I have been to many 4 star holiday locations, but having visited Seaclub Resort in Alcudia for the first time, I do not agree with their 4 star rating. Interestingly, a website about Balearic holiday locations, also advertises the resort as being '3 key' ? A big negative was the very poor in room air conditioning, with minimal air flow, which made sleeping very difficult. A maintenance man checked the air conditioning and insisted the temperature was correct. This is not what I reported, as the poor air flow could not have blown a candle out.!This resort is nearly 30 yrs old but was supposedly modernised about 7 yrs ago? So to not improve the air conditioning was very poor thinking towards visitors. If power is the issue, you could have installed solar panels on the roofs of the resort? Another problem experienced was overnight rain, which left our balcony area filthy and unusable. This was due to brown residue coming off the roof as there are no gutters? Resort management will be well aware of this problem, as undoubtedly it will occur many times throughout the year. This mess from our roof was not cleaned for 2 days, as the cleaners were off the following day. Even then, this was not very thorough. The cleaning provided in general was as quick as possible and not to a high standard. For the duration of our visit, the same rubbish lay next to a patio area near our room. In the restaurants, we felt that the hot food items were tasty enough, but temperature wise, the food was sometimes barely warm, which again is not expected at a so called 4 star premises. On a positive note, all staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem. The location of the resort is also very good, but sorry the negatives outweigh the positives and we would stay elsewhere in Alcudia next time.…
My sister and I visited Sea Club last week and had a really lovely time. There was a great variety of food (we were all inclusive), the staff were very friendly and the local area was beautiful. A special shout-out to the staff at the seashell bar (particularly my new friends Ricardo, Hamza and Fernanda) who were incredibly helpful, kind and they always had a welcoming smile on their faces. Not to mention, they made the BEST cocktails! The friendliness of the staff was the thing that stood out to me and made the holiday that much more enjoyable. If you stay here, we would recommend visiting Alcudia old town which is full of beautiful streets and travelling around the coast of Mallorca to visit different coves. The thing that makes Sea Club unique from other hotels that I have visited is the kind staff that work there. They are amazing!…
Excellent holiday at Sea Club, the staff and management work very hard to ensure exceptional customer care. The rooms and facilities are very well maintained. The food as all inclusive goes was great and always a variety of options. Bar staff too many to mention did an amazing job. Pool life guards are great. Entertainment team Martina David Rebee Miguel & Ricardo were marvellous! With the Alcudia beach very near by just made our family holiday marvellous, thanks to the team and hopefully see you again soon. ❤️ Best regards
This was our second time at the Seaclub and we absolutely loved everything about it. The apartments are bright and spacious, the resort is kept extremely clean and well maintained at all times. Its close to local restaurants and shops and just has a great family vibe all around. The entertainment team is also great from daytime activities to night time shows, they couldn't have been nicer. Special thanks to Miguel who was just amazing, our little boy was so happy to meet him and admired Miguel's incredible dancing skills. We will most certainly visit again.
Second visit to Sea Club to celebrate our anniversary and it did not dissapoint. Just returned from 10 days and can't say there is anything negative to say about this hotel. The restaurant has all food well labelled which is amazing for someone who has an intolerance. The chefs/ staff in the main restaurant are very friendly and happy to help with whatever they can. Pablo is a great asset to this team. He always said hello. The menu at the snack bars is extensive and is great if you want a full meal rather than a buffet. The staff working at SeaShell were amazing and the service was fantastic. The grounds are kept immaculate and there are plenty of play parks, a splash park and 7 pools to entertain the little ones. The rooms are spacious, we had a premium ground floor apartment in Block C which is well placed for all of the amenities. Next time we will request an apartment facing the opposite way though as unfortunately we had no sun on the terrace in the afternoon. Big shout out to the lovely staff working at the Toby Club. Our little ones loved playing there and the staff are so friendly. Would highly recommend having a couple of hours in here if travelling with little ones. Riccardo and the animation were fantastic with the mini disco. The only slight disappointment was when the mini disco was moved from 8pm to 8.30pm which is a little late for small ones. Great location only 5 mins from the beach and a lovely 20 min walk to the harbour. Only suggestion I would like to make is to add catches/ chains to the apartment doors as my little one could easily open it and walk out. Hopefully going to start looking at booking my next stay here! …
Very impressed with the grounds, pools, food and specially the the staff at the Sea Club. Our welcome was friendly, the family splash apartments were comfortable and clean and we had sufficient food choices over a week to keep us happy and two children (age one and three) who are fairly picky eaters always had plenty. The gardens and pools are well looked after and I could not find fault.
