The rooms and facility was immaculate and much better than expected when I was viewing it online. We stayed in March and the hotel was empty. We were placed next to a very noisy neighbor and would have negatively reviewed the hotel except they were very quick to accommodate us and move us into another room. They food was subpar. Since COVID19 they do not provide their typical fare but instead you order items off a "menu" that they then hand you over a counter. We called ahead to get an idea of the food situation and they were unable to provide us with any assurance as to what they would have available. However, upon arriving they advertised omelets available to order. The omelets came in a disposable container and was piping hot. We had high expectations but were disappointed to find fake cheese inside the omelet. The food overall was "hohum" and nothing amazing. We were 20 minutes away from Zion National Park entrance. The view along the drive was nice and for the three days we stayed there, we did not find the drive arduous. After seeing Springdale, I would prefer to stay there, as it offers a cute little town to walk around and visit little shops. However, for the price and cleanliness of accommodations, the Fairfield was a great option.

My husband and I just completed a six night stay at this property, which is about ten miles from Springdale.

This is a newer Marriott property and is very clean and updated. The rooms are spacious, with beautiful views in every direction. It is in a rather isolated area, but we enjoyed the fact that the location was very quiet and peaceful. We were happy to find that daily room service was provided.

Complimentary breakfast is served daily, and it was very plentiful with an assortment of hot and cold items. Breakfast attendants worked very hard to keep the area clean.

The pool area was very clean as well, although the pool was cold - probably due to the night temperatures. It was relaxing to just sit in the beautiful sunshine.

At all times, the front desk staff was kind and helpful.

This hotel is a good alternative to staying in Springdale, if you don't mind a drive of about 15 minutes to the park's entrance. The cost is less than staying at the hotels in Springdale, but remember that you do have to pay to park there, which is about $25. daily, if you are using the Springdale shuttle. We only parked there once, so it was not that significant.

There is only one restaurant near the Fairfield (Balcony One), which was excellent. Otherwise, we dined in Springdale, which has many fine restaurants. They do provide complimentary parking for two hours. All in all, we dined very well.

We were happy with our choice of accommodations, and would not hesitate to return.

If you are looking for an excellent and affordable stay near Zion, stop looking and book this place. The room was well appointed, large shower, comfy bed, and nice sitting area outdoors. The breakfast was excellent and the young ladies running it were super customer focused. The front desk was very friendly and helped us with options for dinner. Food is near by (5 miles in either direction) and plenty of choices. It is easy to get to and plenty of parking. They also did one of the best jobs for COVID with plenty of hand sanitizing dispensers. We had one small issue with our shower door and they fixed it literally in two minutes of our call. The exercise room is better than most. The pool area was closed (seasonal) but looked great. I would highly recommend this place due to the staff as well as accommodations.

I’m basing my review in comparison to other Fairfields and similar hotels. The property was very nice, even with them working to complete another wing of the hotel. The pool area was large and looked great, but we didn’t take advantage since we didn’t pack our swimsuits.

They seem to be taking the pandemic seriously with plexiglass at the front desk, that staff masked as well as the breakfast staff. Because of current conditions they offer grab n go boxes. We were there two nights and each morning the boxes were packed with an orange, a yogurt, and a muffin. There were also cereals available and juice or coffee on your request.

The lobby and breakfast area were very nice and under different conditions we would’ve spent more time there.

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and included a fridge and microwave.

The location of the hotel was great as it was just a short drive to the Zion entrance and directly across from Kolob Terrace road which is a nice drive up to Kolob reservoir.

When we return to the Zion area, we’ll likely look to stay here again.

I didn’t give a full five marks because parking is quite a ways from the entrance for some reason, not all staff was masked, and this isn’t the Ritz (lol)

Great employees! Breakfast a bit weak. Great bed. Nice room. Not noisy AC unit. Quiet location. Convenient location. Awesome pool!

