I stayed here for two nights found it on the internet and very glad that found this place, great location probably one of the best in Rishikesh with the perfect Ganga view very helpful staff helped me carry my luggage from Lakshman jhula parking to the hotel. The restaurant is only in house they only serve in the room the food is very good you can enjoy your food sitting in your balcony with a great view . Worth every penny will come again soon.

The USP of the hotel i will say is the location. It is located just next to the Laxman jhula and all the rooms offer uninterrupted view of the river and the bridge. The hotel staff is Courteous and well behaved. I have made a direct booking for a standard room for 2 nights for which the price offered by the hotel was better that what was offered on sites like MMT. The hotel staff wend ahead and upgraded our rooms to deluxe on our arrival. Tips: All rooms above ground floor offer balcony (but private balcony is only available in suit rooms on the top floor. Ground floor rooms can be avoided as it doesn't have balcony but provide lawn access. We stayed in room 112 which i feel was one of the best apart from suit rooms on offer. The hotel doesn't offer free parking hence vehicle needs to be parked at paid parking located aprox. 250-300 mts. from the hotel.

During my first visit to Rishikesh, I stayed at a 5 star hotel. While the hotel was good (as expected), it was far from the Ganges, Laxman Jhula and all the local action. When I travel, I like to stay in the best possible locations - I am not traveling to stay in good hotels that are far away from where I want to go. I came across this hotel while walking across Laxman Jhula and have been staying here since (my fourth stay now). Rooms are basic, clean with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. There is no fridge in the standard rooms, but they offer lots of coffee, creamers etc. The location is unmatched - every room faces the Trimbakeshwar Mandir and has gorgeous views of the Ganges and Laxman Jhula. The markets and restaurants are within walking distance. It is a short walk down to the ghat and the beach (where you can see several folk doing morning yoga). The manager, Mr. Suraj is super helpful. He has helped me each time by arranging taxis, Scootys or anything else. Yes, this is not a 5 star hotel. There are no fancy rooms. There is no great restaurant on site. But the location, excellent management and proximity to the main attractions is priceless. I will continue to come to this hotel on my annual trips to Rishikesh. Highly recommended.

Kunwar Residency is one of the finest hotels in Rishikesh. The location is the best and the view from the room is mesmerising. The staff is very courteous and prompt to help with anything you need. It is next to Laxman Jhula and opposite the Holy Ganga river. The room is spacious with all amenities. The taxi stand is very near and a 10-minute walk to the main road. The food is very yummy and the quantity is enormous. Paratha, poha, hash brown are lip-smacking. Would highly recommend staying in this beautiful place to make your trip memorable

It is a good Hotel to view the floating Ganga and mountains with famous temple of Rishikesh . This property is right on Laxman Jhula , after few steps down can reach on Laxman Jhula . From the balcony of the rooms view the Ganga and enjoy your tea sitting there is amazing and other side of Hotel is a Good market having many Vegetarian restaurants. Hotel staff is good and cooperative . They have kitchen for room service and their food is tasty . Only draw back is that kitchen is not round the clock they opens around 9 am that means no bed tea and they closes around 9.30 pm by which you have to order dinner around 9 pm . Also they dont have any restaurant or open area to enjoy your meal. Rest all other is nice in this Hotel particularly location is excellent , rooms are very good and clean simple toilet. Worth to stay here to enjoy rishikesh and Ganga .

the high cost does not correspond to high standard & services
in-room breakfast (which you might wait as long as 1h or 45 minutes) is sadly experience, breakfast is poor
room is not made daily unless you agree and leave the key. never had this experience in any other hotel.
door to terrace not airtight at all! need heather at full speed all night
personnel are always available and prompt, just to solve missing items (heather, face towels, room shoes)
definitely not at the level you may expect for 100€/night.

We stayed at this place for 2 nights 3 days. We had taken 2 suite rooms as we are group of 4. This place is indeed one of the best place to stay in Tapovan over looking the Ganga River. The staff was also helpful as well as polite. Special mention for the Receptionist Mr. Suraj who was helpful. We have 6 meals here 3 Breakfast, 2 lunch 2 Dinner and all the time the room service was very very good. The food was made as requested and was fresh as well. We were travelling with a pregnant mother, and we after reading one of the reviews saying it has no restaurant it had made us a little skeptical. But after reaching thr we have had no regret the mother was comfortable. They have room service so it’s not really a worry

This hotel has by far the best location in Rishikesh, just beside The Ganges and laxmanjhula. You will get excellent views from the balcony of each room. They provide nice, clean rooms with balcony views. Food ordered was good in taste. Definitely a must stay hotel if you are in Rishikesh.

Great views of Laxman Jhula, a courteous staff, Suraj at the reception was helpful. Hot water, a small heater and a clean room was all that was needed. Would have preferred a room at higher level, but the one I stayed at was one above the ground level and good enough. The gnd level ones may not have a clear view of the jhula. Lots of eateries around, and a temple right across the hotel.

The only positive were the views across the river, after that it’s all down hill! On arrival our room smelt of urine. Our second room was dirty and dirty bedding. Breakfast was appalling and came 1.5 hours after ordering. We packed to leave but given the best room to stay which was better. Staff were useless and we only got clean cups and glasses when we e took the dirty ones to reception who were rude and aggressive. No one came to clean our room throughout our stay. The hotel was in need of repair and decoration. Don’t go is all we can advise
