I had some confusion with a reservation that Jocelyn kindly helped me resolve on the spot. She was so helpful and professional. Enjoyed the stay and Newpark is well situated by shops, restaurants, and paved walking/biking trails. The pool, jacuzzi, hot tub were all working and had a relaxing stay. Bed comfortable, and room could be dark enough for good sleeping. I left an item behind and they sent me a notification. Overall great staff and a comfortable space. Will definitely be returning.

This was our second time staying here on the 4th floor(first time was comp’d bc of electrical issues w/hot tub), and I can definitely say it was worth it! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and just the right size for two people. The bed was fairly comfortable and we really enjoyed using the robes provided in the bathroom, while we were there. It had a kitchen set up, with fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave, sink, and dishes. The gas fireplace was an extra special touch too. Great place!

We love the location of the Newpark Resort. The rooms were amazing, they had a hot tub on the balcony, a fireplace in the room, washer and dryer in the room, robes and a large shower and tub. It is located close to restaurants and some shopping.,the scenery was great also. We stayed 3 nights and the only trouble we had on the last night was a gymnastics group that came in and was loud , I called the front desk 9:30 pm and the desk clerk wanted us to get up and change rooms. I ask him to call the room and ask them to be quiet. I had to call back and ask him if he called their room (no). I had to go knock on the door and ask them to be quiet 10:00 pm. The room was amazing and I would stay there again but the man at the desk needs to try and fix the problem not move people already in bed.

My hubby and I booked a room in late September (off-season for skiers/peak season for leaf peeping). We were thrilled to find such lovely accommodations for such a wonderful price. Upon checking in, we were greeted by "Emily" who was friendly and supremely helpful (we came back to ask her questions a couple of times and she never seemed put-out or annoyed by us). Our room was small and cozy with a plus sized bathroom. A darling kitchenette and fireplace were bonuses. For the most part, we were incredibly happy. We went to tour the amenities, shortly after checking in. There is a fairly large pool - partially covered and partially exposed to the outside. The hot tub is completely outside. There are also steam and sauna rooms. The gym is located within the same area. We hoped to take advantage of one if not all of these, but with only one night's stay, we ran out of time. The only cons; 1.) unusual air circulation within our room - we could never find a happy medium with the temperature. It was either too hot or too cold the entire evening. The vent was placed just above the bed but I suspect it was aimed towards the bigger part of the room. We weren't ever sure, but speculated as much. 2.) super soft pillows. Hubby and I were truly grateful for the firm mattress but wished we'd had the same, in terms of pillows. Other hotels typically offer two pillows each; one being soft and the other firm. All four were incredibly soft and difficult to sleep on. We eventually just did away with them completely. 3.) No microwave - kind of a bummer, if you want to reheat leftovers. Small issues for sure and definitely not a reason to avoid this amazing resort. I can imagine how wonderful this resort would be in the winter. Definitely and highly recommend!

Stayed here as part of a road trip and really enjoyed it. Get a suite with jacuzzi Kitchen was helpful as able to save money by going to supermarket nearby to cook. Room was clean and some of the best customer service I have seen in years. Near Olympic Park and 5-10 min derive to shopping.

We just got home from our little getaway from Newpark and I can not say enough great things! First off Melinda is incredible! She needs a raise or promotion. We arrived in Park City and the VRBO we had booked for months was double booked. The owner wouldn’t return our calls and we were on hold with VRBO for over 4 hours. We arrived at Newpark frustrated, exhausted and overwhelmed. Melinda saved my family! She cared about us and went above and beyond to help us. The hotel was so clean and nice. Awesome location to restaurants and shopping! We will definitely stay here again.

I read all the reviews before arriving and they were all glowing. Most people talked about receiving upgrades but I guess they were full when my husband and I came here. We booked a standard room without realising they have absolutely no natural light. The one window which open to an interior vent lets in so little light you need every light on in the room to see anything. The fireplace is a nice touch and I guess in winter it would make up for no light. But who wants to be in the dark at 10am?! Also the room connects to the bigger balcony room next door and I could basically hear everything that was happening in that room. Kids yelling and quiet adult conversations. Absolutely no privacy. I’m sure they didn’t appreciate hearing us either. Unless you splash out for the larger room and want to play music to drown out your neighbours, stay somewhere else.

Wow words cannot even describe my experience staying at the Newpark Resort last night with my wife and 19 month old little baby! We booked the standard queen room for the night and to our amazing surprise upon check-in we’re upgraded to an absolutely beautiful top floor corner hot tub suite! The pictures of the property do not do it justice as in person the room are more beautiful than a picture could ever depict!… however nice the property,, the night wouldn’t have been the same with Emily and Jenna at the front desk! They went above and beyond to make sure not only did they upgrade us to a suite, leave a really cute note on the bed in the room, anndddd locally made caramels just as another special touch,,, but they also made sure to put us in a room away from others as having a little one who makes quite a bit of noise lol. The hot tub on the balcony was amazing! And to our surprise even though it’s summer my wife especially appreciated the heated floors in the bathroom! If you’re looking for a resort that has it all and more.. look no further Newpark Resort is the place to go! Thank you again to Emily and her staff for making our anniversary that much more special!

Newpark resort is a MUST! my husband and i booked a standard room for our anniversary. the front desk staff were so professional and accommodating and they even upgraded us to a deluxe suite for the night!!! they left a really sweet note and delicious homemade caramels. the room was so clean and soooo nice!! full size kitchen, dishes, utensils, pots and pans…. washer/dryer…. this place has it all! you name it, they got it. the pool was awesome and we had so much fun swimming. they were even nice enough to give us a late checkout and early check in! the bathroom was our favorite part!! heated floors, soaking tub, separated shower, and full size toiletries. we absolutely loved our stay and will be coming back very soon!!

My husband and I did a staycation here for a night. On arrival, the receptionist, Emily, immediately made us feel welcomed and at ease. She was friendly and helpful. Our room was incredible and super clean. Our personal hot tub wasn’t heating up so the front desk sent up Julio to check it out. He said the hot tubs are brand new, and got it to start heating up. When our hot tub didn’t end up heating up much after a couple hours, Jenna at the front desk promptly put us in a nicer room with a working hot tub. Emily and Jenna made sure we were taken care of and provided excellent service! We loved the text personal assistant, too, as an easy way to chat with reception and check out.
