in Correlejo and were happy to call us taxis whenever we wanted. The centre is only a max 15min walk away but we found taxis a lot more convenient and at €4 a bargain.
We’d booked a 1 bedroom apartment but I emailed a couple of weeks before we arrived to see if there were any 2 bedroom apartments available to upgrade to - and was delighted that there was. I paid the upgrade fee and was glad I did as the space even in the 2 bedroom was compact - but clean and comfortable - so not sure what the 1 bedroom would have been like.
The pool bar offered snacks through the day which were ok, and freshly cooked paella on Sunday lunchtime and a bbq on the Thursday lunchtime.
The pools were good and overseen by a lifeguard each day. The on site excursion office booked us a 3hr buggy safari which was great fun.
I would return as it offered everything we needed and the staff always went that extra mile to fulfil any request.

We have been coming to these apartments for the past 4 years, the Atlantic Gardens are peaceful and quiet, excellent pools which are very clean, and beautifully managed gardens. There are Gym facilities, very friendly staff, in fact there is everything you need for your your holiday.
Rooms are very clean, and managed by lovely ladies always prepared to help and always smiling. Beds are superb I've never slept so well as I did this past week. Walking into town is less than 10 mins, the beach 5 minute walk.
As for Correlejo, I am really surprised at how the meals out have gone up in price, last July a meal for two with starter, main and dessert, cost us 35/40 euro's now the same restaurants are charging 60 euro for the same food.
All in all we love The Atlantic Gardens and would thoroughly recommend if you want peaceful nights in lovely surroundings 10/10

Just on our way home from these apartments. Check in very quick and we were located in room 266 with great pool views. However no air conditioning and I would imagine in the summer this room is unbearable. Pool and garden area were spotless and attended to all the time. Pool area has a lifeguard who is keen to keep the children’s noise to a minimum. Apartment is minimalistic but has all you need, towels only changed every few days and bed linen once a week. The cleaning was not the best, balcony never swept .... just think they do the minimum. The apartments are located next to a small shopping area with a choice of friendly bars,we particularly like Trigo’s for coffee and a light breakfast and Stars for a couple of afternoon drinks whilst the sun goes down. The beach is a five minute walk and the main town and harbour about 15 minutes with plenty of choice. Only thing that spoilt this holiday is the TIMESHARES - they operate from the edge of the shopping centre and then have a plush room opposite reception at this hotel trying to sell weeks at this place. Bit disappointed as every time we went to sit in the bar at lunchtime they were there giving guests the same patter. Overall a nice complex for a quick cheap break and that’s what we expected.

I stayed here for a week over Christmas and had no particular complaints.
The place seemed pretty quiet, very few people using the pool area (the pool isn't heated, contrary to some other reviews) and I felt a little sorry for the lifeguard who was twiddling his thumbs watching over an empty pool for most of the day.
The room was basic, but adequate. I felt very safe, particularly with the very robust lock on the balcony doors. The room facilities were much as advertised, even going to the level of providing a sponge and washing up liquid for the kitchenette.
A few little quirks like the wardrobe not being in the bedroom, but other than that it was fine. The TV signal was not great, only a couple of English channels and they often didn't work, but it was possible to switch the audio on some of the Spanish channels to get the original English sound.
Location is obviously great next to the Campanario, and not too far from the beach. A bit of a treck to the strip and old town, but that was expected.
Pool bar was decent enough, although be aware that you can buy small bottles of water cheaper from the vending machine opposite reception.

We treated ourselves to our first Xmas abroad, after visiting Corralejo the previous year. We stayed in a similar area, so knew location of Atlantic gns. Stayed in villa 283 , and delighted with all aspects of this holiday, apartment was clean, modern and spacious with a large balcony- pool, snacks ,bar area and all staff friendly and helpful - location is ideal having El campanario on doorstep and five minutes to beach , would recommend this complex highly and we are already planning our next visit as we're many other regulars and first timers

