From the moment we arrived at the St. Regis Houston we felt welcomed and appreciated by every staff member we encountered. The answer to any question or request was yes, and what else can I do for you? Truly a testament to staff members in every department who care about the customer experience. Our upgraded Astor suite with connecting room was wonderfully sized, as was the additional room we booked for a family member. This is not a flashy glitz and glam hotel, and it does not have the most modern updates, but it has a refined elegance that felt like an escape from reality. We won’t hesitate to stay here again when back in Houston.

Every single staff member encountered was amazing from valet to check-in to room service. Very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Room service was excellent. We ordered the salmon, a burger, lobster bisque, and salad. I booked a King Deluxe room and wasn't impressed upon entry. The room smelled and looked a bit dated - not the crisp, refreshing feel I'd expect here. The carpets could use a good cleaning. The bathroom tiles, toilets, walls, looked and felt old. Had to hold down the lever on the toilet for a proper flush. The iron had burned on material which stained my husband's pants when he tried using it. The pool steps, corners, and crevices have a rust like, hard water staining going on. Lots of debris and leaves in the pool - possibly from the wind and rain the night before. Nevertheless, didn't make for an inviting swim experience. I opted to lounge poolside. Another little zinger is that we paid for oversized valet because we travelled with our truck and trailer. The valet wasn't experienced in handling the trailer, so we parked and retrieved our own vehicle during our stay...yet paid the full valet charge. Not a biggie - and we never mentioned this to the hotel, just thought I'd mention here in case you're parking true oversized vehicles. I'd planned to be here next month but decided to cancel those reservations. Although the staff and food were great, I wouldn't choose to stay here again because of the accommodations.

I got robbed from my hotel room in St Regis Houston. DO NOT STAY HERE. We had 3 rooms for 1 night. 2 of the rooms have missing items. This is not a coincidence. I had my rolex watch and my jewelry bag go missing from my backpack and my friend has his Hermes belt gone missing from his room. This all happened when we left the room to go to dinner. Hotel isn't sharing the camera footage or who badged in to our rooms with us. This is the most frustrating and invasive accident. VERY INSECURE AND DISTURBING PLACE. This hotel cannot be a St Regis or be a part of Marriot Bonvoy. Horrible horrible horrible.

We stayed here while in town for our friend's wedding and it was a good hotel overall. The service was excellent and our room was clean, but the bed was very hard and was not comfortable at all. Breakfast at the hotel was just okay (we would have expected better), but our friend's wedding reception was also at the hotel and the food was very good (steak, pasta, green beans, chicken cutlets, etc...), so it was a bit of a mixed bag from the kitchens at the hotel. It's not as nice as other St. Regis hotels, but it was a good place to stay for the wedding. 3.5/5 overall.

We had a comfortable stay at the St Regis, the room was large and clean and every staff member we interacted with was wonderfully helpful and friendly. The town car (that we took to the Galleria) was a nice touch, and the gym was clean, modern and well equipped. The hotel lobby is beautifully furnished and very modern and clean. Our only gripe was with our room itself, whilst being large and clean, we felt it lacked what we would expect from a hotel at this price point. The shower pressure was poor, however the amenities were plentiful and a great quality. The bed was comfortable, but felt like you needed a ladder to get in to it (my wife, 5’5”, had to take a running jump!). Turn down service was advertised but we did not receive it, nor were there slippers or dressing gowns in the room. The room itself also felt tired, and in the need of a facelift. Overall we had a great stay, we just feel the room could do with as much love as the rest of the property.

A St.Regis that is long in the tooth. The hotel was simply at the end of it’s life cycle. When I asked the bellman when the hotel was last renovated, he said “about 15 years ago”,which incidentally, was the last time I stayed at this hotel. He also mentioned that the “hotel was supposed to have been renovated last year”. The staff were very nice. The rooms were badly dated, with beat up furniture, dirty carpets, and in my room, the one I stayed in after rejecting the first room, smelled of smoke. The Remington restaurant, where I only had breakfast was fine. The pool area was empty but ugly, with cracked or dirty tiling. The only pool service could be called up using your smart phone, which is probably a COVID holdover that needs to go. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel, and should have the service to match. My shower/tub in the ridiculously small bathroom had copious hair in it, and the tan tiling with the yellowish lighting made for a less than enjoyable bathing experience. A five star hotel, should really have a separate shower box, not a shower tub!

I was hugely impressed with our stay here. Pre-arrival information from the Front Desk team was superb, the suite we were assigned was beautiful, and service from all the hotel staff was of a very high quality, while remaining very warm. The gym and pool are very nice areas and we enjoyed all the meals we ate in the hotel. Decor is traditional and a tiny bit tired in places. This didn’t bother us at all however.

Noelia, Jaime, mazernia, Juan, Antonio..These are just a few of the staff members who made a difference in our stay. Antonio found my iPad which I left in the exercise room and returned it to me safely. Nicholas McDermott , GM is making sure that aspects of a stay here are top notch. We have stayed here several times and we love it. The pool, the breakfast, the doormen, the front desk, the butler, and Juan at the pool were all so helpful. I wish I could remember all the sweet ladies at the front desk as well. From the minute you enter the hotel until you leave, you feel the St. Regis customer focused experience.
