Great experience!! Started at the check in. Even though there was a line, it was real fast thanks to technology. There is a kiosk where you can express check in which is wonderful. The hotel was clean and nice. Our rooms was spotless. We loved the coffee machine at the lobby and the fact that had everything we needed from milk to sugar, cups, tea. Also, the hotel is in a great location. We walked to where we wanted to go. I have no complains at all
4 star appearance, 2 star experience. Booked for a couples retreat with a pair of friends. location is great, yes, but the overall value for this hotel just isn't there for me for the price we booked at. the coffee machine, laundry room, and gym are about the best things going for this hotel.
Great service from valet to check in! Rooms were clean and everything was stocked. Check out and valet again was amazing! Nothing to complain about other than the TV in the living area wasn't working properly. That being said we were there for sporting events and the TV in the living area was not a major issue. Other than that that does not affect my five-star rating for this hotel. Keep up the great work!
This hotel does not deserve 4 stars!! The gentlemen at valet parking had no manners and one didnt even answer a question. So i walked away. Our room only had 2 pillows. We asked for extra pillows and they smelled like dog. Our comforter had blood stains on it. All this was reported to customer.service and was told management was informed. But no one ever came and asked about our concerns. We will never stay here again, ever!!
Valet and check-in were a breeze. Staff was welcoming and efficient. Hotel was clean and upbeat. The restaurant/bar was nice. A good variety on the menu and the bartender was sweet. Grayson was a delight!
Everything met or exceeded expectations. Great staff and manager, reasonable size rooms, great place to stay. Attached restaurant was very good - for breakfast and dinner. The hotel has a comfortable lobby area in which to sit, and great free coffee anytime.
Trip Advisor gave this hotel 4/5 stars. This has to be outdated or a mistake. There was no staff in the entrance to greet me. There is only valet parking, but the valet was nowhere to be found. I eventually was directed to check MYSELF in using one of two tablets on a table. I even had to make my own key! The carpet in the hallway to the room was worn and stained. A sign hanging on the water/ice machine stated it was out of service. The room itself had stains on the carpet and the white duvet. The single upholstered chair was threadbare on the arms and quite worn overall. The walk-in showered had an adjustable height shower head, which was broken. So the shower water came out at about chest height. The mattress was older and springy, making for a bouncy and uncomfortable night. The lumpy pillows were just the icing on the cake. I was SO disappointed that we spent extra specifically for a nicer stay. …
the hotel is very well located - my room was big, somewhat clean but old and had already some damages, I could hear the elevator during the night and coffee at my room was not refilled - the staff was kind and friendly but even couldn't get me some coffee...
I had an interview in downtown Houston and Club Quarters was just right around the block. Although they offer early check-in, the front desk person advised me to wait a few minutes until 11am to avoid the $50 early check in fee. He invited me to wait in the lobby and told me there's free coffee and the restroom was downstairs. I used the free wifi and got some work done. When it was time checking in was a breeze. Got to my room and the room was clean. The Keurig was a nice addition but I don't drink coffee and wished there was a tea or cocoa option. The shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion smelled so lovely. I was a little disappointed that it took a long time for the water to get warm, even when turned all the way up. The toilet took a while to fill back up and I almost thought it was broken but it eventually stopped. I would have also preferred better lighting to be able to do my makeup. The bed was firm but comfy and I liked the pillows. The dark curtains really helped. I used the iron and ironing board and they worked just fine. I wished the board was just a little bit higher. I could hear my neighbors next door so that was a little awkward for me but I just turned on the TV for background noise. I did like that I could watch cable or connect my phone to it. But my favorite part is the free bottled water. I really liked that you can fill up a water bottle (that they provide too) at their cold purified(?) water station in the hall near the elevator. Oh and some other pluses. The texting feature is super convenient and responsive. The staff is very friendly and the valets always opened the door for me. Thanks for the stay!…
The location and price was good. We have booked it through Hopper app. However, the size of the queen bed room was not big enough as it shown in the pictures, also room smelled as urine and carpets was old.
