First trip out of my house since March 14th after 278 days was soo worth it! A friend had recommended this property, and being an international F&B professional myself, I was a bit skeptical...
I reached the resort in Rishikesh from my house in Delhi, faster than the time it takes to reach Noida and back! Left my house at 10 am, reached airport, flight took off 12 noon, landed 1225, got my luggage, stepped out at 1245, driver took me to the resort, reached and checked in to my room by 1330 pm! Amazing!
From outside looks deceivingly small, but a totally different story inside and the magic back!
Awesome landscaped garden and a private access to the Ganges river with a walk-in bank in the water!
The rooms were clean, cozy disinfected and had essential perfumed oils burning. The food menu is healthy and excellent. Housekeeping was quick and efficient.
My only gripe was the painting in my room above my bed was a bit crooked! Haha, that's just the OCD in me!
I wish I had more days to stay there. Regarding the view, I'll let my pictures speak for themselves!

The stay at Yog Niketan by Sanskriti was most comfortable and the food varieties and quality were delicious. The cleanliness and decorative aroma at reception, inside the room and in restaurant was thoroughly rejuvenating. The decorum, hospitality and politeness shown by staff was highly positive and descent right from booking up to seeing off events. The view of Ganga river with the backdrop of mountain from Premier room's balcony and also from inside the room was mesmerizing. On the backside of this property there is clean bank of River Ganga ji illuminated fully during night time. Spending moments here with continuous enchanting of OM and few excerpts from VED literally make you feel pious and in vicinity of Divinity.

My friend and I were in Rishikesh for yoga. Yog Niketan by Sanskriti is practically next door to the Iyengar yoga studio but more importantly is that the hotel provides free yoga classes twice a day (morning and evening) on site. The yoga teacher, Apana Rana, was excellent and very competent. Yog Niketan is near Ram Jula but we also took a taxi to Luxman Jula where we integrated in a yoga teacher's class. There is a yoga class or two at every corner. As for the hotel itself it provides a full breakfast and has an on site restaurant with home-made organic meals at a reasonable price. It faces the Gange's and its boardwalk. So that was also convenient. The staff was friendly and efficient and the rooms, although plain were clean except for the bathroom which wasn't as clean as we would have like dit to be.

For the first time we chose such a hotel and till date I regret about it. It’s a very small property with average rooms, only usb about the property is the view which is amazing but the price at which the hotel is labelling the rooms is not worth! Initially we booked for three nights but spending one night was terrible there!
Problems: Our room was not clean properly Restrooms were dirty & trust me dirty is a very nice word I m using Bed sheet were dirty and each and every thing I made there staff to see. We reached around 12-12.30 in d afternoon, we were hungry , we went to the restaurant & they told us that they can’t serve anything as they r cleaning? Asked us to sit outside the restaurant, imagine! Finally after an hour of there cleaning, We ordered white sauce pasta ,cheddar sandwich and masala tea what we got was opposite, regular dip tea, white Sauce pasta was terrible and sandwich was changed to regular veg sandwich on there own! We asked them to take it as we were already facing issues with room cleanings and sanity and they added with wrong food! Lastly we told them to refund our money back as we didn’t pay for such bad hotel experience but front staff was terrible & handled it very poorly, not a penny they returned , all they gave us the extra money we gave while booking. Trust me this Hotel is not worth 7000 a day... Most import there front desk person wasn’t wearing mask during entire day and cleaning staff was without mask and cleaning the room ?
Now what else one person would expect. We managed to stay for a day as we had paid , 2 nd day we checked out early morning to Lemon tree premier and saved our 2 days!
Only families who can compromise on sanity and hygiene can visit there!

I just love the location of this hotel, its on the ganges only opposite to parmarth ashram! Such mesmerising views we have got around us of Ram Jhula, Parmarth ashram, shatrugan ghat is also nearby.. There is a proper walkaway path where you can walk near ganga kinara, the hotel have the provisions of direct access to the river ganga! You can hear ganga aarti from parmarth asharam which is exactly on the opposite side, the best part of this hotel is food we just love the food, their team of cooks are amazing! Chinese, italian, north indian food were simply awesome me and my family enjoyed the food thoroughly, but pls do include steam momos also from next time in your menu, their dining area is also very beautiful plus point is they offer complimentary yoga classes and the yoga teacher Mrs Aparna is amazing, i took 3 classes and had an amazing experience with her. But i find few negatives they don’t have lifts so it’s difficult for adults to do up and down frequently, the restaurant is in the basement and for elders who are staying in the premium rooms; its very difficult for them to come down so i ordered food for my mom in the room itself. Also from privacy point of view, balconies has to be covered with a side partitions.. there is no privacy at all and also infrastructure of the rooms should be more upgraded with good mattresses. Overall i enjoyed my stay in this hotel as the location is very good also the food was amazing and i suggest the team of hotel should work upon the lifts facility and more from a privacy point of view.

