I stayed here with my husband for a long weekend and aside from all of the activities, I couldn’t be happier we chose to stay at the Double Tree. It’s location is great, right in between Main Street and other activities outside the city, but what made it a truly great trip was the staff here. Mike was an absolute delight (full disclosure he had been made aware we were coming). He was so warm and kind and gave us wonderful recommendations for meals and activities. He treated us like real VIPs and rolled out the red carpet for us. He even reached out after we returned home from the trip! 10/10 recommend staying here just for the staff. Of course the hotel is beautiful and clean and has a great restaurant for breakfast! Thank you mike and the Double Tree team!
What a wonderful hotel with a convenient location. A Fresh Market is walking distance as is a Walgreens. The free city bus line is right outside the front door. A great way to visit Main Street and other locations in the area without driving and worrying with parking. Also Olympic park was a short walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is stylishly decorated. The front desk team was very pleasant and efficient…and those hot cookies YUM. The room was very clean and quiet. We received a free breakfast that was delicious. My husband enjoyed the eggs, bacon and hash browns while I enjoyed the fruit, yogurt and delicious hot oatmeal. We will look forward to staying here again in the future.
Very comfortable property in a convenient location. Quiet and clean. The employees are so helpful and personable. Tasty breakfast and very nice breakfast staff--a good way to start the day! Special thanks to Mike at the Front Desk-- he helped co-ordinate our daily plans and provided suggestions for outings/experiences not found in guide books or online. He helped make our first stay in Park City even more memorable.
Everything about this hotel was excellent. The rooms were very spacious and CLEAN. I was there for a conference and the staff was excellent and very accommodating. Mike (front desk manager) made sure that everyone felt welcome and was over-the-top helpful to our organization. Mike was very personable and made you feel at home. He gave great recommendations for local eateries and shopping. The bartender was also wonderful. The bus transportation is Park City if free and across the street from this property. Being a seven-minute bus ride away from downtown was very nice! There are several places to eat at all price points in this area and a grocery store right next door is a big plus! I highly recommend this hotel - it was the people that made this experience very memorable. Not all hotels I have stayed in for conferences provide this level of service! Thanks for a great stay!…
Check in was easy. Just beat the rush. Customer service from the front desk (Anthony). to the bar (Tomas) to 1800 park (her name started with a J I think) was amazing. Had difficulty communicating with some of the housekeepers as they did not understand or speak English which was very frustrating. They should learn the essential English words for the items that they have on their carts so they know what the guests are needing from it. No intiendo doesn’t cut it. I like that they provide $15 voucher for each person. We used it every day/night. Rooms are out dated. Should make the rooms that are pet friendly tile or vinyl. Everything was operational in the room. Would stay here again. Gym was very spacious. Could use some stretching bands.
The hotel is really old. The rooms were clean but aside from that... it's not great. The air conditioning is super loud, and extreme. It's either freezing or hot. The laundry (we had to do laundry there) was not very functional, I ended up having to dry clothes on the balcony. The WiFi was good.
Excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. Good food and conference facilities. Mike and Anthony were especially wonderful at the front desk. Always offering water and cookies! The hotel feels small but offers a lot. My only criticism is the toilets are outdated- they should install low-flow toilets soon!
Check in was painless. Not sure about the location yet because we arrived late. We got into our room and there is no AC. We were told the thermostat was on the wall by a very unhelpful woman at the front desk. We have searched every inch of this room and there is no thermostat and the AC unit does not turn on manually. We were told there was nothing that could be done and that the hotel was full. Horrible customer service. So disappointing.
This hotel is in a great location with easy access to grocery , restaurants and sports stores within easy walking. It is also right next to a city bus stop which has several lines and is free! We had breakfast there each day which was excellent with very friendly staff and fairly priced food. From the time we checked in to our departure, the overall staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful . One staff member in particular , Mike at the front desk , was very helpful and informative about the area and things to do. He always greeted us by name and was truly commendable on multitasking without missing a beat! If we venture back this is certainly up there as a great location with very good facility and excellent staff.
We were required to enter a credit card for the free WiFi. Within several hours both of our cards were used fraudulently. We had to cancel our cards. Not great when you are on vacation. Not worth the free WiFi”.