It was our first stay in Seaclub and everything was superb. Our apartment was in block C on ground floo which we loved the most and our kids enjoyed so much time in splash park and pools. We were self catering so cannot comment on food. There is si much to do with kids.... pools....playgrounds...huge green grassy areas to just chill. The whole resort is huge and well looked after. It's 5 min walk to the stunning beach and restaurants are all around the resort. I trully recommend this place.
We have just returned from a family holiday to Sea Club, we stayed 30/5-6/6 and had a wonderful time. We had 2 rooms as there was myself, my husband and our 6 year old son, and also my mum who had her own room. The rooms were very clean, easily accessible and close to pools and snack bars. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, a special mention to Antonia on reception who went above and beyond to helps us arrange a hire car and tickets for marineland when we were let down by a trip we had originally booked. She was fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. The resort itself is lovely, lots of shops and bars and restaurants. The beach is a 5-10min walk away and is absolutely beautiful with white sands and clear blue sea. The port is a bit further but worth a visit and the market is twice a week, and reception will happily call a taxi for you to get there. We would definitely stay again. Food and drink was good, enough choice and if you're all inclusive (like we were) you could literally eat all day as the restaurant serves 3 buffet style meals a day but in between that the pool bars offer snacks(meals) too. Evening entertainment is OK, some evenings better than others but they try to cater to all. I also wanted to say Hamzar and Fernanda at the seashell pool bar were fantastic when my son had an accident on our last afternoon. He needed medical attention and they called reception and arranged the help for me when I was clearly upset. They were both very sympathetic and made me feel safe as when these things happen in a foreign country its 100x worse so thank you. We would definitely visit again! Thank you for a wonderful stay.…
Great holiday, lovely clean apartments with outdoor seating looking right out onto a pool. Cleaning came 3 times in a week, AC was fine but goes off during the night and woke up hot a few times. Lots of different pools and areas to sit and playparks. Great swimming for the kids and lifeguards watching. We went full board and didn't realise you had to pay for drinks at lunch and dinner. Buffet was delicious and lots of options, bbq meats, fish every days, some theme nights like chinese and mexican, plenty of fresh fruit and salads and yoghurts and desserts. Entertainment was okayish, kids entertainment was sweet. The hotel possibly short staffed as the staff could sometimes be slightly curt and seem overworked, the resort lacking some 'joie de vivre' and personality esp around the pool areas, could do with some music and more activities. Overall nice hotel and good food, close to the beach and would recommend for families with little kids. I wouldn't go back again but i dont usually visit the same place twice. …
Lovely little complex with plenty of pools and plenty of sun beds. Everyday without fail we managed to get sun beds right next too one of the pools which is great. The hotel rooms itself are spacious and very modern lovely large walk in shower, Large bedroom plenty of space for a family of 5. As the complex is so large if you get out over the back you very rarely see any staff only the cleaners who do a wonderful job daily. No shortage of fresh towels. Only downside is there isn’t any air conditioning in the rooms. No matter what anyone says the little fan in the ceiling isn’t air conditioning the rooms are cool in the day time but you’ll have trouble sleeping at night. Over our total of 9 nights I was averaging only 6 hours sleep because it was so hot in the evening, spoke to reception twice they just aren’t interested and just palm you off with a different excuse everyday. The evening entertainment is very poor and boring so we never used this facility and the bar is very expensive if your self catering €4.50 for half a pint of cruzcampo local bars your only paying €3 a pint for estrella or San Miguel. However a short walk there is loads of lovey but bars for food and drinks all reasonably priced. Pizza Angelo does a lovey fillet steak. I cannot comment on the all inclusive food as we didn’t have all inclusive however from what I saw I’m glad we didn’t book all inclusive as it’s not a buffet style all inclusive you have to order from a menu and wait for it to be cooked so a limited selection. Overall great hotel with great family pools however the entertainment and air con lets it down.…
