I was really impressed. Clean, very attentive staff and a comfortable and spacious room/bed. This will be my next accommodation in Houston for sure. Also close to Galleria, several pharmacies and food shopping. I was very happy with my stay

I’ve stayed in many hotels in various states, both inexpensive & high-end. I was pleasantly surprised at our stay. Every single staff person that I came across was friendly, attentive, & helpful. The amenities and room were clean. There was a good selection of well-prepared food for breakfast and even late in the evening we felt safe going from the parking area & through the hotel to get to our room. Every area seemed very well-maintained.

Stayed at the hotel during the COVID19 pandemic and was pleased with the room. The hotel is clean and cozy. Bathroom was on the small side, but the room was perfect for a couple. Front desk Staff was also very friendly.

The only downside here is the expensive paid parking, around $20 a night. Makes me feel like I’m back in New York City. The location was convenient so we just used an Uber instead of renting a car.

Didn’t get a chance to try out breakfast or use the pool. Restaurant and gym were closed down, but pool was open.

There’s a gentleman club next door, but we didn’t hear any loud music on the 4th floor. Could be due to COVID19 and the club closing down.

This is my first stay with this place and it’s been pretty nice. There is only one thing unacceptably wrong here, and I didn’t bring it up to them. They have mounted their televisions tightly against the wall where the guest cannot get to the HDMI ports. I carry tools and I even looked into loosening the mounting enough to get a cable back there and determined it would be more trouble than it’s worth. I wouldn’t think this very important were it not for the fact that virtually every other place I’ve stayed since HDTV debuted has made some kind of arrangement for the guest to use the TV as a monitor. They need to install articulated mountings, or do something like Hyatt Place has which offers the guest a whole panel of multimedia options cabled directly to the back of their televisions.

The hot water in this place has a problem in that there’s too much of it. When one first turns on the tub you’ll get scalding water in every valve position. It was only after changing rooms, and by flat accident did I discover it will finally cool down and give some colder water if you’ll just let it run for 2-3 minutes. That’s exactly backwards from the way most hot water systems work, and it’s very confusing to the guest. I didn’t mention that to them either because I know the problem to be somewhere in the infrastructure and it’s going to take the engineering department to fix it.

Outside of those two problems this place is everything Hilton should be. Their breakfast was extra nice, and the staff courteous and helpful. My room furnishings were as expected, and in first rate condition. The north door doesn’t always unlock, although it does click when approached with a key card. The lobby area is beautiful, and the pool has a little waterfall feature that is quite pretty. I would stay here again probably, and could recommend it with an asterisk about the television mounting. That was a big enough problem for me to move over to Hampton Inn. Very few guests don’t carry a computer these days, and we have come to expect an HDMI capable device of some capacity available for use. Their choice of TV channels to watch was pretty thin as well.

I was very disappointed with my stay and the response from the assistant general manager Luis Figueroa. Upon checking in my room was given away to another guest. I have hotel experience so I understand this happens often. The front desk staff that evening was very helpful and did what they could to make things 'right'. The room it self was pretty basic however what stood out was the major gap between the entry door and the floor. I could literally put my hand through. When this was shown and explained to the front desk staff the gentleman apologized and stated to please send the pictures to the general manager because he had no idea there were rooms where this was the case.

When I reached out to the Asst. Manager he stated it was due to air flow and he didn't agree with my cause for concern or safety. I followed up with the manager and inquired if the gap with the door was due to air flow why was this not the case for every room in the hotel but just a few rooms I walked past on the 8th floor. The Asst. Manager conveniently did not choose to respond any more.
I won't patronize this property any more but for a room to cost $400 - $600 for two nights I definitely don't want any one to be able to reach their hand through the opening of the door smh.

There were no communication for safety issues as with regards to parking. Garage does not have cameras and made for anxious moments getting in/out of the parking garage when needing to leave very early in the morning. Staff showed no empathy on condition.
Had "Scotch tape" in bacon and took the plate to kitchen staff, who literately took the plate without offering any apologies, seemed that they were more concerned about moving on to the next guest.

Pleasant and helpful staff- check in and check out went very smoothly. The rooms and hotel were very clean and quiet. We picked the location to be close to The Galleria and it was very convenient- we walked to the end of the street, turned the corner and you can see Nordstrom.

There honestly aren't enough nice things I can say about this Hotel. It's just been refurbished so physically, it's a brand new property. They have a lovely swimming pool, guest laundry services and a very spacious lounge area. But what really sets them apart is their commitment to go out of their way to help guests. Our flight was cancelled because of COVID19 and the concierge (Louis) immediately checked us back in (at 5am) and asked for us to get some rest and handle everything the next day. Also, the General Manager and Sales head are probably two of the nicest, most accommodating people my family has ever met. There hasn't been a single thing we asked for that they haven't been able to provide. If/when we ever return to Houston, were definitely staying with them. Also, the Hilton Honors app was able to get us some phenomenal deals here.
