BLUESEA Club Marthas enjoys a prime location cherished by guests for its proximity to beaches and local attractions, although some travelers suggest that the hotel could benefit from updating its amenities and decor. While the atmosphere is lively with nightly entertainment, the noise level can be disruptive according to several reviews. Cleanliness receives mixed feedback, with clean pools and public areas often mentioned, but room upkeep appears inconsistent. The staff is generally commended for their service, but the perceived value of the all-inclusive package is debated, with some guests pointing out additional costs and underwhelming food and drink options.

All in all a very average hotel, but has a lot of potential!
Starting off with the salt water... Seeing other reviews prior to setting off I was sceptical about this and found brushing teeth and showering in the salt water very bizarre.
The receptionist staff were far from friendly. The room was not made up every day and so one day had to go down to reception to ask for clean towels and toilet roll and the lady on reception dealt with it all quite rudely.
The food was extremely average, and would not recommend to anyone with allergies- a lot of dishes were incorrectly labeled or very vague meaning you had no idea what things are, especially the desserts. The ice cream machine was a nice touch though and breakfast pastries were great.
Drinks were very generous with measures however heavily watered down! To only have one bar with only one member of staff serving at a time is completely ridiculous.
The €1 cup deposit is fine and worked well in practice to avoid cups being left everywhere.
The rooms are very spacious and was very impressed with the layout and size. Air conditioning in both the living area and bedroom which could be controlled separately was an added bonus.
The entertainment staff were all very friendly and lovely however the entertainment did not seem to follow the daily timetable and seemed very 'ad hoc' - however we asked the aqua aerobics as advertised for the certain date and time and within 10 minutes this was put on which was very enjoyable.
The location of the hotel is about an hour from the airport and have lots of small shops nearby to stock up on water etc. The cove Beach 10 min walk away is lovely for a swim.

All in all a very average hotel, would not be recommending to a friend. However for the price you pay I would not expect a lot.

Hello emilyfR2866HA, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we are truly sorry to hear about your experience during your stay. We strive to provide a comfortable environment for all our guests, and it’s clear we fell short in your case. We apologize for the unpleasant smell in your room and the issues with the bedding. This is certainly not the standard we aim for. It is important to note that if you had communicated to reception that you were not satisfied with any aspect of the room or that you felt it needed a cleaning/maintenance review, we would have been happy to help you because, as you may have seen from other reviews, our hotel is known for offering a simple service and excellent attention to our guests. Regarding your concerns about the food and the service you received at reception,we would like to highlight the fact that we always try our best to provide a wide variety of options as we understand that culinary choices might vary. We are sorry that our choices were not up to your liking. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate the opportunity to make things right.Thank you again for your feedback. Rooms, dirty and outdated. Cleaners never mopped floor in a week.

Coeliac? Request to speak to chefs, do not speak to other restaurant staff and use Google translate. Food not to our 4 star standards, no reflection on chefs, they will have guidance on what they have to serve.

Cocktails disappointing. Bring a euro for cup. No water fountains within bedroom areas which would be of benefit.

Bring your beach towel. First hotel I've been to that charges a daily rate. They offer to sell you one for €20 but you can step outside and get 3 towels for €15. Explains all the Majorca towels we saw on the sunbeds.

Staff lovely. Area lovely. Great eating places outwith, which we had to do due to poor quality all inclusive food.

Attended entertainment one of the nights. Didn't float our boat, felt like children's entertainment (it was adults entertainment). Can't comment further as didn't attend other evenings.

Photos to show where attention is required in the hope hotel will address in time for the new season next year.

Rooms and buffet let the hotel down. Visited Majorca few times and this time felt deflated. As travelers with coeliac this hotel has the lowest standards and options around gluten free eating. This country has so many gluten free options and it's sad to see a hotel not catering for people who have coeliac, which is a medical condition and can leave one extremely poorly should they digest gluten.

I would like to assure staff at this hotel that the review is not personal to them as I believe they all do well with what the company directors give them. Company directors need to listen to feedback and address appropriately and support the staff in providing great experiences to ALL guests.

