Recently returned from a fabulous 5night all inclusive break at the Alisios Playa. We were a group of friends looking for a budget friendly rest in the winter sunshine. What a perfect place this was. Ideally located close to the shops and beach. We had 2 x 2 bedroomed apartments next door to each other which were on the ground floor and had an outside patio area with table and chairs. The apartments were a good size and clean & comfortable. I'd seen reports about their need of an upgrade which is true but to be honest with the price we paid we felt they were more than adequate and more than met our needs. You cannot expect 5* if you're only paying for 3*! Housekeeping kept them spotlessly clean, we always had hot water for 4 lengthy showers, clean bedding and towels changed regularly and the grounds were all immaculate. The pool area was hosed down every morning and they were strict about not reserving your sundbeds before 9am! The bar area was run by really friendly staff including Sally and served a great choice of drinks as well as freshly cooked snacks throughout the day. We had all of our all inclusive meals in the Labranda Corralejo Village Hotel next door. The food was absolutely wonderful. Such a great choice and something different served everyday with themed evenings too. They even served prosecco at breakfast, bottled wines at lunch and dinner as well as sangria and soft drinks. We cannot believe the standard of food offered for the price we paid. A few of us had massage treatments in the adjacent hotel which were fantastic and reasonably priced too.
All of the staff we encountered were so friendly but we cannot fail to mention the hard work of Gary - the crazy Scot who loves to make your stay a memorable one! We joined him on a beach walk and took part in the quiz night but he also organises several other activities too. We also found the other guests were really friendly and return to the apartments year after year so this speaks volumes about the place. We had an amazing break in the winter sun and would throughly recommend a visit here too. We're planning to return for sure.

Stayed at the apartments for 10 days (room 83). We were initially worried as it was next to the pool and bar and concerned about noise. Our worries were unfounded the Alisios Playa is a friendly and relaxed complex.
The rooms whilst a little tired were clean and when we reported a broken toilet seat before breakfast it had been fixed by the time we returned from the restaurant.
We paid for all inclusive which is provided in the hotel which adjoins the apartments and the food was fresh, plentiful and well worth the extra money we paid.
The staff are exceptional, all of them worked so hard and were friendly with nothing being too much trouble.
We have had a fabulous holiday, and would definitely return.

The accommodation is basic but clean and well serviced by the staff. The pool area is quite small which is actually a plus as it doesn't become overcrowded. The small pool bar is well stocked and also does nice snacks throughout the day. The restaurant is shared with the twin complex next door and is excellent. Very clean and well laid out, the food is beautifully prepared and fresh with plenty of choice as well as themed evenings. Freshly baked bread and rolls are always available.
Entertainment was organised by Gary with French Boules, killer pool and the occasional quiz as well as organized walks.
Found there to be a lot of tourists who come here year after year because of its relaxed atmosphere and value for money.
The staff here are excellent. Not only very hard working but friendly and always up for a laugh. If you want a stfipped back, relaxing, value for money holiday with great food in a good area, this place would be hard to beat.

Arrived home last night after a week at alisios playa. Emailed ahead to request a particular apartment and that was granted so thank you!
While this place is 2 star apartments you eat in the 4 star restaurant next door where there is always a good variety of food as well as 3 theme nights a week - Mexican, Asian and Canarian and they also put out the chocolate fountain on these nights.
Apartments are basic but clean we had a 2 bedroom apartment which also has a fridge, kitchen, sofa and large television with a few English channels. Bathroom shower isn’t great but fine for a quick shower. Beds are really comfy and we all slept well on these.
What makes this place is the staff and the other holidaymakers. Sally is always around if you have any issues or queries as well as running the pool bar during the day. Our son only made breakfast twice during the week but sally looked out for him making him a toastie when he emerged.
Yolanda on the bar at night is an asset to this company and a proper grafter as well as up for a laugh - she wasn’t here our last 2 visits.
And don’t forget Gary who is absolutely crazy from his bay walk and volcano walk to keeping everyone occupied with French boules, killer pool, football tennis or a trip up to the mini golf. He also does a quiz on a Monday and Friday night which is fun to take part in.
I find this resort has a nice friendly community type feel to it with everyone talking and getting on with one another. Was nice to see about 9 other parties in the resort that were here this time last year and everyone remembered one another. It’s like making new friendships.
Alisios is located about 5 mins from the beach and also the main shopping areas.
All in all I wouldn’t fancy self catering her but think all inclusive is fab value if you get a good deal and can’t wait to return next year. Go with an open mind and you won’t be disappointed as there’s something special about this place.
And if ur all inclusive just think the package has cost you less than half the price than the people next door!