We are regular guest of YogNiketan and seriously after visiting end number of times except room quality and view YogNiketan is not offering much aginst the room charges that have been charged to guest.
Quality of housekeeping services is very bad and upkeep pf washroom and maintenance seems not happening regularly.
Buffet option in the morning is very limited and what ever is available gets out of stock which is not at acceptable.
Not at all worth paying such a high tariff considering the food option and level of services given to guest by YogNiketan.
After escalating this to GM - Varun he gave excuses of pandemic which is seriously not at all acceptable as the tariff they are charging are same what they were charging before pandemic.
Only if you planning to stay at YogNiketan it's perfect property otherwise food options, housekeeping services etc is not at all worth paying for and management is not at all bother to give comfort to guest at stay. . Thanks Room No 116

As per the limited options for the food we have already cleared to you at the time of booking that we are opened but with limited options in the restaurant and a printed menu is also available at the rooms which are available to serve and the charges taken is also 30% less for the original cost of the hotel . As per the concerned raised at the property for cleaning the car we have earlier mentioned you personally that we are working with the backbone staff and refilling the staff so we are not able to wash your car , which even doesnt come under the housekeeping manual of the hotel . As per the concerned raise by you the Boutique manager Miss Anjali has personally visited the room all the services were up to date like a/c , tv , shower etc . I think this whole thing connects with the cleaning of the car , we will try to give the car cleaning facility on your next . I hope you will agree with my answer . Our family's stay for two nights (from 14th to 16th December 2021) was excellent. Premium rooms offered balconies with uninterrupted view of river Ganga & Parmarth Niketan, whereas, deluxe rooms had beautiful gardens and direct access to river banks. Evening Ganga Aarti was visible & audible from rooms balconies & gardens was beneficial for elders.
Staff was courteous & very helpful. They were taking extra-care to meet need of visitors.
Good & fresh food was served with proper hygiene.
Beds & mattresses were cozy & clean, sleep quality was very good.
However, few rooms needs little maintenance.

The location is superb, just on the bank of the Ganges you can say. Walk out from the gate behind and you are faced with the holiest river, what a view! You look at your left, Ramjhula is there. You look to the right, you get the full view of Janki Setu, the newest hanging bridge of Hrishikesh. Just opposite to the other side of the river are located the famous places of Hrishikesh like Geeta Bhawan, Parmarth Niketan. The whole bank this side is well maintained and cemented so you can take leisurely evening or morning walk and of course, you can dip in the Holi waters whenever you like.
I tried for the upper rooms but those were booked and so I got a room on the ground floor which proved to be better since you can just walk out to the river and also, the restaurant is on the same floor.
Staff behaviour is very nice, helpful. Restaurant staff and services are fine. A very very nice hotel. Hope to stay there again and recommend to all known people.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location. It's located halfway between ram jhula and lakshman jhula, opposite Parmarth niketan ashram. It has a roadside entrance, accessible by car and another gate which leads to the pedestrian path by the river. In fact one of the daily Ganga aartis is held very close to this hotel and is only a couple of minutes away on foot.
The rooms are comfortable. The fittings and fixture in the room are beginning to show their age. We stayed in the deluxe rooms, which had a back lawn and river views through the boundary wall. The premium rooms are on the higher floors and offer unobstructed river views.
The service, although not warm or effusive, is efficient and prompt. The breakfast buffet doesn't have a lot of options, but the ones on offer were tasty. I would've rated it higher, if not for the fact that the room rates were somewhat similar to that of mid tier chains like Holiday inn, Radisson blu etc.

Special thanks to the reservation team they have given me the backup room 111 at the very last moment that shows a very sweet gesture for the repeted guests . This room is having the same spaces and view . On this visit i found a few changes in the restaurant the menu sitting arrangements musical nights over saturdays specially , ganga arti in campus etc . All those efforts makes you connect through out with the property . One suggestion - Arti should be every day so that any one who just dont wants to go out for arti they can do it at the hotel .

Well they have a dining room- and meals for lunch and dinner can be ordered as per your requirement- however, they also have a buffet breakfast which is quite substantial. So you can eat at Yog Niketan and I will not call it a restaurant because it is only for hotel guests.
There are more places to choose from in the Rishikesh area.
