Hotel Arena Suite garners praise for its tranquil location near attractions, despite a walk to the main areas. Guests commend the spacious, spotless rooms and applaud the hotel's exceptional cleanliness. However, the hotel's value is questioned due to basic amenities and extra charges. While the beds are comfortable, some travelers report issues with pillows and noise. The vibrant atmosphere and live entertainment are highlights, though overcrowding and the need for updates are noted. Service is deemed friendly and efficient, but pool bar service has received some criticism.

I agree with everything Jay G has said. This was a great hotel to stay in.
Only about a 40 minute transfer from the airport situated on the edge of Corralejo, but only about a 15/20 min walk to the beach and main shops.
Our room (130) was at the poolside so we could walk out our door and and be right by the pool, bar and restaurant. Cleaned every day, our room was spacious. Great shower with a rainfall head and ordinary head.
The food was always good, giving options to be as healthy or indulgent as you wanted. Wine, beer, juice and water on tap to help yourselves to at each meal. If you like your freshly roasted coffee you may be disappointed however, as this was from a machine and in my opinion didn't taste great. Take your own tea bags if you want a decent cuppa.
The staff were welcoming and friendly and quick to clear your plates away. All staff were good, the ones who's names I remember are Diallo, Tia, Alexandra, Rosanna and Szanette (apologies for any spelling mistakes).
Beds are huge, but quite firm (uncomfortable for us).
We had a couple of rain showers and cooler, windier days, but even when it was sunny there were plenty sun loungers with pool towels supplied for a ten euro deposit.
A private shower room which you can book if you have a later flight was much appreciated.

We were given room 120, which is down a little ramp from reception. I travelled with my husband and 18 month old son.
The room: a massive bed bigger than kingsize was in the room along with a travel cot. There is a small fridge and a kettle with tea/coffee, although no milk.
The bathroom has a large walk in shower and hairdryer on the wall which is much better than any other hotel hairdryer Iā€™ve tried.
Shower gel and mini soap bars were provided.
The rooms were very clean
We had a patio area out front, but this didnā€™t get the sun so we used the area out the back of the room instead.
The food: is served at a restaurant beside the pools, it was plentiful and gave a different choice each day. We did find this became samey going to the same place for all 3 meals so we ventured out to town a few times.
The staff in the hotel were always very pleasant and willing to help, and were brilliant with my son.
Drinks were decent, help yourself to beer & wine. Spirits/ cocktails are served by the bar staff.
The location: about a 15mins walk to town, 5 min walk to the shopping centre where the nearest supermarket was.
Entertainment: there was something different each night, we never got to see this as it really didnā€™t start til 8:30/9 and by this time we needed to put the baby to bed.
My only gripe with this was there was nothing to do for children/babies.

This was our second visit having also visited in sept 2021. We arrived and quickly were checked in by reception. The rooms are absolutely spotless and very spacious. The shower is the best we have experienced when travelling. The bed is huge a quick request to reception for more pillows was answered instantly as usual nothing is too much for the wonderful staff. The whole hotel has a lovely vibe itā€™s chilled and relaxed the pool area is cleaned daily there is a real focus here on customer satisfaction. Restaurant serves quality food itā€™s very varied and a huge choice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all great the staff work hard to please guests. I was really happy to see the choice of milk, lactose free and oat etc. We think the theme nights work well and itā€™s a great way to try different foods. The wine this time suited our taste better than our previous visit. During our stay we celebrated my husbands birthday and reception arranged a really nice surprise of sparkling wine, cake and chocolates to our room. You notice the manager making regular checks and engaging with guests always asking if everything is ok . We really like the location itā€™s a 25 minute walk into correlejo and a taxi is under 4 euros each way. We went to relax and enjoy ourselves and thatā€™s exactly what we did. Once again Arena Suite big thanks to all your team for a great holiday keep doing what you do best working together to ensure guests have a great time when visiting you.

We stayed here for a week over new year.

The plus points were the lovely room, which I believe has been recently refurbished. Friendly and helpful staff. You could always get a lounger by the pool. On AI, you can help yourself to wine, beer, soft drinks and coffees by the pool, in the restaurant and the bar.

The food was mixed. Breakfast and lunch generally fine. Dinner had a different theme every night, for instance Mexican, Chinese, Italian, but was a bit hit or miss. You could always find something to eat though.

The entertainment at night was your usual holiday hotel stuff - karaoke, acrobats, magician and singers, all on different nights. Just ok.

The hotel is around a 10 minute walk to a commercial centre with some shops and smaller restaurants but a good 20 min walk to the main strip. There is a nice walk along the beach to the centre, with some bars and cafes on the way in. A taxi only took about 5 mins into the centre and was around ā‚¬4.

A special mention for hogmanay as the hotel really pushed the boat out. Paella, sangria and cava round the pool during the day. The restaurant was all done up like a wedding venue at night. The restaurant staff were in black tie. Welcomed in with canapes and cocktails and the food was excellent. Made it a really special day and night so well done to the hotel and staff for all they did.

