We stayed in the two bed Esmeralda ‘villas’ (the older ones) and the million dollar view was worth every extra penny we paid for it! We also loved the fact that we had two additional exclusive pools we could use for block S which meant that we never had trouble getting a sunlounger. I don’t like to get up early on holiday to reserve a spot! The main pool and hotel area was heaving with people so we stuck to our smaller pool.
Our house keeper Yves was fantastic, the apartment was cleaned everyday with new bed sheets and towels which we hadn’t expected! She also greeted us with a lovely happy smile and a chat everyday and made us feel very welcome.
We would never normally pick a hotel as we prefer to hire our own villa but this place was recommended to us by friends and I can see why. The view and the location is second to none. Nestled between two beautiful beaches and walking distance to restaurants and shops. It didn’t even take long to walk to the marina.
Our only complaint was the apartment decor… well really just the worn out horrible uncomfortable sofa. It would change the whole room aesthetic at a small cost just to change these to something nicer! However, this doesn’t change my rating of the hotel.

Fantastic apartment in the S-section. Spacious, nice, clean and very practical (for exemple with racks for wet beachtowels and swimwear). Lovely pool and terrace! Nicely decorated and comfortable beds. Spent a week here, overlooking the beautiful turquoise water of Cala Esmeralda. Friendly staff!

We have stayed at the Inturotel resort in Cala d'Or multiple times at the Sa Marina hotel but stayed at the villas this time for a bit more space and the shared pool amongst the 7 'apartments'. We have come to expect everything to be super clean at an Inturotel hotel and this was no different. Clean, with super efficient daily maid service. Friendly staff too as we have come to expect. The 'villas' are really nothing more than an aparthotel, very similar to the Sa Marina with more room. Two good sized bedrooms, two bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen/diner/living space. All clean and in good order. Air conditioning a bit hit and miss but ok once get the hang of the controls. We stayed in S102, one of the 'superior' villas with better decor and a few extra features over the regular apartments. We had steps from the bedroom and balcony down to the decent sized 'private' pool shared by the seven apartments, very cool. Didn't have to put towels out, or reserve sunbeds so all good. Good location with plenty of restaurants, shops, pharmacy all a short walk away. Absolutely no complaints and would happily stay here again, albeit a little more pricey than some of the alternatives.

Great location and beach. Hotel staff were friendly.
The apartment had lots of flaws and finishes were not well done. There was mould in the shower, the telephone did not work and was not fixed even after complaining. The airconditioner did not work and was also not fixed after complaining twice. We stayed in room s203. Supposed to be premium but it did not feel premium
