I feel that this accommodation has found a niche in the market. It seems to offer something very special. The apartments are brilliant bases and really feel like your own home in the sun. We were very impressed with the washing up liquid, sponge and dishwasher tablets provided, such a thoughtful touch. We liked the concept of no room service so there was no pressure to vacate the room by a certain time. The pool area is incredibly chilled out and relaxing and the bar offers great drinks and fresh yummy food. Wednesday is buy one get one free on pizzas- two huge pizzas for €6! It’s also handy for a takeaway if you can’t be bothered to go out. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble, they really make you feel welcomed. There is a HippoDina supermarket a 6 minute walk away so convenient for that initial stocking up on arrival. For those saying there isn’t a mirror in the bedroom, this seems to have been addressed as our apartment had a full length mirror in the main bedroom. We were kindly offered a complimentary breakfast which was also very good (however for breakie we recommend Cantante Cafe). One tiny and personal critique would be the bed/sofa thing in the living room, we’d prefer a ‘normal’ sofa but that’s just us. All in all this really is a fantastic place to holiday, you will feel so chilled and at home. Thank you for making our first trip to Fuerteventura so wonderful and well done on your lovely Nohotel!

Stayed at the Buendia corralejo 7th March 2020 for a week on arrival we had to do a temperature test a little weary but understanable all to do with the coronavirus crisis we were given a voucher for a complementary breakfast on the first day Hot and cold breakfast the cold breakfast was self service plenty of choice then the staff took your order for the hot breakfast. it was really good so good we went back a day later the cost was £18 for two. it was good vaule and well worth it. A tip bring a mug from your room for your tea or coffee saves you going back and fourth as the cups are a little bit smaller in the cafe The staff here never stop working the place is of a very high standard of maintenance There is a lifeguard at the pool. Another lovely surprise was a bottle of sparkling wine and a birthday card left in the room a couple of other guest had mentioned that they had also a birthday surprise from the team The wi fi was really good so good that I brought a little amazon firestick hooked it up to the TV and it worked a treat streamed Neflix / prime etc no buffering just had to change the password on the firestick I also had spotify on my phone and was able to download lots of podcast music while at the pool. The TV has BBC1 BBC2 ITV CHANNEL 4 CHANNEL 5 on channel 75,76,77,78,79 Another great tip was they took my phone number and added it to the whats up messenger group I was able to ask pablo a couple questions while out and about dates and times of the carnival They not only obliged they also sent maps and pictuers with directions. there are free books to read along with board games a pool table and bar football game. The cafe / bar had entertainment on at night if you wanted to retire home early. it is in a built up area with lots of side streets a little dark at night but really safe. There our some great restaurants in the side streets with two shopping centres near by the staff will give you directions best wishes to all the staff at the welcome loft team you are a credit to your job Hope we can return when things get back to normal. stay safe and keep up the 5 star work.

We have just returned from a fantastic two weeks at Buendia nohotel, 16/7-30/7., despite the current COVID pandemic! On arrival, we were met by Alessandro in the Welcome Loft, everything was sanitised before we were invited in to book in. Booking in was a breeze, with all the rules and regs explained to us reference face mask and sanitizers, and the usual pool etiquette. Also we were encouraged to contact reception via WhatsApp if we had any issues Our apartment was superb, very clean and very spacious. We were allocated No.229, it had two bedrooms, 1 king size, and the other had bunk beds. The kitchen area had a two ring hob and a microwave, kettle, and a pod type coffee machine, also had a full size fridge/freezer as well as a dishwasher. There was also a table and chairs, and a large lounger. Also there is a large wall mounted tv showing a mixture of tv channels from around Europe! The patio area had a table and chairs, and also had a double sun lounger! Pool area was very clean, hand sanitizers at all the entry points, sun loungers were well spaced out, and these were cleaned by the lifeguard whenever they were left. This area also had a maximum occupancy due to the spacing of the beds. The pool bar. This was my favourite place, food was superb, the area was clean and tidy, the staff were very attentive, and food and drink all reasonably priced. A special thanks go to David, Fran and the rest of the crew. My drinks were always ready when they saw me heading over, and at 3pm, it was Mojito time by the pool. All the staff wore face masks at all times, with guests requested to wear them when walking around the communal areas of the complex. Location, it is about a ten minute walk to the main strip in Corralejo, or if you fancy a more leisurely stroll, the seafront footpath is almost at the front door! All in all, it has been a fantastic two weeks, and we are already planning our next visit. See you all soon.

