The place is a hidden gem among the hills and flowing Ganges. Very serene, calm and peaceful resort. The scenery is breathtaking. Leaves a very positive impact to come back again. Nivedan & his team are an epitome of courtesy and hospitality.
Better bring food from home , no body will serve you food there. Property although situated at good location but it is highly understaffed. During breakfast we literally called for food again and again . Good place to sit with family but one has to adjust with poor service
Warm and welcome feeling! Great hospitality shown by the General manager and all the members of the team. Immaculate rooms, with tastefully done decor. The view and sounds for the rapids in the Ganges raised the experience to another level. Undoubtedly will be back again soon.
The Hotel can be rated as one of the best we have stayed in India. From the point of Check-in, room service, quality of food, pleasant nature of all the staff, and the help in arrangement of local travel was outstanding. Our stay was overseen by the Hotel Manger Ms Meenakshi, who can be rated as one of the best Ambassador's for the Taj brand we have ever come across. Her professional, friendly attendance to each of her guests was truly priceless
Beautiful serene place with perfect Taj group hospitality… Always at its best. Appreciate the entire team, with special mention of Rupali, Chef Upadhya, HK team member Rohit!! Keep it up. The small but beautifully kept property was admirable. And so was the Ganga Aarti on the private small beach! Enjoyed every moment at the resort.
This is an outstanding property and experience. It’s serene and stunning. I was only there for 1 night and 11/2 days and never left the property. It’s rejuvenating. It’s also very luxurious being a 5 star. The food and drinks are delicious too - some outstanding local fare:
It’s a beautiful property ,very close to river Ganges . Very peaceful and serene . One gets spiritually connected with nature . Beautiful surroundings The best part is doing Ganga Aarti .Just few steps to river Ganges .Rooms are spacious ,neat and clean . Food is good. Staff is very helpful and courteous . Worth staying .
The hotel is at a magnificent location, the room was clean and comfortable , well heated. the Ganga is serene n so close Could have increased my stay if only. The breakfast was delicious, chef Ashwin helped us with all our dietary needs
Location says it all, I have yet to see another hotel which gives a better view of River Ganga in its mystic glory. And then waking up to Rohit Kapri's flute is something everyone would want to experience. Indian dishes of Chef Ashwin Ingle are commendable. The hotel could gear up on the infrastructure and upkeep and addition of more cuisines(apart from Indian). its biggest asset though is the view it offers and location. Meenakshi and Rupali were a great help in extending our stay. Special mention for Rohit Rawat Singh and Yogesh in house keeping for the efforts they took in decorating each room differently every single day with floral patterns as well as shapes they even made diiferent Ganesh ji for Ganesh chaturthi each one different than the other for every room.
It is a beautiful property, the highlight being that its near to the Ganges and therefore picturesque. The place is small but cosy for spending good time with families and friends. The staff is very helpful and nice thanks for making our stay memorable . It is a bit unlike other Taj properties (as those are many times extensive in everything, including aspects like buffet breakfast etc), this one is as i shared is cosy, but fairly decent to spend time
