Detailed Reviews
This hotel was a delight to discover in Kanab. The rooms were beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had never been to Kanab before and the front desk directed us to some excellent restaurants where we enjoyed good food and terrific service. Also, got directions (again from the front desk) to Zion Canyon via the most scenic route. Soap and grooming products in our rooms are specially made for this hotel and smelled heavenly. If I am ever back in Kanab, this is where I will stay!

Beautiful room. I only have two issues. One, it was advertised as having two pools, neither one was on the property, one was across the street, the other down the block, both at other hotels. Two, when picking up my complimentary breakfast there was complimentary coffee available in the lobby, I decided to make a cup while waiting, when the person at the desk saw this he removed the cup of coffee from my breakfast. I stayed in the penthouse suite and I find it rather petty and cheap that I wasn’t allowed two cups of complimentary coffee.

Very good value. The double queen bedded room was spacious, well maintained, and clean. Stayed there during the COVID pandemic so they seemed to be taking that seriously with a sanitizing hand wash station outside hotel. The breakfast was handled as "takeout" which you could eat in their dining room or take back to your room (we had a table there). Choice of hot or cold breakfast which we ordered when we checked in. They have a small swimming pool across the street at the Canyons Lodge property. No complaints. I would stay here again.

My husband and I spent two nights at Canyons while visiting Kanab. It is a charming place with many amenities so we were totally surprised at what we encountered in our bathroom. There were no safety hand bars in the shower/bathtub area, the non slip base of the bathtub was practically non existent and there were several areas of black mold in the grout on the tiles! There were no hooks to hang anything on except for a nail on the door. This was brought to the attention of the manager who gave us special consideration. Breakfast is not complimentary but can be added to the room charge and offers a variety of items buffet style. Rooms are nicely appointed and there are several comfy chairs outside and around a fire pit - ideal for relaxing after a day of hiking and exploring the beautiful Kanab area.

I am sorry that your room was not set up the way that you had hoped. We do, however, have rooms with grab bards in the showers. If you had simply let us know ahead of time we would have been happy to move you. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Next time we will get you into a room more accommodating to your needs!

What a find! Looking for something different from the chains, this is it. Terrific room on the second floor of what felt like a personal home. Rooms were quite large with fireplace. Staff was exceptional and very accommodative. The Covid breakfast I though was perfect under the constraints with choice of hot or cold. They work with Dreamland Tours, which we took advantage of, with a 10% discount. The place to stay when in Kanab.

+1
We had a fabulous 3 weeks at 6 national parks, staying at 13 lodgings. Canyons Boutique was among our favorites.
We stayed here after leaving North Rim, and hiking Buckskin Gulch. (We also unsuccessfully entered the Wave lottery in town the next morning, one of 27 applications that day.)
We got the penthouse suite, which has two large bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, an extra sink (which they call .25 bath), small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom was roomy and had really nice towels.
There is a nice coffee setup by check-in, and they offered a hot or cold breakfast you pre-order, packed for you in a to-go box. We enjoyed ours in our room, along with juice. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing us with plenty of ice for our cooler. They have bikes you could use but they looked a little beat up so we declined.
I took off one star in this review because this great suite is at the top of 32 steps. I knew that but still it's a ding. Plus no porter service was offered.
But I would stay there again!

I was very happy with my stay and Canyon's Boutique Hotel. It was by far the cutest and upscale place we stay driving through town, and was withing walking distance to everything. That staff was super friendly and attentive. A nice simple buffet breakfast was perfect and easy way to get started early on the days activities. Our room was really nice, clean, well decorated, and spacious enough for all our needs. And, when I accidentally left a couple items in the room after I left, they texted me right away and sent them to me in the mail. Avoid and beyond... Anyway, next time I get out to Kanab (hopefully soon as I loved it there), I will definitely stay there again.

We were in room 202. It was a deluxe king which had a fireplace, We got a AAA rate.
The woman working the front desk was very sweet and welcoming. We added the hot breakfast upon checking in, and it had a nice selection of hot foods, cereals, bagels/toast. Well worth $10 a person. The room was large, had in room coffee(they also have coffee in the lobby starting around 7:00 am) and a refrigerator. The room was very clean. The bathroom was three times the size of any normal hotel bathroom! The bed was very comfortable. The walls seemed thin, but actually it was pretty quiet. There was a lot of noise from the restaurant, but they closed somewhere around 10:00 and then all was quiet. If my travels ever take me to the Kanab area again, I will not stay anywhere but at this quaint hotel/victorian inn.

If you are headed to Zion, I highly recommend this hotel! It is a very classy and comfortable place to stay with many personal touches that you cannot get at a chain hotel. There are free bikes to ride and a free wonderful breakfast.
The town it is in is quaint and fun to explore!
The ride to the eastern entrance to Zion is beautiful and takes about 35 minutes. We loved the drive every day through Zion to Springdale, where you park and catch the shuttle.
We would definitely stay here again!

During May, 2020 my wife and I stayed at the Canyons Boutique Hotelin Kanab, UT. Although the hotel is older we enjoyed our stay during the pandemic. The staff took exemplary measures to keep their guests safe during this contagious time. The breakfast, a stuffed burrito, was excellent. As we looked into the kitchen when the door was opened we could see the kitchen staff were taking precautions to serve us a "safe" meal. If we pass thru Kanab again we'll surely want to stay at this property .

Hi Patricia,
Kanab is located 1 hour from Springdale and 1 1/2 hours to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and about 3 1/2 hours to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
It is about 30 mins. to the East entrance and then 30 mins or so to the visitors center depending on the wait to go through the tunnel and view stops. There you take a shuttle up the main canyon. There are multiple "routes"to explore on the East side which are beautiful and not crowded but also unmarked.
I didn't see a pool but i wasn't looking for one. Our room had a fabulous jetted tub and the ambiance of the room was very romantic.
