We are very picky people, yet my wife and I have nothing but the best to say about our experience at Palazzo Scotto. Without a doubt the key factor was the phenomenal service of the owner, Valerio. We've never seen a hotelier take more pride and care in every detail of the stay -- from making sure we found the hotel in the middle of a major festival with streets blocked off, to taking care of our parking, to making sure our coffee hit the breakfast table at the very moment we ordered it, to calling our restaurants to make sure our experience was unique -- he was brilliant. We stayed in the trulli, which we highly recommend. It's what makes Alberobello Alberobello! We DID joke that they were built for people who are Hobbit-sized, however. Needless to say, we highly recommend a stay here.

This small boutique hotel is ideally located and provides world class guest service. Valerio who's family has owned it for many years is just unreal as he is on top of all the details and needs of his guests. Anything we requested, he immediately provided. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Wife and I spent a couple of weeks in Puglia with extended stays in Alberobello, Gallipoli, and Lecce. Our first stop was Palazzo Scotto and after having driven from Rimini for five hours, I was not a patient guy. Valerio was at the ready upon our arrival and his steady, detailed and patient demeanor immediately put me at ease! We had arranged to stay for three nights at the "off-site" property...about a three minute walk and the final night in the main building. This was Valerio's recommendation and despite my reluctance to pack and move...I'm very happy we invested the extra 30 minutes to do so. It's no wonder that Palazzo Scotto is a destination property in Puglia as it's owned and managed by Valerio. Take advantage of his knowledge of the region and eagerness to help.... I've included pictures and I have to say, both rooms were very quiet, architectural statements on trulli design, and beautifully appointed. While we enjoyed nearly every other property we stayed in Puglia; Valerio and Palazzo Scotto were the highlight. From Alberobello, we easily visited Bari, Monopoli, Polignano, and Matera.

Incredibile place, really worth visiting! Perfect service, thoughtful manager and the crew! Only the best experience 👌🏻👌🏻 Not only this hotel with roof terrace was breath taking! Manager already had restaurant booked for us in advance, so we wouldn’t have to worry about anything. If You are planning to stay in Alberobello- consider this place.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Palazzo Scotto. The trulli room in the garden suited us perfectly as it was very private with breakfast in the garden and a private entrance to the small street at the back of the hotel. The manager of this hotel is exceptional and is completely committed to ensuring that his guests have the best possible stay. Very highly recommended.