Hello lorrainebT7910BX, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay. It's disappointing to hear that the accommodation did not meet your expectations, especially regarding cleanliness and the food options available for those with dietary restrictions. We appreciate your understanding that our staff does their best within the guidelines provided to them. Your comments about the cocktails, towel charges, and entertainment have been noted, and we will certainly discuss these with our management team for potential improvements. On the other hand, we would like to explain about the use of the ‘plastic cup’ with a €1 returnable deposit. It is an attempt to reduce the use of disposable plastic, from the Blue Sea chain, we join the initiative of not consuming this type of disposable plastic, in this way we manage to reduce its use and contribute to the care of the environment. We are sorry if you did not appreciate it. We value your perspective on gluten-free options, and we will work on enhancing our offerings to better accommodate guests with specific dietary needs. Your input is invaluable as we strive to provide a more enjoyable experience for all our visitors. Thank you again for your feedback. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future, as we are committed to making necessary improvements.

A pretty average stay at what could be a nice resort.

Location wise the amenities around the hotel are mostly what you need with the marina a 10 minute walk and Cala D'or and the better beaches around 30/40 minute walk. I would advise renting a car if staying for a week or longer as you can do most of whats in the area in a few days.

The hotel itself was fine. We avoided all inclusive but did eat the buffet offerings once. Its very much what you get in most all inclusive resorts - its not great but its not bad.

The cocktails were average and the drinks were strong - although as we weren't all inclusive I can not comment on the "watering down" mentioned in other reviews.

The pools and the shower/tap water are all Salt water as an FYI.

Most recent reviews touch on the cleanliness of the resort but it is not the experience we had. Although we had no Ants (thankfully) we did find the room to be largely unclean with a lot of previous guests hairs from different parts of the body littered around the room and couch area.

The balcony is massive and a huge plus to the room.

In terms of the pool, the hotel claims it will remove towels left on a lounger if there is no person there for an hour - this isn't the case. In our week there 70% of loungers were claimed early but never had anyone using them which the hotel really need to action. My tip would be to get in and claim one early if you are genuinely going to be using the pool, or don't be afraid to move towels yourself.

Overall my experience of Bluesea Club Martha was excellent. The hotel is close to shops, bars and restaurants if you want to venture out and beautiful scenic sea views are a 5 minute walk. The hotel itself is spacious, plenty of sun chairs, as a group of 4 we didn’t once have to split up to sunbathe. The room could use a little maintenance, simple bits like a new shower head, redrilling the drying rack into the wall, but overall the beds were comfortable, the sofa and balcony are both big and facilitate groups hanging out. A lot of our time was spent in the pool, it gets deep quite quickly but there’s a child’s pool right next to it if needed. The food was very hit and miss in my opinion, some days were really great, there was an Asian themed night that was very enjoyable, travelling with a vegetarian and celiac made it a little trickier but we never went hungry, the food quality was good, just the variety, however feeding so many is always going to be difficult to please everyone! The highlight was the staff, everyone was friendly and helpful from the cleaning staff, bar staff, reception to the events team, it really felt like everyone wants you to enjoy your holiday as much as possible! The bar require a €1 deposit for cups which is returned when they’re given back in, so worth having change on you upon arrival. The events and activities were brilliant, there are events on throughout the day which are a great way to meet and chat with other hotel guests and the staff are energetic, fun and always smiling. The evening entertainment is varied and very well put together given it’s a hotel production, I wasn’t expecting the passion and enjoyment from the team that is very evident. The events team are superlative, they all went above and beyond and clearly take pride in their work. Having spoken with and done activities with; Paul, Elena, Lukas, Nick, Cintia and Merijn, I can attest to their commitment to everyone’s enjoyment of the activities and events. There are members of the team I didn’t directly interact with, however from the evening events, they were also brilliant! Paul has created a brilliant team, Lucas and Nick both have more energy than I’ve seen any one person possess, it’s hard not to get swept up and smile! Elena has a real talent and clear passion for dance, whilst the whole team shone, she still drew focus with the passion and love of the art, really enjoyed watching them all! A real asset to the hotel! Also as a side note, it’s great to lean into the events and get involved, it made the week a lot of fun and the team never made me feel like a drunken idiot 😂
I would recommend the hotel to anyone. My advice would be to hire a car if it’s feasible, but during the stay most places are walkable and felt very safe.

