Stayed here for the second time this year. The apartments are clean and all the staff are friendly and help in anyway they can. The apartments could do with decorating but believe next year they are being renovated. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone and going to the hotel insotel Cala mandia on an evening for dinner is a real treat. Just a short walk from apartments the hotel is beautiful and the buffet has something for everyone. Wine is always available and seating never a problem. There is an adults only area aswell. We will probably try the hotel next year as apartments may not be available but this is a beautiful part of Majorca and the friendly people make your stay. Thankyou again for a wonderful holiday
Ideal if you’re after a more quiet hotel which is always clean and only a short walk to the beaches. Food and drink selection was great in the morning and throughout the day. The evening meal is in the sister hotel which is much bigger and busier although plenty to chose from. The staff are lovely and I would love to go back again! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!
We visited these apartments on a late availability break we had paid more for 5 days ( because of work commitments) than a 7 night holiday but when we arrived the apartment was clean but dated over looking the pool. Which was ok as pool closed at 7pm. The food was a different story and I don’t blame the chef as he can only cook what he’s given but the choices are pathetic very basic all inclusive burger, hot dog , pizza, for snacks and lunch was not much better the same again but with a meat and fish. Breakfast was poor as the jams were empty the cereal was stale. You had to go to the main hotel for your evening meals which was excellent lots of choice well cooked. The drinks were served in glasses where the apartments were in tumblers ( small ) sorry for the negative feedback but I blame the owners rather than the staff who worked hard …
Just came back from 5 night stay and really enjoyed it. Rooms are dated but clean, all staff is very friendly. Pool is nice and clean. The weakest point is food, breakfast and lunch is the same every day however dinners in Insotel are amazing and are making up everything! Drinks are very good, not watered down like in most places. Great location, 5 min walk to the beach. Shop just outside the hotel. Overall all good value for the money!
We went here for our first family with our son, we arrived around 3am and was made welcome from the receptionist. We went down for breakfast after having a few hours sleep and there was a handful of choices between a cooked breakfast buffet or your continental breakfast. We spend our first day around the pool at the Mandisur Apartments then went to the sister hotel for our evening dinner. Once we saw what was on offer at the sister hotel we upgraded to use all the facilities, ie swimming pool, kids clubs and all the buffet restaurants. If you have children it's worth the upgrade. The evening entertainment it well put together the only negative I have is that it doesn't start until 9.30 which is quite late if you have young children. The hoilday reps definitely made the hoilday for me and my son, making us feel apart of their team, they work incredibly hard and very long hour but always have a smile on there faces, I have a special thank you to Neo, who brought me out of my comfort zone and sung Giant by calvin Harris and rag and bone man in one of the kareoke evenings with me. The staff of at both the Mandisur and Cala Mandía are great and enterian the children. Would definitely return in the future…
The location is ok: you could reach by walk in 5/10 minutes both Cala Mandia and Cala Romantica. About the all structure everytihing is clean and the pool is modern and ok, but if you look for an apartment, the "kitchen" corner is really small and with really a few pots. We choose only the apartment option, without breckfast or all inclusive service and it was quite difficult to cook something with such a poor equipment. On the other hand, the staff clean the room every day, you have towels and sheets and a quite place. Not impressive, nor too bad...depending on your needs!
Very hilly, not enough staff, food rubbish cremated meat and salads, not topped up and left out all afternoon. The pool area not cleaned, dirty sun beds. The useless lifeguards not stopping kids from climbing on the dividing railings and jumping in,on to inflatables. No where to sit to have a drink only 6 cafeteria type tables and chairs. It is a walk across a busy road and up a hill to get to the other hotel for dinner, the food there not bad,but kids running around. We had a leak in the bathroom which we reported 3 times,it was fixed the morning we left. There is no secure place to leave suitcases, and we had to get changed in the toilets, where there were no hand towels and 4 screws where a drier had been. The few staff were very friendly but trying to do the bar and clearing the tables and the barman spent half his time mopping the floor. Not a very relaxing holiday it has an official 4 star rating, but considering the state of the place, the dirty pool area etc it is nearer 2 or 3…
Currently staying at this hotel, when we arrived we wasnt given any information, yesterday morning breakfast was cold and when mentioned to lady in dinning hall her response was put it in microwave, not acceptable. We go to what they call their sister hotel tues eve and 1 of the staff was chatting with us and asked what hotel we was staying at, we told him and he said right you are allowed to use our facilities as well as your hotels told us all about activities (fantastic) this morning we go down for breakfast and again it was cold. Complained again. Then we go to sister hotel and laying out on sun loungers and 2 life guards approach saying your not allowed to be here explained what we was told and they said no and was asked to go back to our hotel pool. Made a complaint and was told only if your all inclusive you can use other services. Been asking for price to up grade and no price given. This was not a cheap hotel in the first place.this was a hoilday for my daughters and friend who have never been away.…
These apartments are fine for those who book all inclusive, however we booked a one bedroom self catering apartment, the facilities for cooking were poor, with 2 old electric rings to cook on with 1 small saucepan and a frying pan, no toaster or microwave and to begin with no kettle although we were given one after we asked. The apartment was a bit like stepping back in time with the furnishings but the TV was quite modern and we could get a few UK channels. I liked the old bathroom as it had a bath and bidet which I prefer to the modern wet rooms, toiletries were supplied, we would have liked a lock on the door. It was a little noisy at times especially when the fun buggies across the road were rolled out at 7.00 am. The apartment was serviced 5 of the 7 days we stayed and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were surprised to find we weren't able to pay to eat in the restaurant because we weren't all inclusive or use the facilities in the partner hotel, but we found a good café just down the road to eat in and bought provisions from the may Lidls on the Island.. There are plenty of places to visit if you hire a car and can find the information, buses stop quite close to the hotel and the beach is quite close if you want a change from the pool although it's fairly busy.…
Upgraded straight away. It was like Greggs with a pool at the side. Other people who didn't upgrade moaned about the cold food. We were allocated room 2310 loads of noise during the day from pool and bar. Also at the back of apartment is a rental for dune buggies, you can imagine the noise from the proprietor starting them up. Save up and afford a better holiday. When you upgrade you still sleep at these apartments.