Loved this place. The concept is that you live there for a week or two, not just rent a room. They only clean the apartments and change towels once every 7-days, this way they can keep operating costs (and ultimately our prices) down and not wash towels unnecessarily. Some people may not find this appealing but I bought into it. It's not difficult to make your own bed in the morning afterall. Breakfast was nice. Service for hot food can take time when it's busy but it's all made to order and well worth the wait. The pool area nice, the coast is literally across the road and the main coastal stretch of bars and restaurants is only 10 minutes away. Would definitely visit again.

We are currently at the hotel as I write this review, wonderful place, lovely people who run it, had a complimentary breakfast on the first morning, a large supermarket is about 10 minutes walk and there numerous others dotted about the resort. The apartment is well laid out and spotless kettle coffee maker dishwasher microwave hairdryer fridge lots of different glasses cups mugs frying pans and normal pans, we also have a rooftop terrace which is great, your not bothered by maids wanting to clean your room as the change the linen every 7 Days which suited us you can request extra maid service at an extra cost. The pool is heated to 25 Deg (which in January needs it) lol, never had a problem getting a sun bed loads spare, the gardens are well kept. There is a very good well kitted out gym which is free which we made good use of,found the location of the hotel was perfect for us situated in a quiet area in the older part of town easy walk into the main strip (15 mins) there are lots of restaurants and bars all within easy reach from the hotel all in all love our stay here and would come back in a heartbeat a well run laid back spotless hotel with great happy people running it, well done to you all!

Masks in Fuerteventura are mandatory unless eating or drinking or on the beach and sunbathing by the pool so they are worn around the hotel until you are in your apartment or on the patio . These apartments are ultra modern very clean ours was a two bed duplex number 300 ground floor the patio area has sun bed for 2 table chairs and is lovely this is on the inside of the building but still outside if that makes sense some apartments patios are outside on the street but with walls around . The staff are very friendly and helpful the pool bar was only open 1-5 because of COVID and the lack of people staying there we had ice cold beers €3 each and tried lunch one day which was nice not a very extensive and not totally to my taste but I had a ceaser salad which was nice and tasty potato wedges my partner had pizza which he enjoyed . The pool area is gorgeous sun beds comfortable but a little low to get up from with my arthritic knees ,the pool is heated but to warm for us it didn’t cool you down after sunbathing on a very hot day but would be great in winter there is a gym, laundry And lounge area downstairs .Although the hotel and resort was very quiet because of COVID We thoroughly enjoyed it it was very relaxing some bars and restaurants are closed but there are plenty open . The stairs in the duplex are very long 17 steps you do need to hold the rail . Although there are few Niggely bits I would recommend. Short walk to bars shops and restaurants sea literally across the road very rocky but great for watching the surfers. Short walk to the harbour where we enjoyed looking for stingrays we saw 3 during our stay awesome .

Buendia caught our eye when looking for a holiday as we wanted something a little different. We wanted comfortable rooms, with space, well equipped, a smaller complex than others offer but not far from anything we needed. The hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, the beds are so much better than any other hotel I've stayed in, proper mattresses and a very big size main bed. The rooms are light and airy. The kitchen is modern with dishwasher and glass hob. Could have done with another unit for clothes in the main bedroom, a soap dish in the bathroom and an additional area to hang wet clothes on the roof terrace as the rail there was quite small. This is really nit picking as we were very pleased with the place, the restaurant bar is nice and friendly, Timon was very attentive, friendly and a real credit to the hotel. The food was lovely, ordinarily we eat at different places every day however after the first visit we went there a few times, never having a bad meal. Francesco in the welcome loft was very helpful for local info and the welcome Cava was a lovely addition at check in. We didn't need to but you can What's app for any help. The young man who is the lifeguard was enormously attentive, he didn't take his eyes off the pool. The pool beds are comfortable though there may not be enough for everyone when the hotels full. We would definitely recommend the Buendia and look forward to going in the future.