We also got to reserve the sauna for 30 mins on the day of departure, which meant we could lie by the pool for a few hours and then get showered and changed before heading to the airport, which was good.

All in all, an enjoyable weeks stay.

We were really pleasantly surprised by our complete experience at The Arena Suites Hotel. This holiday has been fantastic value for money!
On arrival we were greeted by Carolina who was very friendly, informative and as helpful as it was possible to be. Our room was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and as good as any 4 star hotel in which weā€™ve stayed. We had a massive double bed, very nice sofa, which looked brand new and a stylish bathroom with huge walk-in shower (and 2 shower head options), safe, TV and fridge. The only facility lacking are some drawers but there are enough shelves and wardrobe space. We were allocated a balcony room overlooking the two swimming pools.
It is a smallish hotel with about 100 suites and is therefore never crowded or noisy, itā€™s definitely predominantly an adult location, there were only a couple of children here during our week and they were very young so didnā€™t really need entertained but thereā€™s very little for active kids or teenagers; not that we were complaining, it was great for a relaxing, quiet time.
Every single member of staff we encountered was friendly and beyond helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, they were great. Itā€™s a 10 minute walk to shops or 20 minutes stroll into town with huge choices of restaurants, cafes, shops etc. Itā€™s a 4 minute stroll to the beach from the front door.
The food in the (only) restaurant was beautifully presented, delicious and with a huge selection to suit all tastes and requirements. The pool bar served any beverage, hot or cold, that you might want and a selection of food/snacks to keep you satisfied between meals, itā€™s not big but itā€™s ideal for what you might want.
There is entertainment on every night and what we saw entertained us adequately.
I would highly recommend The Arena Suite Hotel.

We have stopped here for a week starting on 30/12/19 on room only basis. On arrival we were informed we could upgrade by the day for all inclusive for ā‚¬24.per day. As we have hired a car this meant we could pick and choose if we wanted to stay around the hotel any day that we could upgrade for the day if we wanted to which was ideal. The food on the days we ate here was really lovely with plenty of choice. We upgraded for New Years Eve but the buffet did cost an ā‚¬30 Per person but was well worth it. I can honestly say itā€™s the best buffet Iā€™ve ever had. On arrival there were nibbles and little shots to try. Then in the Resturant huge selection from lobster bisque to start. For mains crab and huge prawns salads, fresh meats and cheeses, duck, steak, chicken and too many things to mention including deserts but all delicious. The room we were allocated first 211 was next to the evening entertainment and the first evening I honestly thought they were in the room with me. I asked at reception in the morning to be moved and the gentleman on reception couldnā€™t have been more helpful insisting on no ring our things himself. In fact all the staff here are wonderful friendly and will do anything to make your stay a good one. The hotel itself is situated in a nice quiet spot about a 10 minutes walk one way to a shopping area with some nice bars and restaurants. Or about a 25 minutes walk the other direction to the busier strip area and port.

First visit to this hotel but not Fuerteventura, the hotel is a bit out of the main area in Corralejo but it's a nice walk and it all on one level. Having read previous reviews I have to say we thought it was very good, food was varied and most night there was a theme, Mexican, Chinese, Indian etc yes it is a buffet style so its repetitive but that is to be expected. We had no complaints about the quality of the food at all. The staff are what makes this hotel, so nice and friendly from reception to bar staff they are very welcoming. Rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable, air conditioning, lovely walk in shower. Rooms cleaned every day.
Possible improvements but not a complaint,
1 a welcome drink on arrival, i have had this at several other hotels and it's a nice touch, a glass of fizz to start your holiday off.
2 offer crisps as a bar snack
3 let the cleaning staff start at 9am, the noise of their trolleys passing by at 8am is way to early, we are on holiday after all!
4 Give all your staff a big bonus, they deserve it,
I would return to this hotel, it is great value for money, spotlessly clean and very friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay .

Just got back from a 10 night stay and have got to say it was a great holiday.

