What a great experience! We stayed the whole week for a business trip and we had all our expectations met. The front desk staff was very helpful and the cleaning staff was always on top of making sure that our sleeping room was clean and our meeting space was always impeccable. The restaurant staff and bar staff Gabriel and Diana made the stay feel like home. They even treated me to a home cooked meal. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a great price and a great stay

After I had booked this hotel for a weekend stay I received the ominous news that portions of the hotel were undergoing renovation and that guests should expect some disruptions. Indeed, much of the lobby area was closed off when I checked in, and dining opportunities were restricted (though this may also have been due to ongoing COVID-related protocols).

Still, the two-bed suite we booked was spacious and clean. We appreciated the sliding partitions between the bedroom and the sitting area, making our room a genuine suite, equipped with microwave, refrigerator and ironing board. Since our primary goal was a quiet, comfortable place to chill and sleep in between performances and other events, we were perfectly happy. The only slight annoyance was some confusingly placed light switches. Be informed that if you bring a car that overnight parking costs $29.

I checked into your Tapestry Hotel on West Loop in Houston Texas. When I checked in I told the front desk it was hot in the room 711. At that time I was told someone would be right up. No one came. When I got off of work that night I complained about the heat and the toilet being broken. They sent someone up and he changes the fuse and supposably fixed the toilet and they compensated one night for the inconvenience. The next day when I got off of work AGAIN the a/c was NOT fixed it was still hot and the toilet was still running. I went down stairs and let the front desk know again. The gentleman at the front desk around 11o'clock pm asked me if they had changed me rooms. I told him no they did not. and he said okay he would let the manager know. AT NO POINT did he asked to switch me rooms. Around 3 o'clock in the morning it was so hot in the room that I called downstairs and they sent some one up. He said "yep it looks broke" his exact words. he then said they can switch me rooms. I had to be at work at 7 am. I had to go downstairs get the keys and change rooms at 4 in the morning and again had to be at work at 7. This entire stay was miserable. I then called the general manager and JOHN. And if he wasn't the rudest jerk I had ever spoken with! he went back and forth and told me I was pretty much a liar. He had absolutely no empathy that this entire stay was a disaster! 1 night of compensation and changing me room in the middle of the nigh on my last day is not compensation for terrible customer service. Even you breakfast was terrible they charge you 21 dollars and are short staffed, don't greet nor speak to you, did not bring me silverware, or clean off the table, or bring you your drinks which is what is supposed to be included in the service.

Having just completed a five-day trip to Houston, I just wanted to say how wonderful the stay was at Sheraton Galleria, especially due to the exceptional staff who went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and valued! Diana in the bar is simply the best. She is attentive, warm, sincere and she genuinely enjoys talking and making everyone in the bar feel special. Thanks, Diana, for making me the most amazing Long Island iced teas!! Shout outs also go to Gabriel who is so friendly and works tireless to make sure that everything that comes out of his kitchen is excellent! Lastly, Evelin deserves mentioning for the wonderful care she took with my room, ensuring that I had everything I needed! John, the manager, is visible whenever he is there and stops to chat to ensure your needs are being met. Thank you to all who made this trip so memorable. Will certainly stay again if my travels take me back to Houston!

From the minute we arrived the welcoming staff made you feel like you were important. The rooms were great and very comfortable and front desk did everything to accomodate us so we could have connecting rooms. With their free shuttle bus we were able to visit near by areas and went beyond the call of duty when it came to going to NASA and the airport. Restaurant on site was also a lovely meal. Highly recommend

This was a great experience and i love the food at the restaurant the only thing was it was too expensive for no reason but i guess was still great ! Unfortunately the windows in the room were horrible I can hear everything from outside and my remote wasn’t working for the tv . Valet was exclusive and something very new to me . A young hair with blond hair named Nyla was very helpful and willing to bring all of my bags so I tipped her. She was fun to talk to. Other then that i would do this all over again

Great location, great rooms. I enjoyed the jacuzzi in the pool area. Convenient accessible AC outlets on desk and bed. Refrigerator and safebox in room. Parking was good and accesible with your room key, even salute and recognize you. (Use the second floor close to elevator. From first floor you need to turn around the parking lot to access the hotel, if raining not nice). Amenities were ok except no body shampoo. No bottle of water in the room. WC in bathroom uncomfortable, bad planned.

We began our stay almost immediately after we discovered damage to our property from Hurricane Nicholas. The hotel allowed us to check in at 6:45am and we were able to enjoy breakfast at 7 am. This was when we first encountered Gabriel. He was so attentive and gracious even when our tensions were high from the stress of the storm. We asked a lot of him that morning, and he was truly helpful. We ended up staying a couple more days, and he was always asking about the repairs to our home or asking if we needed anything at all. He knew I was pregnant and always offered to bring me snacks or water bottles. He truly made a stressful time more enjoyable. We are deeply grateful for his kindness and warm personality this week. We also would like to thank the staff for being so flexible with our timeline. They offered a very late checkout of 4pm if we needed it every day while we waited to see when we could safely move back home. This flexibility and everyone’s kindness really won’t be forgotten. Thank you so much for being the bright light during a bad week!

I recently had a brief overnight stay in Houston due to a client meeting, and went with this option over a few others in the area I previously stayed at.

The good: Hotel is under renovations, and a staff member shared it will be rebranded in the new year, and under the Hilton family (currently Marriott) . Staff was friendly and professional, and room was clean.

Improvement needed: Room was a bit drafty/chilly, due to AC. The shower also seemed to have two extreme temps- very hot or very cold.

Thanks for the question, mandiemmagavin. Yes, we are a dog-friendly hotel and do not charge a pet-deposit or fee. Two non-aggressive breed dogs up to 85lbs are welcome per room. You will be presented with a pet waiver to sign at the time of check-in. Your pet is allowed in the guestroom while you are present, however, in consideration of neighboring guests your pet may not be left unattended in the room (caged or un-caged). Also, you mentioned requesting towels while declining full housekeeping service. That is not a problem either. Many of our guests elect to participate in the Make A Green Choice program, by opting out of daily housekeeping service and earning 500 SPG points or a $5 F&B credit on their bill per participating day. You can participate for up to three days in a row (excluding your check-out day). And, of course, you may request items such as your used towels to be exchanged. Remember, Sheraton has a best rate guarantee. Plus, when you book direct, you receive complimentary Wi-Fi and are eligible for Starwood Preferred Guest benefits.