We visited Corralejo in mid July - just a few days before the UK government changed advice about travelling to the Canary Islands.
The apartment was great, clean and fully equipped for self catering with toasters, juicers and coffee machines, plus a dishwasher which was a bonus. It would have been great to have an oven, so that we could have cooked pizza etc but there was a multi-function microwave if you wanted to cook any ready meals etc. So this was a really minor issue as we did eat out quite a lot.
We had a duplex apartment on the lower floor near the pool and it worked well for us as we travelled as a family and with a teenager it's hard to find places with two rooms.
There were bunk beds in the second room, so if you travel as two couples sharing an apartment then you might want to consider this. I think other apartments might be slightly different.
The hotel staff were very helpful and there was still plenty of room around the pool if you wanted to sunbathe. I guess the hotel was under occupied when we went but there didn't seem to be any reserving of sunbeds and the whole place had a very relaxed vibe.
It was quite windy when we were there but July and August are the windier months, this does blow through the hotel as it's situated on a corner. However, we found this quite nice as it is quite cooling in the summer months.
The outside area outside our apartment was great with plenty of space and lovely sun bed on a block to relax on. We had yellow pool towels in the room which was a real bonus. We had a fantastic time staying here and will return.
If you want to stay somewhere that is relaxed, has modern apartments (with 5 channels of UK TV) and is very different from your normal hotel then you will love this place.
We were very dismayed to hear of the UK's government's decision to stop all essential travel to the Canaries, the hotel and all the businesses around Corralejo had made massive efforts to ensure that they enforced good standards of hygiene and mask wearing where necessary and the island as a whole had very few cases of covid -19.

We selected via a last minute deal enjoying wall to wall sunshine in mid Feb while back at home there were storms, floods and snow! In the 20s every day and being in a residential area was quiet compared to the busier resort areas. The place was built some time ago but only completed and fitted out recently, so everything is in pristine condition, modern and built for holidaying in the 2020s. We had a particularly well positioned apartment. The garden terrace, entrance and kitchen / diner / lounge was south facing and poolside, whilst the sleeping accommodation was upstairs at the rear with great sea views out across the bay to Lanzarote. Really contemporary furniture and kitchen with all that you needed (although there were only really three soft seats. The double bed was really comfortable - not hard like many Spanish resorts we've been to previously. The other room was bunks but we didn't try them as there were only two of us. The staff were all really friendly, helpful and good for a laugh and were a good complement to the excellent modern facilities. Excellent breakfasts - recommend the omelette with everything in it, really tasty. There were always spare sunbeds and all were the soft wipeable cushioned fabric type rather than the plastic ones you get in most places. I think the only downside was the pizzas we had one night - very average. The ones you can get in the takeaway behind the local Shell petrol station were much nicer and sub 7 euros.

Just returned from two weeks with my family and another family. We stayed in a 3 bed duplex which was incredible and so big. First of all when you arrive and walk through the doors you are greeted by the modern, cool pool area and reception, it’s so impressive. The loft team (reception team) are so friendly and helpful. There is a gym with all required equipment and the wave bar and restaurant next to the pool serves great snacks and drinks at reasonable prices (large portions). Our apartment was just perfect, large ground floor living area, an outside patio space that led straight to the pool area. Two good size double rooms and a bathroom and a large third bedroom with dressing area and en suite. You don’t need a hair dryer as the one in the room is high end and very powerful. The apartment is cool, well designed and had a good view of the sea, you could hear the sea at night with the window open. We have always stayed at hotels with air conditioning so we’re a little worried about this complex not having air con. However it’s not needed at all, with the windows open and the ceiling fans it’s perfect. Fuertventura has a constant gentle breeze and nicely cools you down in the rooms at night. The complex is perfectly located, only a 10 minute walk from the old town where you will find some great beach coves, plenty of restaurants and bars. The sunbeds round the pool are so big and comfortable, some are surrounded by a beautiful splash area that is about a 18inches deep. The pool itself is slightly heated and just gorgeous.
In summary having if you have viewed this hotel and considering visiting fuertventura then don’t look at any other hotel, just book it. Our friends had a two bedroom complex which was equally impressive with a roof top terrace. I would also recommend booking direct for best deals.