We paid £850 each for a 7 day all inclusive break . We arrived at 1.15 a.m and were presently surprised to be offered a cold buffet which was most welcome. On entering our room we were greeted with a musty smell and an overall impression of tired accommodation which certainly didn’t feel like a 4 star standard . Our room was not cleaned and bedding not changed once during the 7 days , “cleaning “ consisted of a towel change and merely straightening the top sheet of the beds. We had a constant problem with a toilet seat that came loose from its mountings as it clearly wasn’t the correct size for the pan. After two promptly dealt with repairs we gave up and were left to refit it ourselves for the remainder of the holiday. A similar problem was experienced with the room safe for which we were charged 15 euros plus a 6 euro deposit.

Over the week , in common with many all inclusive holidays we became fatigued with the food provided. The quality was very average and the range was very limited and we found the grilled meat offerings at times inedible. The dessert options were unimaginative, repetitive and reminiscent at times of school dinner puddings. On the plus side the dining room was spotlessly clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The outdoor areas are worthy of praise , being very well clean and excellently maintained. Great pools, air conditioned equipped gym and outside toilets all of a high standard. Sadly the one single outdoor bar serving the entire hotel made queuing for drinks a regular experience. All inclusive options consisted of the usual local spirits and San Miguel beer!

The hotel advertised late check out arrangements and when we tried to organise this on our last day we were refused the opportunity. Fortunately there are external shower facilities and luggage security lockers which made our departure less of a stress than the usual sitting around with packed luggage final day experience.

The biggest disappointments o about the holiday were the standard and cleanliness of our accommodation and the limited range and quality of the menu offerings. Whilst the latter is often mentioned in many all inclusive holidays the former is most definitely something that needs to be addressed and we were left with the perception that the room service was run with very limited staff.

Hello mikebK9210GR, Thank you for sharing your detailed review. We are sorry to hear that your stay did not match your expectations. Your concerns about the cleanliness, limited menu options, and the maintenance issues with your room are taken seriously. We would like to highlight the fact that in the Blue Sea chain, cleaning is done every other day, towels are changed upon request, as well as the change of sheets. However, we apologize for the inconvenience this caused. If you were unhappy with any aspects of the room, we would have done anything needed in order to accomdate you if we would have known. We have stayed here for a week at this hotel. Really welcoming staff, two main pools and a smaller child’s one. Sunbeds are a bit of an issue as people tend to put towels down 6am ish often not even coming to lay on the beds till the afternoon 😡. We did manage to get them usually in the afternoon now and again after breakfast if we were really lucky. The buffet restaurant always has plenty to eat three main meal times plus two snack times so you never go hungry. Obviously a little repetitive but it’s what you expect from an all inclusive. We had a family room which is two small
Doubles pushed together and then the sofa is made up with sheets. The rooms are a little dated and the air con was very noisy and not really that effective. When we arrived the air con unit in our bedroom was broken but a quick trip to reception and the staff sorted it asap and an engineer fixed it the same day so we can’t complain. There is a fridge and toaster etc in the room unfortunately the kettle and the toaster didn’t really work the toaster blew the fuse to the room
And the kettle wouldn’t boil not a huge issue for us with the all inclusive but a shame none the less. The maid service is minimal and our sheets weren’t changed once all week which was a bit annoying as the floors weren’t swept either and you get dirty feet easy which transfers to the sheets. Fresh towels weren’t a problem. Evening entertainment is fairly good but almost impossible to get a table unless you plant yourself there from about 6pm we actually ended up watching it from the corridor of the 2nd floor in the end. We have teenagers but the entertainment staff do a mini disco each night which the small children seemed to love. The hotel is in a good place near all the shops and other restaurants which we did visit 3 of. Short walk to the beach which is the real selling point. Such a beautiful beach clear sea plenty of sun beds but they are €6 each and if you get an umbrella spot that’s another €3.50 so after doing that once we opted for the sand and towels.

