We did a short family holiday to Rishikesh after almost 2 yrs since the lockdown. We totally loved our stay and experience. The location is so scenic, waking up Ganga ji view from our room was simply mind blowing. It’s an ideal location far from the hustle of the main markets yet easy access to main markets & Triveni ghat by even local transport. If you travel with elders of the family they are sure to love it for the sheer care they receive from the staff, the wellness package, yoga & pranayama sessions and the Ganga ji scenic view right from the room. The staff at the front desk and kitchen was very friendly and caring. The wellness team deserves a special mention. I personally loved the experience of the wellness center & all the massages that i experienced. Dr Tejendra Singh, incharge took personal care of each of us and the therapists Manorama and Shalini were very well trained, gentle, polite and very caring. I totally felt pampered & rejuvenated . The food is simple and more like home cooked healthy meals. My fav part was the access from the hotel to the pathway “ marine drive” behind the hotel which is adjoining the Ganga ji … my long morning walks enjoying the sunrise on the scenic pathway sure is a memory etched forever. Special mention to Manjeet the hotel incharge who took very special care of every small requirement of ours, was very polite, proactive and enthusiastically gave us suggestions of things to do around. He is very open to feedback and took immediate care to ensure a good experience. All in all I’m back in person however in spirit in still there. Thank you team Modi wellness for our stay & lovely experience I’m sure to come back again very very soon. :)

Visited the modi yoga retreat with family for relaxation and destressing. Views of the ganges from the room had a special calming effect. Food was homely and hygenic.Ayurvediic massages were pain reilieving and soothing. We all had personal sessions with Dr Neeru and Dr Suchitra. Both are well qualified and specialised. The best part offered over there was reiki and sound healing session by Dr. Suchitra. It was an amazing and soulful experience. Will definitely recommend to others.
Had a great time there with family.. Special thanks to Mr sumit for helping visit the triveni ghat for ganga Aarti.

We had an excellent vacations at Modi yoga Retreat. The location is just 20 minutes drive from Dehradoon Airport and only 10 minutes driver from local railway station. It is on River Ganga, and few minutes driver from Triveni Ghat where Ganga Aarti is performed in the evening.
The property is known for its wellness, but we had a family reunion. The infrastructure is recently built up and rooms are much bigger compared to other properties. Property is very cozy and family friendly.
F&B is excellent not in taste but also in service.
The staff across the property is very courteous and friendly

It was my parents 46th anniversary on 2nd may and i booked this hotel through my travel agent(he advised me this hotel.
When we reached there, there is no guard at main gate to open the gate and there is no proper parking(parking is on main road and no valet parking).
Nobody came to assist us , i had to walk to reception and tell them to take out the luggage and then i had to again park my car outside.
Room was deluxe Ganga view, the view is good , room was normal, but the white towels were looking grey.
Then comes the worst part- restaurant.
Its a small area with 7-8 tables and buffet is like a 1000 rupee hotel.service of the restaurant staff sucks, except AMIT , he is a great guy else other guys were having trouble in taking any order ..
Food variety and quality is also not good.
Pool opens at 9:00am and closes @08:00pm(who stays in hotel in Rishikesh in this duration?)
They closes the breakfast sharp @09:30( even if u reach @09:33am the staff will say its closed, i witnessed this incident on 3rd May with another guest)
I used to visit Aloha , and i must tell u its 2000 times better in less price.
I paid 15000 for one room and in this much amount u can stay anywhere and can do anything.
It is a overhyped hotel with nothing special.
So avoid it.
U can get same things in 5000 bucks.

Super duper place. What a location! Just next to the asthapath. Perfect for taking long walks along the Ganga every day.
Dr. Neeru was amazing. Every meal was specially curated for us. So were a few yoga sessions with Riya that were lovely and the spa with Anjali was wonderful.
Manjeet at the reception, Dinesh and others in the kitchen and Ajay Singh at the delhi office were so nice.
They made special arrangements in the outdoor corner garden for my birthday and the menu was specially curated for this as well!
We were in the Wow Ganga Suite - which was very very spacious - try for a higher floor as the ACs of Ganga Kinnare nearby trouble you!
Kudos to the whole team for having a very blissful memorable time.

We had a very nice and relaxing time at Modi Yoga Retreat. The staff is very friendly, the classes and treatments are excellent, the food is most delicious and the setting and view are amazing. We would like to make two suggestions tho: 1) Plastic bottles for water in the restaurant and the rooms as well as for shampoo etc in the bathroom should be abolished. Filtered water in multi-use glass bottles are much more environmentally friendly. 2) We don't see any reason why the stairs are for staff only, while guests must use elevators. Using stairs is much healthier and much more environmentally friendly, and the guests should have the choice to use them too.

Just returning from a recent trip to Rishikesh where I was visiting my daughter who is in yoga training there. Modi not only provided me with daily yoga, spa treatments, luxury accomodations, and food to suit my health status, they also cared for me as one of the family. The Hotel’s Owner, Dr. M, was the most charismatic person and greeted us each day and made a point to show us the height of luxury and wellness in Rishikesh.
Because of their care and attention, I left Rishikesh 5 pounds lighter and looking 10 years younger and certainly more at peace overall.
Hotel provides excellent food and accomadations and has stunning views of the Himalayan Foothills as well as the Ganga (Ganges) River. If my path ever leads me again to India and Rishikesh, Modi will be my home away from home.
