Under construction. No bar or restaurant. We were there for a wedding and had to park on the street to check in then go up to the second floor to check in. No elevator to the second floor had to go next door. Would not have stayed there if we knew it was under construction.

Thank you for your feedback. Our sincere apologies we fell short of providing exceptional service. Even though we are going through a transformation we are still equip with room service, bar and a restaurant. Unfortunately, yes parking is directly on the curb side for immediate access for our guest. The vehicles are still safely parked after valet retrieve them in the parking garage. As we diligently work through our transformation we are striving to have the lease negative impact that will affect our valued guest such as your self. We truly apologize for any inconvenience we have caused you during your stay and hope you will give us a second chance to redeem our self on the next visit to Houston.

This hotel is under a major renovation. The entire hotel is closed off. The restaurant has been moved to a conference room. The registration desk in next to the elevator bank waiting area. Make sure you check you final bill - mine had valet parking ($34/night) included when I

I have stayed at the hotel many times. Aside from the construction underway right now on the entrance (which is a negative, but temporary), the hotel itself is somewhat run down and the amenities are average. Probably better to stay at the Hyatt one block away.
