This hôtel cancelled my reservation one hour prior to my visit. I had to find a new hotel in emergency after landing in Madrid airport. They gave me a BS excuse about my card being denied (when the card should not have been charged prior to my arrival in the first place according to the Web site !!!) and it is such à f'ing lie since I was able to book a more expensive room with the same card. If you want to travel mindfree, DO NOT BOOK THIS SHoot HOLE.
The room was very basic with a standard not so comfy bed. The food was only served from 7:30pm had steak at 18 euros and it was terrible. No value for money at all. At night trying to sleep. Loud area. There was fighting cats as there are loads on site. Also the other visitors had no respect loud and running around at 2 am. Minimum sleep and not recommended. Would never stay here again
First the good things. It’s cheap. Accessible to E5. Plenty of parking. Large rooms and a pool. But...... It’s like a 1960s East German barracks but not as well decorated or maintained. Most (not all) of the staff are pleasant and helpful. The small indistinct and unmarked entrance is easily missed and requires a 15km round route to get back in - madness. There is nowhere else to go so you have to use their restaurant. The pool has an attendant but it’s a scruffy and untidy pool and surrounds. The set dinner at €10 is cheap and the mixed salad okay but it’s not an enjoyable meal. To summarise: It’s a dump. Although cheap it doesn’t make it worthwhile. Avoid it. Not the restful experience you want when on a long drive. The booking.com address is wrong. It’s not 12.7 but exit 12b.
Excellent value for money. Clean, lovely rooms, very good staff. Basic food, but cheap. Menue of the day ten euros. I will return to this place on my travels to the Valley of the Fallen, which I normally do once or twice a year. I will like to say hellow to Lola, a very nice member of the staff. This is a good place for people travelling and staying for a short periode of time.
This hotel is quite unusual in that there is a reception and bar and restaurant in one building and the rooms are in approx 5 blocks, the closest is approx 200 meters away from the reception building. Ok in summer, not great in torrential rain. Dogs are allowed to stay but. We were forced to have a drink outside In the cold. I would say that this hotel is ok if you want to leave your dog in the room, not if you prefer not to do this. We left on a Saturday morning at 8:30 without breakfast as the restaurant had still not opened
