As this is a new hotel, there are a few things I believe that could be improved, although this didn’t affect our stay at all.
The ‘VIP’ pool was only available for A block. Most of the sunbeds were empty and it would have been nice for all to access. The room was lacking a couple of essentials which would have made things a little easier. For example a brush and shovel as the floor got covered with sand and the maids didn’t sweep up for the entirety of the stay leaving the floor uncomfortable to stand on (were clean freaks). We would have also liked washing up liquid to wash up. The pool did a BBQ on Sunday followed by games - this was great. They also did aqua aerobics which got lots of people involved. The bar however is quite throughout the day and it would have been nice if they offered a happy hour to increase business.
Will definitely be coming back to this hotel - would highly recommend for younger or older couples wanting a relaxing holiday in a great spot.

The pool area is nice but space is limited. There aren’t many sun loungers and this would be a problem during peak summer time. The sun loungers are also lacking any cushioning, making them uncomfortable to lay on.
If you are travelling with small children, there is not much for them to do here as there is no kids pool/playground. Accessibility has also been an issue with a pushchair. Although there are lifts to the rooms, there are a lot of steps to get in and out of the hotel and not many ramps.
Breakfast at the hotel has been ok but seems somewhat limited. There isn’t much choice in terms of fresh fruits, breads, yogurts etc and it can take the staff some time to replenish when items have run out. I’m not sure if this is always the case or because we are coming to the end of the season. Any hot food items have to be ordered, which is not ideal with an impatient toddler.
Pool towels require a 10 euro deposit per towel and these can be collected from reception. Sun beds at the beach also require payment.
The room is fine and the beds are comfortable but there a few things that could do with updating. There is rust on the shower head and mould on the sealant. The bathroom overall looks tired and not what you would expect from a 4 star hotel that hasn’t been open long. There is no air conditioning in the bedroom, just in the seating area. There is no information in the room regarding the hotel/local area etc. We were also surprised there is no phone in the room to contact reception, housekeeping etc. When my husband queried this with reception, he was told there are no phones as people just use mobile phone these days.
Housekeeping has been hit and miss and its frequency seems to depend on the number of nights you’re staying. My toddlers bedsheet has not been changed in the 4 nights we have been here, every though there are clearly marks on there. Disappointing.
The location of the hotel is great as there are a lot of restaurants within walking distance. However with the choice of hotels in the area, I don’t think we would return to Marsenses Natura Olea.

The room was clean and comfortable and there were several places to but groceries locally.
The staff are helpful and friendly, and any issues dealt with immediately eg when we had no water, maintainance were onto it straight away and it was sorted with minimal disruption.

Very good location, 2 mins walk from the beach, 10 mins walk to the main restaurant and bar area in town.
Rooms are well set out to a high standard.
Two pools, one a good size and available to all, second a VIP pool for the rooms around it.
Lots of space around both.
The staff are top-notch, always ready to help, from the reception to the bar and restaurant staff and also the maid's.
They go above and beyond to make your stay the best it can be.
The food was excellent. Had the cooked breakfast 4 days out of 7, very nice choice, pluse continental buffet included.
Bar meals were again a very high standard, more like a good quality restaurant than a bar meal.
All questions and problems were dealt with immediately.
A very well run establishment.
Highly recommend it.