This hotel needs a complete renovation as all rooms were sub standard, old & battered. You are not allowed to use the main hotel facilities except for the restaurant if you are all-inclusive.
Holiday makers should not be put in rooms next to apartments with residents in as they were all moaning & complaining on a daily basis which is not what you go on holiday to listen to. The pool bar seriously lacks entertainment & the equipment - pool table, table tennis table, air hockey was all old & broken. The pool was extremely cold & money should be spent on heating it if you are going to be an all year round hotel. Definitely would not book this hotel again as misled with the advertisement.

Dear Alisios Playa Guest, First of all we would like to thank you for taking the time to give a review and a rating on Tripadvisor and for choosing Meeting Point Hotels for your recent holiday. We are disappointed that you were not informed of the facilities included when you booked your holiday. Any guests , self catering or All inclusive are not allowed to use the pool area or bars of the neighboring Corralejo Village Hotel. we are disappointed that you did not know this as this has obviously had an negative impact on your stay. There is no entertainment actually advertised at Alisios Playa, just the one pool bar and pool area. We do hope that you will return to Corralejo, maybe our larger complex the Labranda Bahia de Lobos would be more suitable which offers several bars and entertainment and is also in a great location. We stayed here for a week over, Xmas. Check in was in the main hotel reception, which was very friendly. The apartment blocks are just a walk through the pool area, where music blared from early on. Our apartment sadly didn't catch sun at any time of the day, so breakfast outdoors was chilly and wet. And the windows were covered in condensation. The beds were very comfy as was the large sofa bed. Shame we couldn't see the tv due to its bad positioning. Walls are pretty thin.
One day we decided to use the hotel pool, as it was asked and confirmed on arrival that this was allowed. We had barely got comfy and were asked to leave by the lifeguard. As if checked in advance, I went in to speak to reception and was met by Sally, PR, who extremely bluntly told me I'd misunderstood or been lost in translation. (no-it was very clear), and made many references to class status. How the people in the hotel (Italians) had paid a lot to stay there compared to the apartment guests, and wouldn't appreciate folk frm the apartments using these facilities, that they've got a heated pool, the price difference is huge, etc etc. I was shot down completely and spoken over quite abruptly to the point of rudeness, being told it was a misunderstanding on my part. No. I actually was in tears, the fact that I was being made out to be some sort of scum and not at all welcome. Whether you've been in this job for a week or a decade, understand that care is part of hospitality.
So, what did we do? We went right back over the road to Oasis where we've stayed at 3 times previously but stupidly decided to give Alisios a go this year. They made us feel very welcome - we had enjoyed the first couple of days there also, as the music in the Alisios apartments was unacceptably loud and dreadful. No way could we have relaxed and been able to read in the sun. On departure, I spoke to the English receptionist and relayed the events. She was really nice, listening to us and giving advice and said they've now put a comment in the welcome leaflet to explain that facilities of the hotel are off limits to apartment guests. Which youd think would have been in place already. So, the plan for future is, obviously not to ever return, but stick with what we know. No management response required, thanks.

Dear Alisios Playa Guests, We would like to thank you for taking the time to give a review on Tripadvisor. We would like to apologize for the misunderstanding which occurred and as the receptionist stated the details of the facilities which can be used by our guest in Alisios Playa has now been clearly written into the information given out on arrival to avoid a re occurrence. Whist we apologize for the misunderstanding the fact still remains that we were unable to allow you to use the heated pool in the neighboring hotel as this was not the one which you had booked to stay in. Whilst other hotel groups may allow people from outside to use their facilities this is not the case for Labranda Hotels. It has nothing to do with class system at all. Alisios Playa is a wonderful, friendly little complex which offers its guest a pool and solarium to enjoy which is the one shown on the Jet website. just spent two weeks here, the grounds are kept lovely and clean. everyone of the staff are fantastic, you will hear Gary before you see him! a must is the chipmunk walk he takes you on, this made my grandchildrens holiday thank you. Yes the rooms are basic, beds are hard but I was given extra blankets to help, we go on holiday to enjoy the area not sit in our rooms, we had three rooms, 26 double,27 double and 66 family two bed roomed. We were a/i the food, what can I say ! you could eat and drink, as much as you wanted, plenty of wine, larger on tap and a large selection of soft drinks and hot drinks dispensers. there was a microwave if anything needed heating up. You are two min walk to the town center. We booked a ferry trip to Lanzerote with Jet2 Rep (you need your passport for this) well worth the day out. This holiday was the first time we had booked through Jet2 a great company to deal with from a mistake as we booked (my booking was changed to a differant hotel, I didn't notice until after confirming) I rang they cancelled and rebooked the correct hotel with no extra cost, you can even check your suitcases in at your hotel as you leave, all you have to take is your hand luggage! then walk straight to security. the planes have plenty of leg room I am tall and could sit staight, this was a first! We will be using Jet2 in the future. Cabin staff were awesome my grandaughter was travel sick, they helped her through the flight and kept coming to see if she was ok.

