Rude and inconsiderate staff. She was worried about going home than taking care of customers. Room was not prepared. Had to make our own bed. Avoid this hold in the ground. We will be writing an official complaint to Marriott with detailed review. I will never stay at Marriott property again.

We are confident that upon a return visit you will experience both the service and product you have come to experience from Marriott.

Newer or recently upgraded facility, large room and bathroom, modern minimalist design. Microwave and mini fridge in room. Great bed and reading lights, good workspace and couch area. Near walking trails. Fridge only stays on 2 hrs then shuts off and must be restarted, not very practical. Friendly staff, good free breakfast choices. Somewhat noisy if facing highway, otherwise surrounded by woodlands.

I see several complaints on here (i.e, no housekeeping or pool closed), give me a break! We are in a Covid crisis which has devastated the travel industry (I've worked for both an airline and a rental car company), including the hotel industry. Yet some folks expect the same amenities and level of staffing as before. Give me a break! What I am looking for today in a hotel is their policy on what they are doing to keep me safe from Covid, while I am staying there. I inquired about their safety protocols and was satisfied with their answer. While visiting Houston for one night, I spotted this hotel off of the highway in Tomball, where I was shopping with a friend. Went online and found it as a reasonable rate of about $89. I picked it because the area was new in 'development' and the hotel had all of the markings of one that was probably not more than two years old. The parking lot is pretty much bare bold concrete, with no trees or shrubbery of significance. The advantage is a clear view of your surroundings, so that was good! The lobby and eating area were ultra-modern, looks like they had just been built. There was only one person on the front desk, but it was clear from the parking lot there were not a lot of guests that night. The room was also great looking to my area. There was a divider of the room near the entrance. So others could use the pull out sofa bed and there was a sliding frosted window on the divider to offer privacy to the main bed space, yet check on your kids in the sleeper sofa area. The bed was big and comfortable, and I had no issues at all sleeping. The bathroom was a nice size, when the toilet far off to the left so that you wouldn't immediately see it when you walked in. Good! I personally asked for a ground floor room, so I wouldn't have to deal with other people in elevators and it was very quiet. Location: This place is NOT close to downtown Houston, I picked it because my friends live in the NW part of the Houston suburb. But you can get to downtown in about 35 minutes with little traffic. There is a retail development one exit up on Louella. There are several stores and restaurants there, including Another Broken Egg breakfast restaurant. I had a good meal there, because they have 'outdoor' seating, which I am more comfortable with these days! For the price of about $100 with tax, this was a great hotel. No, you are not going to have a lot of staff anymore at this time or breakfast. Who wants people reaching over your food to get at a buffet) during Covid? But I think this hotel was a very good value! Plz, stop whining about how things were and deal with as they are! Oh one last thing, across the highway from the hotel is a 'preserve' with walking trails, biking trails and lakes for fishing. It was quite popular, when I visited it.

The Good: Our room was good size with a sofa bed, small fridge, and microwave. The TV was large and the beds comfortable. The room seemed clean and the hotel appears to be fairly new. Staff was friendly and the public areas looked comfortable. Two computers are available to print a boarding pass or check the news. The Bad: There is no housekeeping here. Monday-Friday you can put your garbage outside the room but the sign says housekeeping will not enter your room. This service is not even available on the weekend. No clean towels, emptying of trash, refill of toilet paper and other toiletries can be had on the weekend. The hotel seem fairly full. On the first morning breakfast consisted of coffee, juice, fruit loops, frosted flakes, milk, a very small amount of Greek yogurt, bananas, a couple of muffins, and pastry, the kind covered in sugar with jelly in the middle. The second morning it was only cold coffee, milk, juice, frosted flakes, sugary pastry, and old bananas. And this was at 7:30 in the morning. The air conditioning seemed very noisy for a new hotel. The outdoor pool is not open however the bar was open in the evenings.

We stayed here for two nights. Upon arrival there were two cars parked in the drop-off area blocking that pass through. There were construction cones blocking the two entrances to the parking, we were at a standstill until we got one of those cars to move. It made it apparent that there was no staff checking on the hotel grounds. The pool is closed, it says per the county order, but per the county website pools CAN open, with a couple of conditions. There was no phone in the room, so heads up you’ll need a cell phone to call. The rooms (really the whole hotel) seems new and clean. There is hand sanitizer throughout the building. The bar was open 4-10pm. Masks are to be worn in all public areas of the hotel. Some of the tables are closed off. Elevator rides are limited to 3 people. There is no housekeeping service. Monday - Friday you can leave out your trash and towels, but what about the weekends? This seemed like a cost saving measure and not a health/safety measure. There was a fire alarm at 3am. We evacuated. We understand that this is not the hotel’s fault BUT but there was no announcement over the intercom, there was no one facilitating, telling people what was going on, or when it was clear to go back in. We were out for about 45 minutes. The hotel seemed very full. There was no paper in the printer. Once the coffee container had cold coffee (~8:30am) which after my cup ran out. A separate time there was no hot water available for tea, the front desk staff didn’t know how to get hot water (as she later asked to watch) and to ask the bartender who was on break. Once finally getting the right staff, they were very kind and happy to help. Breakfast consisted of (cold) coffee, a couple of pieces whole bruised fruit, frosted flakes, granola bar, pre-packaged muffin and apple or orange juice. This was at 8:30am and 8am. At check out they did NOT apologize for the 3am evacuation and did NOT ask how my stay was, just sent me on my way. Overall the hotel itself was nice, most of the staff seemed to be courteous and willing to try but the management and policies are severely lacking leading to bad guest experience. I hope they can turn around some of these things for the next guests. I would recommend staying elsewhere until new management is in or unless you can get a really low rate and come with low expectations.

Stayed at this property several times... On my last stay, I tried to book a room for a future upcoming visit and was told by the young girl at the front desk that she couldn't do it, and I would have to call the 800 number for a reservation... I'M RIGHT THERE AT THE HOTEL ITSELF...!!! Never, has a Marriott property refused to make a reservation in house for me... Several times I have called to book a room, and still told that "reservations dept" will have to take care of that (reservations rarely gets things right), and when its booked direct, its a solid reservation with no hassles... Overall, I feel this hotel has no time for those who call, even those well established Bonvoy members... I feel like this property can care less if you choose to stay here or not... I would suggest staying at any other Marriott in this area, but not this one... This property is poorly managed and team members are poorly trained in customer service...

The hotel offer free Wi-Fi, parking & hot and delicious breakfast. It is great for business or just for one stop before going somewhere else. Very close to Bush airport which for us was very important because we just landed in the evening. The room was clean and comfy. The hotel is so close to our favourite SaltGrass steak house, that's how we choose it.

I stayed 5 nights at this beautiful hotel and was highly impressed. Finishes were modern and attractive. The room was very comfortable and well appointed, with a nice comfortable mattress. I really enjoyed the breakfast, and they switched things up from day to day which kept it very inviting. The breakfast area was well staffed so all was kept full. There was plenty of seating there as well. All staff members I encountered were friendly and ready to help with anything. All signs point to a very well managed hotel, where I would gladly stay again!

Hotel front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. My room was comfortable and clean. Pretty typical SpringHill Suites. I wished for more of a sundries shop and a restaurant, but I wasn't promised one, so I suppose I cannot complain. The hotel is right off the access road for the highway, so it not scenic, but if you have business in this area it is close to those and local restaurants. It is not walking distance, however. The mattress in my roof was very firm and not very comfortable. I would probably not stay here again as a result.
