The overall stay was good. It was my first time staying in Park City, the area is much more metropolitan and larger than I expected. It truly is a ski city not town. Room We stayed in the 1 bedroom in Ontario building next to Deer Valley Rd which was a bit noisy and underwhelming views. However I enjoyed the easy access to the pool. The units do not have balconies or windows that open which was disappointing and I would love to take in the fresh mountain air. However the air conditioner was easy to adjust and worked well which was nice respite as most restaurants did not have air conditioning and it was quite hot. The beds were extremely comfortable even the pull out couch wasn’t shabby. The interior design was not my favorite but everything was up to date and nicely maintained. The water was very hard to control temperature wise the first night after fiddling with the handle for 15 minutes I finally just toke a cold shower and the last night I couldn’t quite get the water cool enough. Hard to find a good medium. The kitchen was well stocked could use a few more plastic plates to bring to the grills. Pool- The pool is interestingly shaped and depth is a bit scatttered ranging from 6 ft in some pockets and 4 in others. There is not much of a shallow end for young kids and there is only one small set of stairs inside. They should add another set at the other end so you can enter out side. They do keep one of the hot tubs at 94* and that is where the kids would play as it is more shallow. They have 2 great grills by the pool, a fridge, and a sink inside. The locker room/ bathrooms were nice and had nice showers. Staff/ Activities I started my trip with a yoga class Sunday. It was quite wonderful and a very high quality class. We also did the s’mores and tie dye. Both were fun and staff was quite helpful. The Wild West story looked like blast. All the staff were masked and so friendly. 5 star for staff!

It was a bit of a mess with construction during October of 2021. Having to re-route the front office, it was clearly marked in the parking lot on where to go but the temporary lobby/check-in was abhorrently small so during check-in time it was just a mad house. We actually even got here before check-in time and the space was fine, but as our room wasn't ready we came back and it was insane. Getting INTO the room was an adventure as well as not all of the buildings connect directly so we had to go through one certain building to take the correct elevator to our room and the rooms were just ok. As a general rule for all hotels, I wish there was a CLEAR warning AT THE TIME OF BOOKING that the hotel will be under construction. I did receive an e-mail about a month before we got there, but had I known at the time of booking, I would have looked at another hotel. It has all the makings of being a wonderful getaway for families with daily activities and a neat activities center, but the layout was SO confusing and we only had one night here, so we barely had the time to find our way around. I'm hoping the layout was just because of construction. The outdoor pool was small (at least the one that we went to) the one through the activities center. LOCATION: The location alone gets 5 stars. You are walking distance to several restaurants ranging in mid-range to high-end and even some cheap eats. Just outside of the hotel there are a host of HUGE bonfires and benches which was a wonderful touch (not sure if this is Marriott's property or just Park City).

In all the time I have stayed at time-shares (we own Marriott in Hilton Head), I have yet to have the ultimate experience like we had here. I just can't say enough about this resort, from the decor to the staff (GREAT!) and to the location. It is in the center of town and steps away from excellent food, sightseeing and shops. Truly, a gem of a place! We love the new decorations and felt that the safety measures were spot-on. The pool was nice as well and the staff at the pool really tried hard to keep everyone happy.

I will start with the positives about this resort - the location (right downtown) and the engineering team as they were courteous and tried their best each time time they came to our rooms to fix something. Now on to the opportunities for improvement at this resort - while the front desk staff was superficially pleasant - they were unhelpful and disorganized. For example, we called the front desk before our arrival to see if there would be a 4th of July BBQ and were told “no.” However, we noticed once we arrived that there was one on the activities sheet. We called the front desk on the day of the BBQ to find out the location only to be told again that there was no BBQ - once we pointed out that there was one per the activities sheet - they apologized and said they were confused. We called the concierge a couple of times before our arrival to request that someone on their team give us a call back as we needed help with a few reservations and we never received a call back. Lastly, the room was sub-par due to the very poorly done remodel (uneven floors and transitions, cracked tiles, and cracked plywood cabinets that did not close properly). Our room also faced a very busy road and the din from the noise was deafening all day and all night. Basic bottom line - I would suggest that you chooses a more peaceful, restful and relaxing resort if you plan to travel to Park City.

Having never visited Park City previously, we took a chance and booked here as it seemed centrally located. As it turned out, it is in a fabulous location in downtown Park City, with easy access to all the attractions. We booked a 1 bedroom suite and it was huge and recently renovated. The parking in the underground lot is free and it’s a breeze getting in and out. Beds and linens were new and very comfortable. The don’t currently have housekeeping due to staffing difficulties but that’s just the way things are at present! This is a great property and we would stay here again in a heartbeat

Boy, this is sure not what we were expecting. Basically rooms with very little on site amenities like restaurants. There is a pool a couple hundred yards walk from our room. Rooms very clean, but quite small. No desk. Small exercise facility. Thought it would be more like the Westin at Whistler. Also looks like no upgrades for Bonvoy status. That said, staff was friendly and parking included.