Having discovered Fuerteventura last October 2021, and in need of a post Christmas break we decided to return to a different resort for a week in the sun. Choosing Corralejo was a great idea as the apartments suited our needs, clean, tidy, quiet and away from the bright lights. The reception were more than helpful and dealt with the petty niggles we had such as no hot shower on the first evening and providing an extra pillow for my wife. Nothing was too much trouble and dealt with almost immediately. The rooms were basic and tidy although a small horizontal shelf was slightly coming away from the wall. In February there wasn't a lot to do around the complex, okay the gym was open and the pools available but the bar opened from11am until 7pm and that was it. Really, apart for this the break was all we required. It was a good 20 minutes walk to the Old Town which greatly assisted my wife's walking following her hip replacement. We walked about 5 miles a day. The alternative was to walk down to the beach road and cut off the corner which we often did. The cleaning staff and the pool staff together with the bar man were always polite and smiling and did their work without sulkiness or complaint. Any problems? Well, not really apart from sun bed saving despite the notice saying it is not allowed. But it's as small percentage of guests who did that, mainly German and Dutch but as there ample beds available there may be some problem come summer.

Just back from two weeks stay, first for 2 years due to Covid, it just as great as ever. The staff as always were friendly and our Apartment was lovely. Housekeeping did an excellent job it was cleaned daily and towels changed regularly. Although it was fully booked we were always able to get a lounger when we wanted to stay at pool. The Snack bar was on reduced hours and reduced food menu (which was expected) but still nice and kept clean. These Apartments have beautiful gardens which are very well maintained and are in an ideal location for all other amenities. We felt quite safe here regarding covid, everything clean, sanitisers in public areas and all the staff wore masks at all times. Looking forward to staying again. 😊

We stayed here for a week from the 2nd - 9th Feb. 2020. Lovely greeting from the receptionist Valentina on arrival. Linda was also wonderful and helped with every request we had. The apartment was spacious, modern and clean,for the two of us. The bedroom had large wardrobes, a safe and t.v. ironing board and iron. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and microwave too. There was a larger t.v in the living room with a radio/c.d player. Modern bathroom with walk in shower. Hairdryer provided. We had a room with a pool view, which was lovely - table and chairs on the balcony. There is a small pool bar, gym, laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The complex is close to all amenities and easily accessible. The beach is approximately a 10 minute walk. Amazing beach with little cafes and restaurants dotted along. Corralejo Street Craft Market is located in the El Campanario Shopping Centre a few minutes walk, on Thursdays and Sunday mornings. Well worth a visit. In this square are lovely small bars, restaurants, shops and a medical centre.. and a great supermarket. The main high street is about 10/15 mins walk away with all the bigger retail shops, bars and restaurants. There was a nice breeze during the day and not at all as windy as people had told us for February. Corralejo is a lovely resort. We had a lovely time and we hope to return to the Alantic Garden Beach Mate Hotel soon. :)

Just got back from a lovely week at these apartments. They are in a great location close to some really nice bars and restaurants that have more of a Spanish feel. Also close to the beaches and shops and supermarket. The rooms are bright , spacious and have everything you need for a self catering holiday . Even have liquid soap in kitchen and bathroom. We stayed on a second floor apartment at the back of the hotel . It was very quiet and we enjoyed walking through the pretty, fragrant gardens filled with Bougainvillea, cactus and palm trees. The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfortable and we just loved having breakfast on the balcony in the morning sun. All the staff were helpful, friendly and happy to help. It’s classed as budget accommodations but to me it was everything you need for a comfortable stay. If you are wanting plush luxurious bedroom suites you need to book elsewhere. Saying that we will recommend and book again , we would rather spend our money on other holiday essentials like food , drinks and car hire.

We went self catering as we are a big family. We had to get 2 apartments. Basic but nice and clean. Facilities included a microwave, kettle, 2 Ringed hob, a fridge and a hairdryer. Could have done with toaster as there was no oven. Very hard to cook for family of 7 with no oven but we managed it. Great location, supermarket about 5 minutes walk away with loads of other shops. Pools were nice and not to cold. Not very many things open due to Covid in the resort but overall good. My only disappointment was that we did not get the sheets changed until the fifth day and then we had to ask 3 times for this to be done. The weather was very hot for the whole time we were there. The bedrooms are hot at night as there was no ceiling fan.
Bed in main bedroom would have been nice as a double bed only not 2 singles.
Staff nice and pleasant. Would recommend going to this resort.

We spent 30-60 minutes every day in the very nice and quiet pool and it was this January. Unfortunately didn't taste the water, but I guess it's not very salty :)
There are more places to choose from in the Corralejo area.