Firstly, our apartment, in a great location in Corralejo, was clean with ample facilities for a self catering holiday. However I could neither bring myself to return to the Alisios Playa nor recommend it.
The apartments are joined on to the Corralejo Village All Inclusive and it's their reception that you use for check in etc. The old reception on the other side of the complex is just an additional [unmanned] entrance/exit which seems to be permanently open. Although the complex has a high perimeter fence, there are gates which are permanently left open, presumably to save the residents using reception to go in and out. Although I closed a gate when I noticed it left open, it was always blocked open again with a rock. They may just as well have put a sign outside welcoming intruders.
A couple of nights into our holiday we were woken by a burglar in the apartment. The burglar gained access via the stairs to the next door apartment, over the flat roof to our balcony and through the [locked] balcony door. He/she didn't get away with much thankfully but the whole experience left us traumatised so much that a change of bungalow did not help and we decided too cut our holiday short and return home early.
I can't fault Jet2holidays who took details from us immediately the next morning regarding the incident and helped us to return early a couple of days later with grace and empathy.
Other than that, the pool area is very small and crammed with sunbeds [many in a very poor state of repair], always snapped up by 9am by the usual sunbed hoggers [many who didn't appear until after lunch]. Sunbed hogging - it would seem - is no longer a German condition. For those who can't go a week without a Pot Noodle or a loaf of Hovis, there is a British minimarket on site.
There is entertainment for those who want it and even the opportunity to upgrade to all inclusive which permits you to use the restaurant at the Corralejo Village and use of their far superior pool area. We did consider this as we thought it would enhance our holiday after what had happened but we always prefer self catering and one of the main reasons for us returning to Corralejo is it's fine selection of restaurants. Plus, at the end of the day we would still have to return to a bungalow in the Alisios Playa.
Unless you a]. don't mind the possibility of intruders in the complex, b]. like to be up with the larks to reserve your sunbed with your towel and c]. like to spend your holidays in a 100% British complex, then the Alisios Playa is not for you. I learned in no uncertain terms it's not for me.

One week self catering. No issues with Jet2. Staff were all lovely and the apartments are very central but owners need to spend money. Rooms are very tired, cold and damp. We had no sun at all in the apartment. Condensation was running down doors and windows onto the floor making it very slippy in the mornings so we had to leave door slightly open all night to reduce the condensation. Sun beds - the majority of them were broken and not fit for purpose. Piles of broken beds stacked up near pool. Broken tiles on floor of pool and on steps going in and out. Weather was great thankfully so we didn't have to rely on staying in the apartment.

We are disappointed to read that you did not enjoy your stay at Alisios Playa. It is true that in winter the apartments can be a little cold on an evening, especially the ones which are not South facing. the hot days followed by cold nights can cause much condensation at this time of year, however we do have heaters for rent and many guest have found this the perfect solution for keeping the chill at bay. The pile of broken sunbeds have now been removed and at this time of year there are sufficient sunbeds for all guests. We also have the newer sunbeds on the top terrace which is a real suntrap at this time of year. We thank you once again for your comments and send you warm wishes from Fuerteventura. Kind regards Sally Speight Public Relations Meeting Point Hotels

Having stayed here 5 times over the past few years, we love the quiet atmosphere rather than lots of noisy day/night time activities.
Rooms are spacious with large balconies. Plenty of storage with a safe in the wardrobe (small fee), a small kitchenette with 2 ring hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and full size fridge. TV with English channels. Bathrooms are large with both baths and showers.
There is a small supermarket with very competitive prices against the large supermarkets.
Food is of a good standard with a main restaurant and also a pool bar. We have stayed Self Catering and All Inclusive, we prefer SC as it gives you the option of trying some amazing restaurants on the strip and in the harbour area.
The main strip of Corralejo is a short and pleasant 10 minute stroll away, here you will find bars/restaurants and shopping galore, you will find some of the best duty free shopping here, bargains galore on clothing, perfumes etc.
We will definately be back.

Dont think the Alisios will be opening any time soon from what we heard in March.
I am waiting for the same answer as we also have a booking in September.
Not sure as yet altho we heard stories of them closing for refurb. Was looking to book for October but it's not available with any of the travel companies so far as I can see
