My daughter and I had the most relaxing perfect holiday staying at Marsenses. So much so that we extended it while in resort!!! The hotel is located on a quiet tip of Cala Ferrera with direct access to the beach and walking distance to a plentiful amount of bars shops and restaurants. We had a room located in P block with a view of the gardens it didn’t matter that we didn’t have a pool view or sea. The aesthetics of the room were calm large bed bathroom with a wet room shower everything catered for including mini fridge. Cleaned every other day. Plenty of towels etc. steps away from the pool area which also had access to the beach. The pool area was relaxing a calm with gentle music played most days. Plenty of sun beds. Attentive staff who would bring drinks and food. The buffet restaurant was clean and had good choice of food and well presented. At breakfast you could order dishes cooked to taste eg omelettes eggs Benedict. Staff remembered you and were always on hand. Sometimes the hot food was not piping hot but I think it’s because not being a huge turnover of people eating at the same time. Didn’t spoil the food and I did notice dishes being removed and replaced so had no concerns that it wasn’t being monitored. The menu options to order lunch were also good as the drinks and cocktails- Sangria was delicious!!! Prices at what you would expect. Aline the hotel facilities manager was there everyday checking that all was good and ready to attend to anything which needed resolving. We had an issue with our shower which was addressed immediately. There was a mixture of ages and nationalities at the hotel and everyone was friendly. We had some live singers a couple of the nights we were staying and although the audience was small they engaged everyone and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Whilst staying it was my daughters birthday and they staff presented her with a cake decorated the table left a lively message and complimentary Cava! I have stayed in many hotels over the years and this is one of the best we will return without a doubt.

We’ve just got back from our first trip to Cala D’or and stayed at this beautiful hotel.
The adults only side is lovely, has a super chilled vibe and is in a great location. Hope this info will help if you’re thinking about booking here (do it! 😊)
Rooms - very spacious with large bed and sofa. Balconies vary but most are large, we had one with a balinese bed which was amazing. This gets damp from moisture overnight but soon dries out in the sun. Would recommend booking a pool view or sea view room if you have the option, we booked a pool view which was really lovely. Safe available at €3 per night. Good size fridge in room perfect for a few bits. Shower is great, powerful and can go very hot or cold. Just watch the shower mat as the shower screen is not really big enough so water does go everywhere!
Pool - this is freshwater which was lovely to swim in, the water fountain is very relaxing to listen to. Nice chilled music playing through the day. Always lots of sun loungers available. Hotel provides pool towels so no need to bring with you. They did aqua aerobics one day which we joined in with, great fun!
Restaurant - we ate on the outside terrace for every meal, it was so lovely to sit out by the pool, felt more like being in a ‘restaurant’ rather than hotel buffet. Nice variety of food, some breakfast items such as omelettes, eggs and pancakes can be cooked to order and plenty to help yourself to. Could be warmer but this is often the case with buffet.
Evening entertainment a few times over the week which is after the dinner service, this was great and we enjoyed listening from the balcony.
Location - really close to the beach, and 5 mins from the edge of the local town where you are absolutely spoilt for choice for bars, restaurants and shops. The harbour is about 30 mins to walk to, we would definitely recommend heading over this way, again lots of bars and restaurants.
Small gym in the main hotel which was good to be able to use.
Overall we had an amazing time - would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return! 🌟🌟🌟

We had wonderful, relaxing 1 week stay on our first trip to Cala D’Or in the Marsenses Ferrera Blanca Adults Only hotel. We had arrived around 1:30pm which is before the normal check-in time of 3pm but room was ready and we were provided clear instructions on options for room cleaning and how to get to the room. The junior suite was very clean, modern, spacious, with a large comfortable bed and had a small fridge and a balcony with table and chairs overlooking a garden. There is a very small additional charge for the room safe.
There is a freshwater pool with plenty of sun loungers and sun shades for those who want them. The hotel provides pool towels which means you don’t need to bring these with you and there was some water based activities some days if you want to join in the fun.
We stayed half board and loved the variety of food that was on offer. Each evening had a different theme and there was also a chefs special on offer each evening. We were sat on the outside terrace for every meal and the staff were always attentive and really friendly. Breakfast had buffet options as well as items including omelettes and American pancakes that could be ordered from the menu.
There was evening entertainment a few times over the week after the dinner service, and we also loved the acoustic guitar player one morning at breakfast.
The hotel is really close to the public beach, down a set of steps beside the pool, and a comfortable walk to the resort centre which has a great choice of bars, restaurants and shops. The marina is about 30 mins to walk to and is worth a visit during the day and in the evenings, again this has plenty of bar and restaurant options.
Overall we had super time, would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back for a future visit. Finally, a huge thanks to Aline and the rest of the hotel staff for looking after us over the week and especially the wonderful surprise on my wife’s birthday!