Two things: whomever was cleaning the shower, it seemed as if they used slippy slidy cleaner. Literally, I had to hold onto the very small grab bar at the opposite end of the shower head to keep from falling. If you use the shower, like my wife, use sandles and you will not slip. VERY DANGEROUS!
Secondly, a small thing... no where to eat around there. So gotta go 10-15 minutes into the town to pick up food. Zion area has some restaurants but very sketchy.

Thank you for your feedback! We are very happy to hear that you had such a great stay at our property. We are sorry to hear that you had such a struggle in the shower. We keep bath mats underneath the sink in the bathroom for our guests' convenience. If you come back to our hotel speak to our front desk staff and they can give you great food recommendations in both Springdale and the La Verkin/Hurricane area. We hope to see you again!

Marriott is one of my trusted hotel brands and this location did not disappoint! Such a convenient location. This Fairfield Inn. & Suites is located approximately 20 minutes from Springdale where there are plenty of parking locations available so you can catch the shuttle into Zion National Park (Zion’s parking is limited and fills up quickly).

The hotel is very clean and well kept. The rooms are spacious. There’s a pool and gym on-site. The gym has both machine equipment and free weights. A free breakfast is included in your stay. There is a small convenience store in the lobby with snacks and drinks. Otherwise, you can drive 15 minute in either direction for a meal. On-site parking is plentiful.

The only issue I have is that I requested a room on an upper floor when I booked (a feature offered on the Marriott website) and did not get the room requested when I arrived. I would have loved to look out of my window and get a great view of the mountains. In addition, I always get free waters when I stay at Marriott. However, one evening, the front desk attendant gave my son the run around saying that my membership did not include the free waters. Odd, but he ended up giving my son the waters anyway.

If I were going back to Zion, I’d book here again.

Stayed 2 nights. This hotel is new and very clean. Great rooms and comfy beds. Nice pool and hot tub with amazing views. They did a great job with breakfast during covid with a very friendly and helpful attendant getting you anything you need. Fruit, cereal, muffin, yogurt, bagels, eng muffin, coffee, tea, milk, juice.
We left a charger and they called us offering to mail it! So nice. Easy 15 min drive to Springdale and Zion.

We visited this hotel while visiting Zion National Park and were glad we booked there.
The hotel has a great location close to the park entrance (not a walking distance)
The views in that hotel is magnificent because it feels like you are in the Utah desert surrounded by mountains.
As ususal from the Marriott brand the rooms are nice, clean and the lobby area is nice.
Still limited breakfast items because of COVID but yet nice that they have complementary breakfast
The staff were very nice and professional

This hotel is super fantastic, clean, easy to access to Zion canyon
I stayed there two nights with my wife , the pool is very nice specially in the afternoon when sunsets.
The rooms are very clean , quiet and big with beautiful decoration and most important thing is air conditioner which was working properly.
The bathroom and shower looks new and clean with no stain or dirt on the containers or faucets.
The staff are super friendly , the front desk lady helped me to cancel my last night stay as I had to leave early due to an urgent matter and I didn’t get charged for this cancellation
I will recommend this hotel to whoever has a plan to visit Zion and Bryce canyons

I spent one night here in February 2021. On check out I was greeted by three housekeeping personnel, none wearing face masks. One was cleaning rooms. One was cleaning the hall. And one was cleaning the elevator. Two of them had the face masks hanging on one, the man cleaning the elevator, had no face mask at all.

Marriott, on a national level, is failing to keep customers safe. This is not the first Marriott I have encountered in the last few months with housekeeping staff and front desk staff not properly wearing masks or not wearing masks at all. But this is the first where 100% of the housekeeping staff was not following covid-19 safety precautions.

Not from the hotel. You can drive into Springdale and pick up a free shuttle to the park but you have to pay to park in Springdale. Or you can drive into the park and hope to find a free parking spot for the park shuttle bus. First time in no spot so went back aroubd 2:30 PM and lots of spots.
