Detailed Reviews
The location of the property along the river and the amazing sitting area to just savor the beach and the flow of the river is mesmerizing. One can access the beach area and enjoy bathing in the river.
Location & surroundings : 5/5
The path to reach the place is quite difficult hence if you've people who can't climb downhill or uphill please make sure you have enough support for them to reach this place. Also, travelling to this place after sunset can be quite challenging so plan to reach hotel before sunset.
Path to reach : 3/5
The food is good and the serving staff is very friendly. You have options of room services from 8-10 for both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast has lots of varieties. At a first glance the food might seem a shade costly but the quantity is good enough for 3 people that justifies the higher prices.
Food options, taste, staff: 4/5
The room is pretty spacious for 2 people. I would suggest not to go with 3 people because the 3rd person then would have to sleep with a mattress on floor.
The amenities provided are refrigerator, AC, WiFi, geyser, and other common ones. The room had a dripping roof which was a big turn off but they've a gallery with a view of the river which compensated for that.
Room & maintenance : 3.5/5
Overall : 4/5
If you are planning to visit Rishikesh and stay away from the hustle-bustle of the town (which is way too much), you should stay at this place!

Situated on the banks of river called choti Ganga, this resort is quite and calm. The location is very much in proximity with the nature. The only sound apart from occasional barking of dogs and the sounds made by peacock was the sound of the flowing water and the chirping of small birds around. The approach is about 5 to 7 minutes walk through a pagadandi overlooking some more resorts and camping locations in the vicinity. The receptionist Ms. Shweta was kind enough to call and confirm our arrival time to send the staff on the road to fetch the luggage and guide us through from the paid parking located just at lower plane from the road.
The design of the rooms was in some retro styling which robbed some of the functionality and also there was some lack of professionalism which was conspicuous in the interaction, this being innocent, was not a deal breaker at all. The retro look in the name of conservation of environment was a refreshing change from the routine though. The landscaping of the resort was also quite pleasing to the eyes.
The food had limited options but the freshness and quality was upto the mark. The staff was polite and submissive which more than made up for the occasional lack of professionalism. Another factor which added to their endeavour to provide hospitality was their providing of food and accommodation to our driver.
A little bit of training to the staff to preempt the probable requirements of the guests as well as arrangements with the parking owner to provide the same within the room tariff would certainly add to it’s goodwill and customer satisfaction.
In all a satisfying and enjoyable stay at the Nishantam Sanctuary Rishikesh

Stayed in this property from 9/10 to 12/10/2020 with family
Such a beautiful property with good service and a very good cook who prepare meals as per your desire.
It was mesmerising,03 days were a short period to enjoy the weather and the property.
I was given rooms on 1st floor ,which all the way had better view of the river and the scenario surrounding it.
About the food the chef was really good and the made all the dishes as per desire as we were the only guests in the hotel .
The location is exceptional you open the gates and you are on the riverfront. The water was warm and we enjoyed the 03 days holiday in the river .
Thanks Howard Sanctuary Rishikesh for a great holiday