Myself and my partner have just returned from a three night stay at the hotel. Overall we had a good stay, we would return however maybe not go all inclusive.

Pros:
1. The hotel was clean
2. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
3. Room was cleaned daily with clean towels
4. We only sat around the small pool so cannot comment on the bigger pool however it was clean.
5. We arrived at midnight and they kept the restaurant open for sandwiches.
6. The hotel is around the corner from a strip of shops, restaurants and bars. As we were only there for a few days we didn't venture much further than them apart from a forte which was a
10 minute walk with amazing views.
7. We were all inclusive the food was nice however I think we would have found it repetitive if we were there for a week.
8. A good few selections of drinks on the all inclusive drinks menu.
9. Had good activities throughout the day and entertainment on a night.
10. There is an on site photography who takes amazing photos around the pool area.

Cons
1. We stayed in building 4, the bathroom had an awful sewage smell however this could have been due to the flooding the previous week.
2. No water at the bar for all inclusive had to pay €1.80 however could get water in the restaurant for free.
3. You have to pay a €1 deposit per cup for a drink for all inclusive drinks which can be inconvenient and can only pay with cash.
4. They use salt water in the shower and pool.
5. We had to put our towels down on the sun lounges by 8am or we wouldn't have gotten one later in the day.
6. Around the small pool they didn't have many adjustable sun lounges.
7. In the restaurant they didn't replace the buffet and milk when it had ran out.
8. They are meant to offer snacks in an afternoon, however they only had hot dogs and slices of cheese available.
9. They have a storage room for suitcases with lockers in which you to pay for.
10. In the restaurant they staff are quick to tidy your plate and drinks away when you leave the table to get more from the buffet and don't replace the cutlery on the table straight away.

Fantastic stay, great clean hotel, great location. I was worried as some reviews were not great but the hotel was great. The room and all parts of the hotel were always clean. The food was nice but repetitive but its what you would expect from an all inclusive,a couple of evenings were extra nice- sushi one evening was lovely and there version of a roast dinner, the beef was delicious. The bar opened at 10 and closed at 11 but after this time you can pay a small price for your drinks which was reasonable. €1 for a cup is great,as it stops cups being left around the pool. A short walk to the beach and a short walk to shops, bars, restaurants. The pools were lovely and the deep end was really deep, the sunbeds we got daily at 7am pools say open at 10 but I think that's the time the lifeguard starts so if you have children you would be expected to watch them if you used the pool before, there was a children's pool also which was shallow. We used the pool by the restaurant as it was quieter and the main pool was alot of sports and aqua aerobics. The evening entertainment was really good. We visited the bar you pay for and the cocktails were nice and reasonably priced.
We visited sparkles bar with karaoke till 11 then it becomes a nightclub, great atmosphere.
Boat trip on a catamaran- very sick next time if ever I will ensure to take travel sickness tablets. The sea was so choppy in cala d or area but the boat trip to mondrago the sea there was typical majorca waters shallow and calm taxi cost €9.80. The room had a hair dryer, air con, large balcony, pool towels are to be brought with you but next time it would be cheaper to buy over there at €4 a towel from the shop up the road. All shops really reasonably priced, we bought 4 x2ltr water for €2.50 in the spa shop. Cashpoint outside hotel. Only recommendation is to addaxouple more toilets maybe one near the restaurant as their was on toilet by each pool fir the entire complex, ok but annoying to have to leave the restaurant to use the toilet. (Unless there were more we were unaware of.) I would recommend this hotel to families, friends, couples- it would suit everyone its a great location and the staff were all friendly. 10/10

