The apartment was a really good size. The bedroom was very spacious with a double bed,a large living area,a large bathroom with a great walk in shower. There is a nice size kitchen area which has toaster, kettle, micro wave, full size oven, washing machine and a family size fridge/freezer. Gary met me as arranged with the keys as planned, and they were collected on departure. The locationis great, and overlooks the Aqua park at the front and Lanzarote is visible from the rear, and 20 minutes walk to Music Square. 2 minutes walk to the main street.Retro Bar,which serves meals and has great live shows, is less than 5 minutes away.
I can definitely Go Go Tours ( run by Simon Tierney) for a really great tour of the island. The trip is limited to 8 people, and you get a great tour of the island and Simon is always by your side during the tour, not like a lot of tours which take you to a place, talk for a couple of minutes and then tell you to meet back.in 20/30 minutes.
A nice small bar overlooking the sea is Cordon Blue, which is run by a really nice man Rafa.It is just a bar,no meals, but you can sit outside in the sun or shade defending on the time of the year.

The complex had lovely gardens and walkways, some areas needed attention like loose tiles on the floor...it had 3 pools but unfortunately 1 of the pools was closed which in spanish style was taking along time to do a small amount of work but luckily the other 2 pools weren't over busy. Location was fantastic as close to waterpark and campanario out of one gate and right near the strip out of a different gate which you can only get in the complex with a key. Complex was very quiet and everyone was friendly and always spoke to you. Overall a very good complex in a fab location.

Great location at the top of the strip and 5 minutes from El Campanario shopping centre. A gated and well secured complex. Nice and quiet during the day with people relaxing around one of the three pools, although not heated and too cold to use in January. Noise from Retro Bar is heard loudly up until midnight. However, if you can’t beat them, join them. Which we did. Enjoyed our stay.

Stayed March2024 during carnival week for 9 nights.
The advertiser appears to use the same photos for however many units they rent on this complex as some of the photos did not match our rental which was apartment number 314 .
We Can’t fault the grounds or location of Oasis Royal but the unit that we rented was not as we expected .we found stained ripped curtains cracked mugs only one plate in the cupboard travel sized dirty kettle a filthy bathroom and balcony.
We booked with Holidu and all onward contact was with their partners @ light booking.net who after I complained sent someone who they described as ‘the responsible’ with new curtains , crockery a kettle and who cleaned the bathroom and balcony leaving 3 balcony chairs (2 were cracked )and 2 tables .The upstairs bedroom is accessed from a dangerous staircase with a top rail that wobbles and moves when touched (we were told it would cause too much dust to repair so not sure if it’s been fixed now or not ) there is no opening window just a small vent in the wall and a dirty rusty fan. It would be stifling hot up there during high season as the room is airless.
The bathroom photos show a bath but we found a dirty shower in our rental which was still not as clean as it should be even after ‘the responsible ‘had re cleaned it. Also a broken dining chair and broken cupboard door which is just wedged in place. The balcony is fitted with Astro turf it’s stained and needs a good vacuum clean.A broken dirty bench was also removed from here after we complained The front view from the balcony is lovely and is as shown in the advert however there is no privacy barrier between this (314) and the neighbouring unit and the side view is quite disgusting see the photos .
Renters/Guests are required to pick up the keys for the apartment and drop them off on departure at the airport. This is not guest friendly especially the drop off where you will arrive at the front of the airport then have to make your way round to the back to return the keys to a shuttle service office.
We have now made a formal complaint to holidu And asked for a refund, they in turn acted as a mediator between us and Lightbookings .who they describe as ‘the providers’ and are apparently responsible for the apartment . Holidu have denied any responsibility for the state of the unit saying that they are just a search engine. although payment go to them.
Our complaints to Lightbookings have fallen on deaf ears they say that our complaints were dealt with while we were there and they have had no other complaints before or after our stay and would not offer a refund and now consider the case closed . It is clear that they have no value in the lost holiday days it took for us to get the place cleaned which encroached on our holiday,or that they allowed us to walk into this apartment to find the shortcomings that we experienced .
if you rent here and find clean curtains a well stocked cupboard clean bath and balcony …you are very welcome as this came at our expense and time .I must point out again that this was apartment number 314 and my review is solely for this unit and not for the Oasis Royal Complex or any other rental on that site .

We booked this for a week commencing 11th January. What we didn't know was that it is mainly residential with some apartments rented out. There is no reception. When we arrived around 7.30pm it was dark and we found that it is a gated complex. We had no one to meet us so we found ourselves locked out with no way to get in. This lasted around an hour till eventually a man returned from walking his dog and reluctantly let us in. He was not keen to let us in as the complex had a rule not to let strangers in. The enclosed photo does give an emergency phone number.

Just spent a lovely week at Oasis Royal Apartment F214. We were met at the resort by Jim and given a guided tour of the above Apartment. It was opposite the toddler pool and in a great spot. A lovely Sun trap. The Apartment had everything we needed including WiFi. As we both have some mobility issues the Apartment was perfect for us to get to the main drag without any problems. This was our first time at Oasis Royal but won’t be the last. Thank you Lesley &Jim for a lovely week.

Loved my stay here, just off the main Street in Corralejo but like a hidden Oasis and I felt very safe as a Solo traveller. When I stayed (at Carnival) there were never any more than 10 people around the pool at once, which was lovely, lots of sunbeds available. The apartments themselves are a good size, quite basic but everything you need. My host Gary was on hand and always helpful, I'll be back for sure

We had a wicked time on holiday and are now completely depressed to be back. The hotel was lovely and the pool are was wicked. If you walked out the back of our apartment we literally walked onto the pool. The entertainment was average. Perhaps the hotel could do with few more entertainers as the few shows we saw had literally four people in it. The rooms were lovely compared to other places we have stayed in, although basic the rooms were clean and the bathrooms were lovely. The only thing we wasn't to happy with was the cockroaches!!!! Apart from that we had a wicked time.

This was our 5th stay in Corralejo, in 2 years & our 5th different complex/apartment, but so far the best, & looking to make this our Corralejo place to stay in the future.

A well laid out complex, nice & quiet, apart from a bar or 2 at night.
We watched the lower pool being cleaned every weekday morning, & he did a very thorough job.
Gardens were kept very tidy, with tree works being carried out while we were there.

Now the negatives,
We used the Entrance Gate behind La Casita, & it was absolutely disgustingly dirty, with grubby fingerprints, not been cleaned in ages, & considering the current crisis we found this very unacceptable.
Also the communal paths weren't swept in the week we were there, & tissues & animal droppings left lying around.

Owners should be making sure this sort of neglect doesn't carry on, or peeps will stay away, unfortunately so many apartments are holiday rentals, we have listed over 20 on TripAdvisor, that all the owners worry about is getting the money in & don't want to spend it on Cleaning. Well a clean complex will bring more people in.
Let's hope it's cleaner on our next visit.