I wanted to give this 4 stars but there were too many minor issues. €3.50 per day for a safe that’s already in the room is not good when you are advertising yourself as a 4 star hotel, this is expected in 2-3 star hotels. I’m not sure whether the air con actually worked or not, it blew out cool air and was just about ok for June temperatures but any hotter and it would not have been adequate. The small bin in the bathroom was not adequate, we had to bag rubbish up ourselves. We were told the room would be cleaned on alternate days, which I don’t have an issue with but when nobody came after 48 hours we had to call reception and even then all we got was fresh towels. The hot water did not work on the first night, this was attended to promptly and fixed in all fairness. The cockrel every morning was slightly annoying but I don’t expect the hotel to do anything about this as that’s just nature and I understand that. There were too many sunbeds around the pool and all crammed in together even though they are not all being used, just stack some of them up and if it gets busy then put the rest of them out, there is a lifeguard who doesn’t do a lot so I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem. The pool was very cold to the point I just sat on the edge with my feet in to cool down, I think it needs to be heated unless it’s July or August. The room did smell very damp and all our clothes seemed to be damp when putting them on, could do with some proper ventilation. You had to be careful with the shower as it would flood the bathroom as it was the same level as the floor and the screen wasn’t very big.
On a positive note, breakfast was good, a nice touch having freshly squeezed orange juice, a rarity these days. Location was good, a nice stroll into the centre and 100m from the beach. Staff were polite. The complex was clean and had a nice new feel everywhere. Rooms were nice other than what’s mentioned above, we only had the egg chairs on our patio but they were very comfy with the soft cushioning. We really enjoyed our stay but you shouldn’t have these issues in a brand new part of the hotel that is advertised as 4 star.

Hotel has had a refurb and part of the hotel has changed from all inclusive to adults only half board. We have visited this hotel multiple times over last 10 years. Love it to say the least. We were not that bothered by change in drinks package as we like to go out in a evening after eating so used to purchasing drinks. Rooms have been refurbed to a high standard also pool and restaurant area very nice. Very peaceful and calm around the pool which was nice and plenty of sunbeds available. Staff at this hotel always go above and beyond where ever they can. Which makes a real difference. Havi, Pedro, Angel to name a few excellent service. From Cleaning staff maintance, reception, and all bar and resturant staff just cant do enough to ensure your stay runs smoothly. We love this hotel and would only stay here when visiting Cala dor

Could not have been happier with the location of this hotel. The rooms were first class and included a fridge, kettle and coffee maker. The attached private balcony was equipped with a Bali bed as well as coffee table and chairs. The adults only pool was a perfect size for the number of rooms and it was pleasing to see only the occasional “saved” sun bed, which was unnecessary as there were plenty available. The restaurant had seating both inside and outside overlooking the pool and the food was varied and of good quality. Evening entertainment and both a harp and guitar at breakfast were excellent. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful, with special recognition for Aline, who always stopped to check everything was perfect. Highly recommended for a child free getaway.

After reading lots of good reviews we decided to book this adults only hotel. Our experience didn't fully match the reviews .
The Pros. The staff are nice and helpful. The hotel and the grounds are clean and well maintained. The room (Q201)was cleaned daily and the Bali bed on the balcony was a bonus. The hotel is in a quiet location(excluding the cockerels)and within easy walking distance of the main town.
The Cons. The food is bad, cold and bland with a few exceptions. Breakfast is ok but the "English sausages" should be labelled vegetarian as there is no meat in them. The evening meal is dire unless you like salad and chips. The fish is dry and overcooked, the paella is overcooked, I cannot eat pink pork for the fear of becoming ill, I commented on the vegetables being cold(6:45 when the restaurant has just opened) the chef took them away to be heated up but before removing them he touched the rest of the food with the back of his hand rather than using a probe thermometer.
All the above cons where brought to the attention of management but no improvements were made during my stay.
I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

4 star hotel which is actually a 3. The common areas are clean and nice but about the rooms (at least the one we were assigned) very bad. Non-existent cleaning, they have not passed a broom in 8 days, the second day they did not empty the bathroom bin and dirty towels left them on the couch. A terrace in which at night you cannot be since there are cockroaches (considerable size). Come on I do not recommend it at all with the offer in Mallorca.

We had the most wonderful stay at MarSenses hotel. Everything about it was perfect.

The location of the hotel was perfect - you are a few steps away from a gorgeous beach and within 20 minutes walking you can reach 3 other absolutely gorgeous beaches. The town is a 10/15 minute walk away with lots of restaurants and bars. The bus stop is also 5 minutes away to reach further beaches and markets.
The staff were so lovely and made us feel very comfortable. Pedro, Javi, Sergio and Laura made our stay extra special, always being very smiley and friendly. Aline was especially great at going around and checking with all the guests making sure everything was okay.
We would definitely recommend MarSenses to anyone looking for an easy, relaxing and beautiful holiday. Will be returning!
