Main reason I booked this hotel was for the hot tub. When I arrived, I was informed that the hot tub was not in service. When I came into my room I proceeded to take a shower and the water was so strong smelling it burned my eyes. Not sure why but when ai got out my eyes were blood shot red!! Lastly there’s no ice in the vending area. Overall my stay was not pleasant, the room was nice and the beds are comfortable though. Only good thing I’d say.

It seems like these glowing reviews are made up. Marriott should be embarrassed by this hotel. It was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It was smelly with gross carpet and peeling wallpaper. It needs an upgrade. Tub was peeling. Vent in bathroom didn’t work. TV in our first room didn’t work. When we went down to tell front desk, others were having same issue. Room layout is weird. TV is on side of bed so you can’t really see it from bed. We went to three different king bedrooms & they were all like that. Find somewhere else to stay.

The entire staff was friendly and customer service oriented. The gem of the hotel was Thelma in the Bistro. She was always super friendly, courteous and she remembered my order from the previous morning. Thank you Thelma!!

Stay here every time in Houston. Perfect location and great staff. Couple of eggs in the morning cooked perfect. The courtyard is great to relax especially if there are rooms on the ground floor. Everyone loves Mrs Chrissy..! So nice. Recommend.
