Swiss cottage and spa by Salvus is a unique hilltop budget hotel in Rishikesh, The room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities, such as air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a mini-fridge. The bed was comfortable and had a Dunlop mattress. The bathroom was spacious and had a separate shower and bath. The staff was very hospitable and attentive, and they catered to all my needs and requests. The food at the restaurant was tasty and had a variety of dishes to choose from. The spa service was relaxing and rejuvenating, and I enjoyed a massage and a facial by expert therapists.

This hotel is good, pocket friendly, hotel staff is polite & cooperative. You will feel near nature/mountains. They have their cafeteria and provide breakfast, dinner which is little bit costly but overall its perfect if you are looking peace. It is in mid of Ram jhula and Laxman jhula, you can take a walk to both the places or auto from road. Room , bathroom is clean spacious. Early morning you can see the beauty of mountains.

I stayed in salvus for over a week and those were the peaceful most days ever.
The rooms are very neat and spacious and the whole property is very green and clean, the whole mountain range was visible from my room and staff is very friendly and prompt. I am definitely going to stay with salvushotels everytime I visit rishikesh.
The food is exceptionally delicious and you get value for money with the stay as well as with the food.

The hospitality at Salvus Swiss Cottages is very attentive. In addition I could feel the kindness and caring of every employee. Anuj was especially attentive The beds were comfortable and the shower hot water did not run out. I have been been a guest twoce now and I intend to return next year. I can heartily recommend this hotel! I had a short stay this year, Next year I will book Pankhaj for a massage too. Regrets that I did not have time, I have heard very satisfied reviews

Stayed there for a night. Pocket friendly, cooperative staff, lovely owners, lots of eateries/bistros around, careful that it is on steep top (for people with medical conditions) and no parking for four wheelers so you have to walk up (we didn't know this earlier!). Safe, quiet, breezy on the rooftop, has a cafe. Better to book in advance to get a room of your choice.

It is a very budget friendly place to stay in a very peaceful Tapovan area just about 750 mtrs from Ram Jhula. The room service was superb; and more than the taste of the food, the immediate response from the Restaurant is appreciable. The girl attendant in the Restaurant was really helpful and assisted our stay to be comfortable. At front office, Mr. Lokesh who normally stays during the day time is worthy of mention and he attends to the grievances of the visitors at the very first available opportunity.

The service is amazing very COVID conscious keeping guests safe but still enjoying the experience and atmosphere. Thank you for my surprise birthday cake. It's the thoughtful things venues do that matter and bring you back again and again. I also enjoyed the spa . Have to say this is the best cottage with spa in rishikesh. I really enjoyed staying there . I loved the veg Biryani also . There is also a pool very clean . Rooms were very much clean and smoking and non smoking rooms were separate. They also provide with five star camps and other adventurous services like river crafting.. My host Mr. Ishan is a very humble man.

The best hotel recommends in Rishikesh. I recently stayed at this hotel and I was blown away by the exceptional service, amenities, and overall comfort of my stay. The room itself was too spacious with a Ganga river view and had everything I needed to feel comfortable during my stay. I like the hotel's open terrace for breakfast with a wide-angle Ganga river view.
How can we forget staff? All the staff was very decent, polite and helpful. I forgot my bag at the hotel reception. When I reached the airport, I found that my bag had stayed at the hotel Reception. The distance from the hotel to Dehradun airport was 45 minutes. When I requested the hotel to deliver my bag at the airport, They delivered my bag with 😊 at the airport free of cost.

King Suite did not make me feel like a King AT ALL. It was just a big ass room that was held together somehow. It was more like a haunted room you see in movies. The pillow covers were stained & dirty. The room floor was sticky when I checked-in. The couch in the balcony had cigarette holes in them. The main door was screechy & so patched. The view from the balcony was concealed by overgrown tress. If the room is sold for the view, the tree branches should have been trimmed so it does not conceal the view. Breakfast was horrible. While the junior service staff was cooperative, the Duty managers were very unsupportive & were missing whenever things had to be escalated. Parking was 300 mtrs away & charge at Rs.200 which was never highlighted.
