Everything about this hotel is perfect. From the friendly greeting you receive at arrival to the reception at check in to the quiet beautiful rooms. Special thanks to Milton and Jose in the restaurant who delivered our breakfast piping hot and checking periodically in case we needed anything. Each floor has complimentary coffee in the morning as well as tea. Exercise facility is clean and has plenty of high quality machines. All of the museums are within walking distance or just grab a ride from the hotel car. Looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you to all the staff!

Sumptuous service, gorgeous detail, a lobby that whispers “class” as soon as you enter. Spacious, elegant rooms. And the hotel is surrounded by art museums! There was a complicated problem with my reservation, which was promptly and patiently solved by Kamoni, who is without a doubt the best hotel staff member I have ever encountered. I travel frequently, and Zaza has become my Houston go-to. Thanks, Kamoni!

My Wife and I just recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for a little kid free get-away. Overall we enjoyed our experience here at the hotel. The worst part was the drive into that part of town. I remember why I hate driving into downtown Houston every time I go down there lol. This hotel is not your typical Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton etc. It's a uniquely decorated hotel. If you prefer your classic modern name brand hotels, then this is not the hotel for you. They have several floors of regular rooms then their top 2 floors are reserved for their Suite rooms. My wife and I were in the Casablanca room on the 11th floor. The floors in the hotel also have "butler station" which is a table by the elevators that they put coffee, tea and little biscoff cookies out in the morning from 6 - 10 AM. The wife and I had dinner reservations for Monarch on Friday evening. It's a interesting restaurant, but I would not eat here if you were looking for a fine dining option. It's fine for casual dinners / just want something easy, but if you are looking for something more exclusive / fine dining etc, this is not your place. For us it was fine because the whole purpose of our visit was to just stay in the hotel and not leave, but had I wanted something fancier, I would of gone elsewhere. And to be clear I had 0 issues with the food or staff there While we were there at the hotel, we had a couples massage on Saturday. Again no issues here with the spa or staff, but if you are looking for a larger spa this is not it. It has the basic amenities such as a shower / locker area and a little lounge to relax in but that's it. I can't speak to the ladies side of the spa, but on the men's side we had 1 bathroom, 1 shower, 1 dry sauna. If you are looking for a hot tub, steam room etc you won't find it here. The facilities were nice, but just felt it was important to set expectations that this is a fairly basic spa, but the massage therapists were great. Overall here are our thoughts on the room/stay: Pros: Nicely decorated room with 2 balcony's (1 for the living area and 1 for the bedroom). Staff interaction was very friendly and accommodating Unique hotel, not your average chain hotel which is what I was looking for, for this weekend. Spa onsite Cons: Room was a little dark, even with all the lights on. Maybe this is by design, but the darker color of the room / furniture etc, just made it rather dark in this room. I wouldn't say it was that big of a con, but maybe some brighter lights for if you want them on or not would be helpful here or different style lamps to help illuminate more. No smart TV's. Part of our little get away this past weekend was we wanted to watch a show or 2 we had not been able to at home. The in room menu showed a section for "casting to the TV" but it wasn't filled out on how to do it and when connected to the wifi there was no option to cast from my device to the TV. Not a super big deal but for the price of the hotel / suites it would be a nice to have. Especially since you are starting to see more and more hotels offer this. The Wifi was kind of terrible. Not sure if it was our room or what, but it took 10-15 minutes to even connected to wifi, and when I finally did get connected it would only stay connected for a few minutes before dropping off. When I was connected, the speed was terrible. Max I got was about 2-3Mbps vs not using wifi on my phone I would get 200+Mbps. Not sure what the deal was with that, but would just be nice to have that working better. My wifi signal was strong, just useless. Overall we did enjoy our stay here, and I would come back again. The main selling point of this hotel is it's unique decorations.

Great experience and wonderful team. Monarch’s food is delicious abs Kamani at the front desk went the extra mile to help with a question I had at check out and with shipping the shoes I accidentally left behind. She is so nice and helpful! This location is also very conveniently located for the multiple business meetings I attended while in town. It’s also right across from the Museum is Fine Arts.

We had an incredible dinner at the Monarch!!The restaurant was extremely busy with a great atmosphere. The gorgeous hostess Kirstyn greeted us at the door and offered to look after our table. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The service was perfect. Her menu recommendations were spot on! The seabass rivaled B&B and Trulucks and the Smores pie was epic. Thank you for a wonderful evening, Kirstyn and the kitchen crew. We can’t wait to come back.

The Hotel ZaZa is an amazing experience. The hotel building and rooms are beautiful and comfortable and accommodating. But its superstar quality is the staff. Friendly and helpful, they went the extra 100 miles to insure that our stay was perfect.

Our flight was delayed and then cancelled on a Houston connection for two nights. We decided to make the best of the delay and stay in a hotel downtown rather than near the airport. We LOVED Hotel ZaZa in the Houston Museum District. The hotel is magnificently appointed and the rooms are elegant and comfortable. The best was the personal attention we received from the Concierge (check out Trey), who guides us to a wonderful brunch and dinner destination that was perfect for us (mom and two 20-something daughters). And we loved the shuttle service that allowed us to explore the neat Rice U, museum and garden destinations near the hotel. Uber rides were easy to organize for farther destinations.

The ZaZa exceeds every expectation you can imagine. We have been going there for 13 years for treatments and check ups and never even think about staying somewhere else. The staff, environment, amenities and uniqueness are second to none.
