Porto Cristo is a beautiful place, and The Felip is a wonderful hotel. I have stayed in many places and hotels in Majorca since 1990s. The rooms are not too big, but the staff and everything else at this hotel are excellent. Paco runs a faultless bar and Isabel, Mercedes, and Silvanna are the most professional staff you could wish for. Enjoyed my stay so much last May, We have booked to go again in June.

Good food, service and beer. As cheap as any of the restaurant's with (in some cases) better food. Rooms much bigger than I was expecting and scrupulously clean. Excellent views over the bay with a lovely terrace to sit and watch people and boats go by. Nice sunset. If cold, you can sit inside and look through the floor-to-ceiling windows... Chefs always willing to please.

The main hotel itself is lovely, staff very pleasant. However we booked the budget option in the ‘Annex’ part of the hotel which is a separate building behind the hotel in the backstreets. The first room (320) was horrendous , was damp with a view over some panel blocks with crumbling balconies with laundry and had a squeaky bed in it. We complained at the reception and were moved to the front back street view of the annex. I never felt more ‘budget’ in a hotel before tbh. Food was lovely and the location and the spot of the main hotel is brilliant, close to the bay in the front; on Saturdays there was a market with local produce. Overall it is a lovely hotel but if you are on a budget you’ll be feeling here more than elsewhere, so if you can choose opt for the main building to avoid disappointment.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Porto Cristo staying at the Hotel Felip for 11 nights on a half board basis. We had a sea view room in the main building which we would definitely recommend. Everything we needed was so near. We had boat , and bus trips to other places along the coast and the taxi rank was close ,as were the useful small supermarkets. The view from our room was beautiful with the beach and the Marina. We enjoyed all that Porto Cristo had to offer and it is a little gem of a place in Majorca. The staff were excellent and we particularly want to mention Sara on reception who was pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and Silvana who made us delicious coffee each breakfast time . We really enjoyed our meals ,although we did feel that the guests would appreciate being able to read the main courses described ,on a notice board before entering the buffet dining area as so many of us were having to peer very closely at the little cards placed in front of the food. It would be more hygienic and save time when queuing and then wondering what to choose. The other thing that surprised us was that on arrival at the hotel there isn’t any kind of ramp to help guests arriving with suitcases that had to be carried up several steps. We also observed members of staff having to carry a snack bar up and down the steps each day to reach the pedestrianised area outside the hotel . We appreciate that if we asked then we would have been given assistance ,but surely these days accessibility for all including guests requiring a wheelchair should be provided. Our overall visit and stay at the Hotel Felip was generally delightful. OK the Wifi could be improved but the sun shone each day for us and we really enjoyed our time in Porto Cristo staying at the Hotel Felip and we have many happy memories. It would be our hotel of choice for a future visit.

I arrived at an unearthly hour after 2am. Nico was on reception and even at this late hour had a big smile and welcome. He checked me in and offered to carry my bags. My room is lovely. Clean, tidy and good air conditioning. Tea,coffee, water and a nice san miguel in the fridge. View from my room. We'll, what can I say other than I have a great view of one of the neighbours laundry. and worse🙃Probably the worst view I've ever had in any hotel. And I have no balcony but I have the beautiful cove for a full week. I am coming back in April with my daughter and hopefully we can pay extra for a seaview room. I normally stay in Cala Bona but have taken the ferry to Puerto Cristo and have dined here many times. I have found the food, service and ambience so great that the Felipe Hotel is my new Mallorca home.

This was our third visit to this lovely adults only hotel and it didn't disappoint. It was fully booked for the period of our stay but the standard remained high. The rooms are nice and modern, with an amazing view of the resort from the rooms at the front of the hotel, yet the hotel still retains a traditional charm. We stayed for 3 nights on half board, which is well worth it as the quality of the food is great, with a lovely ambience on the restaurant's terrace, where you can watch the sun set. We will definitely be back next year

Stayed at THB Felip in the resort of Porto Cristo 25th April - 9th May as a Solo Traveler on Half Board basis. From day one being greeted by Sara on arrival at reception, viewing room, bar, restaurant, checking out location and getting to know staff was a very good experience for my first day. The resort itself was quiet as it was pedestrianised but busy and had a great outlook to the bay from the hotel. This hotel, I can safely say, was one of the best I’ve stayed in for location, service, staff, food & drinks and of course quality of room for many a year. Staff were patient as I tried out my Spanish. Sadly I did not get everyone’s names as the staff were constantly busy and rarely stopped for chat beyond taking food or drink orders, just shows you the popularity of this hotel. Breakfast & Dinner were buffet style and one of the best I have experienced. Selection of food covered all variables and tastes, you were truly spoilt for choice with everything prepared & presented perfectly. Chef was on hand each meal time adding personal touches to requests like fried eggs, omelette, crepes, steaks etc. I can honestly say I did not need to eat the same thing twice during my stay. My compliments to the chefs. Drinks, I’m not much of a drinker now but still partial to San Miguel so this was my regular order though I did have wine with evening meals. Bar staff were very attentive and friendly and often went beyond what you would expect. I thank all the bar staff for their service and I hope I showed my appreciation by tipping well enough both bar staff and waiters. Special mention to Sara, Maria, Claudia and the guys behind the bar. Sara always getting out of her seat and gave full attention to customers enquiries and requests not just my own. Maria, amazed me in the number of languages she spoke with ease. Maria also as did Sara did everything to give a good guest experience, it was well noted. Claudia served coffee’s as you liked it each breakfast and with a smile even under pressure as it did get very busy at times. Claudia was also very attentive to tables at mealtimes making sure you had all you wanted and corrected other staff mistakes I won’t go into as some I expect were novices or still learning, we all start somewhere. Thanks to the Night Porter whom I did not get a name and served early breakfast alternative on two occasions with enthusiasm and smile even after I know would be a long night. All in all this was a great stay, all the staff played a part in welcoming their guests and providing second to none service. I give ***** Thanks guys you all know who you are even if I don’t. I look forward to visiting again. Todos los mejores chicos, John de Escocia. Date of experience: 25 April 2023

I don’t usually write reviews but felt last review was very unjust. We stayed at this hotel from 1st to 11th June this year and cannot fault it. the staff at THB Felip were without exception friendly and attentive. The room with a lovely sea view was spotlessly clean. The food both at breakfast and evening meal was plentiful and varied and the quality very good. The desserts in particular were delicious! I would recommend to anyone without hesitation.