My husband and I stayed for 7 nights end of April 2022. The property was very well run, and all went smoothly from check in to check out . We were able to check in early as our one bedroom "Villa" was ready. It was very large and clean, with a full kitchen. The times I did call the front desk for anything, they were very helpful and friendly. Parking was included, and onsite. The heated pool and hot tubs were large and pool was very warm. Property is close to many eateries within walking distance. I'm finding I do miss the mid week cleaning, which the vacation resorts seem to have cut out due to pandemic. I was not bothered at all by the time share "pitch." All in all a very enjoyable time at the Summit Watch. They did have a desk for info available with hiking maps etc. for those interested.

We loved our room location. Friendly and informative front desk guys. Conveniently located to walk to restaurants and shopping in the city. Had a little grocery area, which has Starbucks. Covered parking garage. However, if you have a low clearance vehicle, you must use caution when entering and exiting the garage.

This was our third stay at a Marriott Vacation Resort, and this property met up to our expectations. My husband and I spent four nights here at the end of April and were in a basic room located in the Alpine building. For a party of two, it was very adequate. It had a king- sized bed, small kitchen area, and a sofa bed. Being off-season, the price was right. The Alpine building has been recently refurbished and was very clean and fresh. One side faces Main Street, and the other side faces the inside of the property. I would only recommend this room for a party of two. Directly outside our door was a nice fire pit, where we enjoyed our evening drinks and snacks. The walk to the pool was at the other end of the property. Being off-season, several of the local restaurants and shops were closed, but we managed to find enough that were open. This could be considered a good thing, as well as a bad thing. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. At first, we were hesitant to use the pool, but discovered that it was heated to 92 degrees - very pleasant. There are three hot tubs in the facility. With plenty of sunshine, we enjoyed the experience. There is no daily room service, which is explained on their website. It is getting tiresome to do our own "housekeeping" during the pandemic, but are getting used to it. Staff were in the hallways during the day, and gave us any supplies (towels, etc) that we needed. There is no food service at this hotel. We asked where we could get breakfast, and were directed to a location a few miles away (Five Seeds). On our last day, we discovered a restaurant called Harvest, located around the corner from the property. It was excellent. The front desk should be aware of nearby eating facilities! Park City is a very quaint place to visit, and we enjoyed our stay. There is a trolly which will take you up and down the Main Street. Our driver was rather surly, and needs a course in PR! I am rating this property 4, rather than five, due to the fact that there is no room service or food available on site. My opinion probably would be different if we had been there during high season.

If you want to be in the heart of downtown PC, on Main Street, by the Town Lift, near the restaurants and scene, THIS is the place. The room was ideal -- nice size, king bed, extra sofa, small kitchenette. Clean. The lack of daily cleaning service was NOT a problem. The location is UNbeatable. Literally 40 steps to Town Lift. 25 steps to ski rental. Within 1 block of 5 restaurants. 50 restaurants within 2 blocks. Hot tubs were awesome ... not right in the building, but so close and so great. 4 of them! The staff, including Zack and others, were really nice. Here is our one beef and we'd like MSW to address it. When we checked in we were told to come back the following day to the Vacation Desk (not front desk) for a welcome gift. We figured it would be a key chain or a bottle of water or a Starbucks gift card or something small but well-intentioned. NOPE. I (adult male) was asked: "Would you like to have one of your 3 nights free?" I said: "sure thing, what's the catch?" The woman at the Marriott Vacation Desk said, "Oh, if you come tomorrow for a 90 minute presentation on our vacation options, we will give you a free night." I explained we would be skiing the following day, but could I come after 4pm? She looked at me and asked "where is your wife?" I explained she was not with me and that I was traveling with my (teenage) child, just the two of us. She then told me that I was no longer eligible because my wife was not with me. HUH?? What?! I was really tweaked by her attitude, this approach, the fact that the "welcome gift" was a bait-and-switch, etc. I really liked this property. But was turned off by this nonsense. Look forward to hearing from MSW. Thanks.

Hi Josh, thank you for your review of Marriott's Summit Watch. We are delighted that the accommodations and location met your needs. Thank you for recognizing the kindness of our front desk team member, Zack. We are truly sorry for the misunderstanding when offered a sales presentation invite. We do require both husband and wife to attend a sales presentation to accept our tour premium. We will share your concerns with the Sales and Marketing management team for future improvement. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you, again!