Firstly I have to say the food was lovely, Great spread laid out for breakfast, dinner & tea. No issues with the food being cold at all, it looks to be heated from above and below. Breakfast was nice with the usual being available, including British looking sausages, bacon looked a bit different to normal but was tasty ( nice touch by the hotel was HP sauce to go with the breakfast)
There was a theme every night for tea, Indian, Chinese, Mexican etc...
The pool area and bar was clean and everyone wore masks when they moved around the area and most kept to the 2 persons only rule in the pool bar. I believe the Beer on tap was Amstel which was nice, along with the other usual drinks, Gin,Vodka,Malibu and Sangria.
Another nice touch was a designated smoking area which ensured the pool area was kept clear of ashtrays and cigarette butts. This was a social area as well for many to get to know each other.
The heated pool was kept to a nice temperature throughout our stay and there is a lifeguard on duty throughout the day.
Renns the entertainment guy did a great job of arranging games to keep those that wanted a break from sunbathing, Darts, Pool, Table tennis were popular along with some other games. The prize for winning one of these was a cocktail voucher..He also introduced the evening entertainment and did a quiz or two during our stay ( Boy was the quiz hard !!) The evening entertainment was ok with various singers doing an array of different types of music.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and the bed was huge, got to mention the shower was amazing to, it never dropped in temperature and I didn't want to get out at times.
In the reception area there is a book swop shelf with books left by guests for other guests to read, this is a great idea and the girlfriend used this a lot.
Corralejo town is a good 25 minute walk away but taxis are really cheap costing about 4 euros. There are loads of bars and restaurants along a mile stretch which cater for all..
On site there is a gym which had the usual loose weights and machines, I used this 3 times during our stay, I didn't however use the squash court.
I think I've covered everything, And would highly recommend staying here..

We arrived on 24th December and will leave tomorrow on 2nd January. We travelled as a party of 9 adults. We chose this hotel based upon the good reviews but overall we have been disappointed and wished we had stayed elsewhere.

Good points - excellent food and drink with great variety each day. The Christmas Day and New Year's Eve Gala Dinners were exceptional and the staff were fantastic.

Poor points - the pool area is far too small for the amount of people staying here. The sun beds are crammed in with no space in between. People reserve the beds with towels the night before and early in the morning. This morning at 9am there were no sunbeds available by the pool. However it is now 11am and half the beds that have been reserved with towels are still not in use. There is meant to be a rule in the hotel that towels would be removed after 40 minutes of no use but not seen the staff ever remove one towel.

The evening bar area is also very small and we have struggled to get seats in the evening and have ended up going to the local bars.

The rooms are small with very limited hanging and wardrobe space. I would suggest that you bring hangers.

The location of the hotel is a good 25 minutes walk into town and the nearest bar is 600 metres away.

The Restaurant area does not cater for larger parties and you end up in a cold back room with no atmosphere.

I have been away 8 times on holiday this year to various destinations and I certainly would not return to this hotel. It had a feel of Butlins rather than a 4 star hotel!

Dear North Devonians, I would like to thank you for highlighting the Hotel staff who strive so hard to satisfy our customers so that they enjoy the most pleasant stay possible. We fully agree with you that the Christmas and New Year's Eve gala dinners have been a resounding success where our kitchen team has shown what it is capable of cooking to satisfy even the most exquisite palates. We are sorry that you have been annoyed by the rudeness shown by some clients by reserving their sunbeds from early in the morning despite the fact that it is a totally prohibited custom in the Hotel and for this there are several informative signs that prohibit it in different points of the pools. The solarium is large enough and has enough sunbeds to avoid the crowding of clients in one area, but unfortunately most of the clients seek sunny areas, which causes them to be somewhat overcrowded. We are sorry that you did not like the location that we have reserved for large families at the restaurant, as has been your case. The location of the Hotel from our point of view is ideal since it is located in a very quiet area of Corralejo which allows our guests to achieve absolute rest but at a distance of just only 10 minutes walking is located the Campanario Shopping Center plenty of bars, shops and even a market. It strikes me that you consider our rooms small. Since they are precisely characterized by their comfort and spaciousness as many of our guests point out on this website. We take note of your comment to have more hangers in the rooms. We also take note of the lack of seats in the Lounge Bar to improve it in the future and make this space more welcoming. We appreciate your comments for helping us to improve and we will do so to convince you to repeat your holidays with us in the future. Kind regards, Daniel G.H.-Manager Arena Suite Hotel

My wife and I have just returned from a 4 week holiday at the Arena Suites Hotel.
We email the hotel requesting a South facing top floor which we were very happy to have been allocated.
As the other reviews have stated the rooms are spacious, large comfortable bed and a great walk in shower.
A very good selection of meals in the restaurant with theme nights giving a variety of different dishes. Unfortunately some nights the food was only warm which was a pity.
The beer served is Amstel & San Miguel which are both very good but I am afraid that the local spirits are very poor and not to our taste. However if you wanted named spirits it was on ā‚¬1-2 extra.
Good pool area, with plenty of sun loungers. Every morning the area was given a good clean by the pool staff and even the sun loungers were given a clean with the high pressure hose.
The guests were of all ages and nationalities. The strict rules of wearing a face covering was observed by all except one family who thought that it did not apply to them even after staff had told them to cover up. They still kept the mask only on their chin so they could eat their chips on the way to the table !!
Summing up this is a very good hotel which is mainly down to the staff. In reception if we had any queries, Carolina, Amina and Anvar were on hand to help us. The dining room staff worked very hard in taking away your plates and keeping the tables clean. Daiana & Hernan always greeted you with a smile even behind their mask.
For a comfortable hotel in a quiet location this one ticks all the boxes.
One last mention is for the Jet2 rep Katie who was a star in helping with our passenger location form.
