My wife and I stayed here for the weekend. The rooms are so quiet you feel like you're the only one on the floor. The beds are comfortable and the rates are reasonable, especially for the Galleria area. Even room service is reasonable, I ordered a half pound burger and fries for $13. Cheaper than some restaurants in Houston. Excellent customer service and parking is free.

Being a Regional Director of Sales for a 5 Diamond Resort makes me a tough customer. I know intimately how important the details can be. I LOVE this brand! I stayed here at the Hotel Indigo Galleria in Houston last night and was not surprised to find everything was perfect! From my excellent check in experience with Josiah to my fabulous dinner in their precious restaurant, everthing was superior. My tavel budgets are tight this year and we are always challenged to find affordable accommodations; not an easy task sometimes apreciating the standards we are accustomed to. This brand offers clean, well appointed, safe, enjoyable experiences. I could not be more pleased and wanted to share with my fellow road warriors. KUDOS Hotel Indigo Galleria! I will return for sure.

Thank you so much for the kind words SeasonedTraveler3120. To say 2020 was a trying year would be a major understatement, and as you clearly know, the travel industry has not been exempt from this chaos! I apologize for the delayed response here, but I want to thank you for your business, your interactions with the team, and your desire to let others know about your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back, and we hope it's sooner rather than later! Safe Travels!

My husband and I spent one night at the Hotel Indigo and were very pleased. We arrived just before noon and were allowed to check in early. The front desk clerk was outstanding in his demeanor, manners and friendliness. Our room was spotless, well lit and spacious. It had everything we needed for our stay. We slept well on the comfortable king sized bed. The hotel is within walking distance of the Galleria for shopping or dining. At the time of our visit the hotel restaurant was closed due to Covid 19. The price paid was very reasonable for the size room, free parking and location. We will be back.

Thanks so much for the feedback wanderinggreek! I love to hear when people talk about how great the stay was, but it's even better when I read about a positive interaction with one or more of our team members. We value your business, and we can't wait to welcome you back the next time you're in town. By the way, our restaurant is still operating in a limited capacity, but we hope to be back up and running soon! Safe Travels!

Stayed here firm 3 nights, bed was comfortable and room was clean. Lobby very dark and not appealing. Prepaid breakfast was a choice of tiny oatmeal in a package container, tiny pre made biscuit with sausage and egg or bacon. All were blah and I had to pay for coffee. Will not be back.

Thanks so much for your feedback Jrennae64. I'm truly sorry that you were unhappy with the hotel, and I'm sad to hear you will not be coming back to see us. We typically hear the opposite when it come to feedback on the lobby given the turquoise paint and bright lighting everywhere, but something was clearly missed the days you were here, and I am terribly sorry for that. As for the breakfast options made available to hotel guests, we are still working toward getting back to normal as we get through the global pandemic, but that is not an excuse. I will speak with the teams both here at the hotel and at IHG to discuss additional menu options we can have available, as we want our guests to be happy and able to start the day off on the right foot. I thank you for your business, and I hope you continue to support IHG hotels in the future. Happy (and safe) Travels!

I had stayed at a hotel indigo in San Antonio several years back that was great. This hotel however looks similar like it was made or updated within last 10 years with some nice aesthetics, but it literally looks like they havent fixed anything since the hotel was made. The paint was peeling off the walls and ceilings in multiple spots in our room the dresser doors were askew. The hallways had like ceiling particles or something white throughout our floor. It's a real shame because if it was cared for it'd be a decent hotel. No free breakfast or onsite laundry. The hotel location was fine it's about 15-30 minutes from most things in Houston and maybe 45 to space center. I wouldn't visit the galleria mall again it was a regular mall with some more recent safety concerns this year.

The room was spacious and beds were queen sized and comfortable. Checkin was super to the point.

Not sure I'd try a hotel indigo again now.

A year ago I stayed here and everything was perfect. I decided to get away to Houston for a night and chose this place because it had been good before. But this time, several things went wrong and FYI we had room 208:

1. There was hair (not just a little hair but also a ponytail holder filled with someone's hair) on the bathroom floor.

2. There were mascara stains on some of the towels and lipstick stains on the bedding sheet/blanket.

3. The sink didn't drain well.

4. The TV cut out (picture and sound) about every 4 seconds.

5. This is not the fault of the hotel, but right outside our window at around 2:30 AM there was a tow truck with flashing lights that kept setting off someone's car alarm, so we were then up for about 2 hours trying to get back to sleep.

The people working there are amazing and friendly, and it's in a great location - but while I normally expect cleanliness, I expect it 1,000% more during a pandemic. We disinfected every inch of the place and luckily had our own pillows and blankets we brought (thank God).

I would have complained and tried to switch rooms but I was exhausted when we arrived.

Reliable and always clean, this hotel is nestled right next to the Galleria. So the convenient location is why we choose this hotel frequently. Another main reason we select it is because of the no carpet. Housekeeping still isn’t cleaning the rooms daily but the towels are provided on request. The bar and restaurant are excellent.

The hotel could have a lot of potential due to its location and facilities. There are details that cost nothing and give added value.
We stayed for 4 nights, in that period they only left us in the bathroom 1 bottle of shampoo, conditioner, body gel, body lotion and a soap. We used them the first day and they did not leave a replacement. The second day I left early, and asked at the front desk to leave me an extra towel because they are very small, when I arrived late night they had not left it, I called to request it and they told me to go down for it, in a very rude tone, seeming to do me a favor. In the 4 days of our stay they did not clean the soap tray, cleaning was very poor.

I use to travel to Houston every year, and for sure I will not consider returning to this hotel.

Overall good stay. The bed was very comfortable and room was clean. Appreciate that they have free parking which is extremely rare in the Galleria area. Great location!

The air conditioner in the room was LOUD! It was like having a motorcycle in the room. I kept the TV on all night so I could drown it out. I would have just turned it off completely but it’s unseasonably warm for December.

Even though I’m IHG Spire Elite I booked through Hotwire because of pricing and I just happened to get this hotel. I get that I don’t receive Spire benefits since it was booked through Hotwire, but they definitely put me in the smallest room with a very small bathroom. I didn’t expect a suite upgrade, but a somewhat bigger room would have been really nice, especially since they have plenty of availability. No acknowledgment of Spire status at all. Nothing special or over friendliness when checking in.

I stayed in this hotel in October last year, and decided to book it again.

Experience is more or less the same: the room was nice, I had one with a separate seating area, that I could use to do some conference calls with my colleague.

Same note as last time: you also have some kind of kitchen area that is in my opinion a waste of space. I would suggest to put a table here, there is no real working desk and that is annoying.

The bed was a king one, and of good quality. The bathroom was big and functional, with good soap/shampoo/lotion.

Breakfast is however not that practical, it is typical for an Indigo hotel and for business people not having a buffet implies that you are never sure about the time you need for breakfast.
The wall paper in the room was this time not so special.