First of all Howard Sanctuary, Nishantam Sanctuary and Sanctuary Resort all are same. We booked three rooms for two nights on Christmas. It was all meals inclusive plan. On the way from Delhi I called in the given no and got a quick response with google location ( as its a bit difficult otherwise to find the resort) We stuck in traffic from Delhi to Rishikesh and reached the resort only by 5 pm so already skipped lunch at the resort on the first day itslef.
The resort is 200 mtrs downhill unpaved way (trek) from the road, so for elderly persons it would be very difficult to reach the place. After reaching the location we kept calling the given no to arrange to carry our luggage but there was no reply. Luckily, got to see some people on the road and on enquiring found that they were from same place, so requested them to carry our luggage.
Resort has a very nice location next to a tributary of the Ganges (approach is difficult). On the reception we were welcomed but not with our welcome drink which was part of our package 😨. Strangely, none of their staff has a smile on their face. When we asked if we can have one room with twin beds we were told that they have only King beds in all the rooms. The resort staff does not even know what kind of beds they have as when I entered the room I realised that there were two single beds with separate mattresses which were put together so I myself put them separate. While doing this I realised that the bed aheet on one of the bed was not cleaned so made a complaint to the housekeeping which was then replaced. Electric kettle was in the room but with expired milk sachets, again on complaining those were replaced.
While checking in I asked the manager what are they going to serve us in high tea (as part of our package) but he was clueless. In fact, I had to explain to three different people three times each that we had all meals inclusive package. We were served veg pakoras and sandwiches not enough for six people, after skipping our lunch which we had paid for.
Evening was good as there was a guitarist / karoake programme which we enjoyed but again after convincing the staff with big difficulty to serve our cocktail snacks near the bonfire which they were reluctant to do. The second day we went out and again skipped our lunch at the resort. Immthe evening, we has the same experience of the previous day - no one including the chef knew what were they serving in high tea. But this time to my surprise they had arranged fish for the evening which I had requested in the morning. At the time of check out the owner - Mr Nishant came to meet and he knew all our complaints but stangely did not come to see us during our stay.
The location of the resort is near a tributary of the Ganges and it can be a very comfortable and nice place if maintenance is taken care properly and some training is provided to staff.

The hotel management needs to work on the service offered and upgrade facilities. The issues I faced were:
1. Late check-in (4:00PM)
2. No hot water in Shower. I asked for a mug to use bucket but that too never came
3. No free parking
4. Campers right in front of property had better access to river and view
Disappointed, I left early the next day. Not worth the money being charged.
The food was good which was highlight of the stay

Howard Sanctuary in Rishikesh was our stay for two nights for 3 of us. After initial confusion about type of room we were accommodated next day for larger room. Food was superb. Location was superb, out of hustle and bustle of city. It was Serene and quiet with choti Ganga flowing and Peacocks dancing, and birds chirping Management took special interest in taking care of us

We stayed at Nishantam Resort for 2 days and cannot recommend it enough! The balcony view from the room over the river as well as forest and very close to nature, is stunning and mesmerizing. Resort's open area is adequately comfy and gives your mind a unique relaxation from every metro city noise. In restaurant, Veg & Non-vegetarian both foods are delicious and fresh and the staff looked after us so well. Specially Mr. Shivam who has given the best class hospitality and services. The location is also great with a short 5 minute walk into the river which meets in Ganga River.
High five to everyone at the hotel for giving us such amazing hospitality.

I have stayed in Nishantam with my colleagues, friends and family everytime I visited Rishikesh. It's been 3 years that I have chosen this Resort for the stay because the staff is very gentle, food is great and the location with facing riverfront is the best things one can ask for. The property is very pleasant, chilli chicken is my favorite just to add in. Aman and Jaideep are very polite and helpful. Do visit this place and I am sure you will love it.
Thanks

What a stay it was.. Thankyou Nishantam for making my weekend so wonderful. A staff that is so courteous, food that fills you up with joy and the lush greens that just adds to the peace. The resort is attached to the river which is safe to sit, bath and relax. They have a spa facility available that relaxes your mind and body. I stayed in nishantam for 2 days with my friends and we all loved the hospitality and the location. You have to trek a bit from the parking but that's not an issue as you get to walk through the beautiful greens. We thanks aman and rest of the staff for all the support.

Nishantam Rishikesh an unexplored and is situated in rattapaani. Beautiful views from most of the rooms. I was given with the balcony and an upgrade to one of the suites and i would like to add the rooms are spacious and has spectacular view that picture's can't explain. Though uploading some 😝.
Staff is courteous food is good. Must try chicken tikka and tandoori chicken 🐓 'spicy' as i like it.
Service can be better but was not bad.
*Warning ⚠️ donot speak to VIVEK for your bookings please he is the most laid back sales person i have ever seen* Only speak to the most humble and soft spoken Mr. Shivam he is a experience creator.
Must visit ❤️
I would rate it 5 out of 5 .
Thankyou 😌
