My husband, my brother and myself stayed at this hotel. We found it cosy and clean and I enjoyed the views pf the mountains and river. But what really made it was the staff who were really helpful. Pradeep the manager was especially so. Little touches like filling up our water bottles with filtered water so that we didn't have to buy more bottled water (we didn't want to create the plastic waste) was sweet. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant!

The manager made me a discount for 1000 rupes a night, so I stayed for three nights, and the quality of the room service is so amazing, it’s just charge as same as the cafe on the street. Everything is clean, clean sheet, clean pillow, kettle, perfect for travellers who are looking for good quality and affordable price. Yoga room on the rooftop is top knot, Ganga view. 10/10

I visited this hotel 24th to 26th September with my wife and two child.
Hotel near to laxman jhula and market. One has to walk 20-25 steps to reach to the hotel which is fine.
View from room is awesome, prefer third floor room. View from restaurant and terrace is great. Rooms are small.
Food is good but with limited options, room service not available in room and no tea before 8:30 am and after 9:30 PM. So not a perfect place for tea lover.
Staff is supportive and friendly.
If you are looking for extra mattress for kids they will ask you extra 750 rs per night, which I think is on higher side.
For Ram Jhule is 20 min walking via goa beach or one can take taxi for 100 rs available.
Overall great experience, giving 4 rating only because of tea not available before 8:30 am.

Awesome hotel to stay for friends & family, you get amazing view of Ganga and Lakshman Jhula, Opposite to Little Buddha Cafe. Room was very clean, well maintained and excellent service was provided by the hotel staff. Food was great, we had all inclusive package (deluxe room with breakfast). The rooms were well maintained with comfy beds, AC, small fridge, cupboard and toiletries Recommended for people visiting Rishikesh.

Had a lovely stay at Shiv Yog Sthal, rooms were clean and pretty with mountain view. Food was cooked nicely with less oil and good quantity. The quality they are providing with such attractive rates is amazing. I would love to come back with my friends and family. Parking is just 100 Meters away from the hotel and 100 INR per day. Ramjhula is just 2 kms away, it was a nice walk till Parmarth Niketan with my two old mothers and husband who hardly walks in Delhi...

A splendid location on a bend of the Ganges, with an amazing view, and perfect management. We must thank Mr. Narendra, the owner, for his great availability and hospitality despite his busy schedule, and all the staff who are always kind, friendly and attentive. Thanks to them we were able to easily and punctually organize several trips with reliable drivers (even if communication is not very easy), we ate excellent and varied food, admiring the view from the large windows, and enjoyed a very nice and clean room. Both the rooms with and without a view are comfortable and comfortable with very large beds (king size). Also very convenient for returning to the room and relaxing is the beautiful SPA on the ground floor, where we treated ourselves to excellent Ayurvedic massages at fair prices; on the top floor yoga courses are held in a large room. We were delighted to have discovered this place and this hotel, far from the noise of Rishikesh. The evening Aarthis along the ghats and in particular the most engaging one at Parmarth Niketan can be easily reached with a walk in a natural environment and along the splendid river bank.

Shiva yog sthal is a good hotel. Rooms are decent. But the Service was slow. The manager of the Hotel Mr Pradeep was not much helpful & nor the staff of the hotel were kind enough to help us with our luggage. We had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. As soon we entered the room there were black ants all over the floor. We asked the hotel staff to clean it & they cleaned it after we requested them. We had checked in to the hotel after 6.00pm even after that the rooms were not cleaned & keys were handed over to us without checking if the rooms are made up or not. Also we had made another bookings & had booked 2 rooms for 1 night during our halt while traveling back to delhi. At that time I had contacted the owner of the hotel Mr Vicky & informed him that we will reach the hotel late night around 12.00am. He was kind enough & assured us that the rooms are ready & we don't need to worry about it. We had booked one mountain view room & one base category room. But He made sure that our rooms are together & he asked the Manager to upgrade our base category room to mountain view room. View from the rooms is good if you book river view room. But the Hotels staff were not too helpful. As soon as we reached the hotel around 11.45pm the person sitting at the reception did not even helped us to take our luggage up to the reception as the hotel entrance has 6 to 7 stairs to climb. Hotels location is good but not that great. It's on the opposite side of the Laxman Jhula & it's too hectic to reach there with your luggage by crossing the laxman jhula by walking. If you go by car then you will take additional 30 min to reach the hotel. But if your are in search of a budget hotel then go for this one. It was a decent hotel with good view of laxman jhula. The street had many cafes & shop. It was a good experience.

I have booked Shiv Yog Sthal for 3 nights in Aug, 2021 for my family. The experience was very refreshing, especially after being in lockdown and in restricted movements for months in 2021. We got our reservation to Superior Room which had a wonderful view and it turned out to be an amazing night for all of us. We had buffet breakfast with lots of variety, delicious food and great table service. We ordered our lunch and dinner in the Restaurant and again the food, whether snacks or main course exceeded all our expectations. The place is great relaxing and rejuvenating, especially after the pandemic. They have great and a well experienced team to cater to all your needs, be it room dining, restaurant dining, kids dining, cleanliness, room service. The staff is very polite, courteous and helping.
Must mention the quality of the food again. It was pure Veg and served hot. Finger licking and delicious meals all the times. We tried other outlets apart from the hotel but finally decided to had all our meals there only.
Had it been an option, I would have given 6 stars to the food quality.

I have found Shiva Yog Sthal Hotel by doing my personal research while already in Rishikesh.
Hotel Shiva is a Rare Find! Superior to many other hotels in Rishikesh with High Standards implemented by the Owner personally, who is there every day and with a great pride manages everything. The Owner, Narendra is also very helpful with any needs you might have.
It’s a pretty new hotel opened just a year before Covid started.
Rooms are Spacious and comfortable, bright and very clean with views of Ganga river and the garden in front of the hotel. There are nice, good quality linens and towels. Bathroom is nice and Clean, equipped with toiletries. TV in the room Hot water all the time, on demand
The Entire Hotel and Restaurant is kept Really Clean with the High sanitation standards.
Great Plus is a restaurant with the beautiful views of the Ganga river and Rishikesh. It offers tasty, wholesome food, prepared Freshly to your individual preferences (not too spicy as it was in my case). The Chef and waiters are going above and beyond to satisfy your needs. I was very impressed with the high standards of service at this restaurant.
I have been working for one of the largest Airlines Company in the USA, Delta Air Lines ..as a Flight Leader on Board for 32 years flying all over the World, staying in many Hotels and Retreats during my career. Travel Industry/Hospitality Business is my Profession.
I was very happy to find this hotel while in Rishikesh … during my stay I felt really taken care of .. with my many personal requests, with room service, room cleaning. The entire Hotel Personnel was very friendly and helpful.
I actually came for 10 days Panchakarma Retreat to Aaravi Healing Retreat (which is located on the main level at Shiva hotel). I absolutely loved my Morning Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga classes at the the beautiful Yoga Shala located on the Top floor of Shiva hotel … gorgeous panoramic views of Ganga river, Rishikesh and the surrounding mountains.
Hotel is located just a few minutes walk from beautiful Ganga where local Aarti Ceremony is hold every evening. Highly Spiritual experience. It is like a little oasis located AWAY from the street noises (honking cars and scooters)
EVERYTHING I needed for my Picture Perfect Retreat (Amazing Panchakarma and Ayurveda Treatments, Great Hotel and Restaurant) was conveniently located at One Place.
I highly recommend Shiva Hotel for all the high standards being kept and for the Great Value! Prices are very moderate for such High Quality Services!