Dear 223carrieannel, Well, we must admit you didn't stop for a second during your holiday, and we love it, because that's what a holiday is all about, exploring, getting to know, discovering, and not stopping for a second. In your comment you explain the many activities you did in Mallorca, from a catamaran trip to fun times in the pub. However, with us, you also felt totally at ease, enjoying our facilities, or tasting some of the dishes from the buffet. You also had fun with the entertainment team, and you were comfy thanks to the pleasant atmosphere of our resort. We are very pleased with your feedback and would like to thank you for sharing your busy and fabulous experience. We also thank you for choosing us to see you back soon. That's how we like our guests, with all the willingness to go the extra mile during holidays. So, as we said, we will be waiting for you. Best regards. Blue Sea Club Martha's.

The rooms are spacious but the quality of the bedding is poor. The cushions are thin as sheets of paper. The worst thing about our room was the foul smell of sewage coming from the bathroom, which has our great despair never abated.
Turning to swimming pools: completely overcrowded, the swimming pool environment quickly gets dirty. The sunbeds are extremely tight and umbrellas are a rare commodity, it is really shameful at this level of rafting.
Please also note that hotel guests usually book their deckchairs from 7am with towels. As a result, you can be sure that at 9am you will not have a chance.
In short, since this hotel has no interest, it is better to book a hotel near a beach (the local beaches are very beautiful). But really, go your way. After a day wading through the murky water of its swimming pools, you will only want to escape from the hotel for the day.

Well what can I say about this resort? Absolutely beautiful place to stay.
The staff: They were welcoming from the minute we walked in. The entertainment team go above and beyond and work so so hard! Pablo was so funny and the kids loved spotting him around the hotel and throughout the evenings.
The pools: not a single complaint, always clean, lifeguards always on hand, our kids spent hours each day in them!
The Food: always something new and plentiful on offer. Everyday there would be a meat option, a fish option and a vegetarian option. The freshly grilled food was especially popular. The puddings were all lovely and the ice cream machine was a nice touch. The staff were always quick to clear the plates away and would give us a gentle telling off if we tried to clear them ourselves telling us we were on holiday and to rest. We did have a pizza one evening as there wasn’t anything on that we particularly wanted and it was 100% worth the money, delicious!
The all inclusive bar: the re usable cup idea, absolute genius! It made sure the pool and bar area were clear of clutter and empty cups/glasses. Would have liked to see more cocktails on the AI menu but we were more than happy with what we had!
The rooms: unfortunately they are very dated and not quite up to 4* standard. We had issues with ants on the first night but we reported it to the reception team and it was dealt with within 10 minutes and they never came back again. The air conditioning is a welcome addition to the rooms as it was so hot! Overall we had an amazing holiday here and would return in the future if the rooms were to be updated.

Hello 882sheenab, Thank you for your detailed and kind review. We are delighted to hear that you had an amazing holiday and found our resort a beautiful place to stay. It’s wonderful to know that our staff made you feel welcome from the moment you arrived and that the entertainment team, especially Pablo, made your stay enjoyable. We’re pleased that the pools were a highlight for your family and that the food offerings met your expectations, with a variety of options each day. Your positive feedback on the freshly grilled food and the ice cream machine is much appreciated, and we’re glad you enjoyed the pizza as well. We’re also glad that you found the reusable cup idea at the all-inclusive bar to be a great solution for keeping the area tidy. We’ve noted your suggestion for more cocktail options and will consider it for the future. Regarding the rooms, we appreciate your honesty and feedback. While we’re glad the issue with ants was resolved quickly, we understand that the rooms could benefit from some updates to meet 4-star standards. We will take your comments into consideration as we look to improve our accommodations. We’re thrilled to hear that you would consider returning in the future, and we look forward to welcoming you back for another wonderful stay. Best regards, BLUESEA Club Marthas

O don't know about upgrading upon arrival. The restaurant meals can be paid for individually. Really you don't need Togo all inclusive, there are a dozen restaurants within a ten minute walk of the hotel.
